Hmmm, i got the shocker of my life on saturday when i went for my first scan, by LMP i should be 16wks by first week of may but according to scan i'm 16wks today....hmmm, i always use that scan center even in my previous pregnancies cos the scan is mostly accurate. I went in and lay on the bed not up to 5mins i lay on the bed, the next thing i heard is...''Congratulations.....you are having two babies"....whaaattttt? I just jumped off the bed immediately,i was about to run out of the room when the man held me and dragged me back,even the man himself was scared because for like 20mins i was just staring at the man like it seems your scan is no longer accurate. After much calming, he then said he was only joking. I said it better be a joke cos i can't remember when i asked God for that, even though i admire twins but i never open my mouth to ask for it before, even when someone says that prayer for me i send it back to the sender immediately. So i told the man neither myself nor DH has twins in their family so where will it come from and i warned never to make such jokes with me again, haaaa! After the whole drama, i left the room but the sonographer then called in DH privately to give him the scan result and told him that he wasn't joking but that it was true ...JESUS...when DH came out and showed me the result,tears started flowing down,i started thinking....where will i start from,how do i cope, we're not rich,we're just OK.Look at me still complaining of how i will cope with 2super active kids+another preggy with no help + working from 8-5,haaaa...who send me message, how did it happen? I concluded i will try another scan center next month.....i can't believe it yet......Right now i need a miracle in my life!

4kg is much abeg, I use to have a very flat tummy, even my 1st was not showing like this until 38weeks. And he weighed 3kg

Yepee, today was the EDD on my most recent scan but I've managed to go through the day without borning . Atleast I made delivery hair but hospital bag is still not packed, I'd do that one tomorrow. Had some kick arise contractions today and the baby is just moving like crazy. My new hair is so painful, baby's movement is so uncomfortable. This night sucks.

Might be the 7up since different people react differently to different things. I was obsessed with lime in first trimester cuz it helped keep nausea away but when I read the posts against it on this thread, I started managing with just drinks that contain lime. It didn't affect me

Yes, i thought as much it must be the 7up,i usually take sprite before but when i read here as one mama said she took 7up,na so me too go do long throat o. Infact,it got worse combined with recurrent headache,back and waist pain, i have to go to the hospital after work.I was only given paracetamol and asked to come back today to run some malaria test....hmmm...it's well

Team October,how has it been going,hope we are all coping. As for me,just when i thought the MS is now relieving me a bit unknown to me that i was wrong, yesterday i threw up all the food i ate,i later took milo and milk when my stomach was bitting me continuously,i later threw up the milo too but was relieved. Though i became weak because i couldn't eat anything again until this morning i managed to take 7up and crackers only for me to be feeling waist and back pain o,anyway i've been casting and binding since asking God to take control.I later saw that the 7UP contains Lemon and lime, mamas that do take 7UP na so e dey do una too abi na only me waka come?

On a chair

Straddle your partner as he sits on a sturdy chair. Position the chair near a wall or another piece of furniture to lean on when you're ready to get up from this position.

Edge of the bed

Shift your bottom to the side or foot of the bed and lie back with your knees bent. (After the first trimester, wedge a pillow under one side so you're not completely flat on your back.)

Depending on the height of the bed, your partner can kneel or stand.

Spooning



Spooning isn't just sweet for getting cuddly. It can also be a super-comfortable way to have pregnant sex, because there's no pressure on your abdomen and you have lots of movement. Plus, your partner can position themselves behind you at different angles to allow for penetration.

Some of us aint feeling the baby kicks yet. I think there is no cause for alarm cos no 2 pregnancy is the same.

With my first, i felt the kick at around 18 weeks but i did not feel the kick at all till delivery for my second. At around 18 weeks now, i am yet to feel kick for this journey too.


Dear, eat more of vegetable. Ugwu and Shoko oko (Local green leave or so. not sure of the name) is a good source of blood.Mostly grinded and drink without cooking.
You can also grind beetroot, carrot and apple and be drinking as juice. it's also good too.

Yes she has a very poor upbringing and i always tell her brother but i tolerate her alot until the a day came i was cooking in the kitchen and my daughter cried to me that aunty so so hit her on her eye....yeahhhhhh that day she saw my madness....i let her know i can tolerate every other rubbish from her but won't tolerate her beating my child...since that day she will be sending my daughter away if she comes near her. My sis....if u send her on errand she will take her time and do it at her own convenient time,she doesn't care to know the urgency of what u've asked her to do.What about the day her own brother sent her on errand and she started grumbling and murmuring, the brother confronted her on why she is grumbling and she replied him....since then i gave up! Amen o...God will see me thruough
