My princess arrived yesterday, at exactly 8:42pm weighing 3.5kg with a little tear. Mother and Baby doing great, father has been jumping and dancing since yesterday. Lol

I thank God for the grace and the privilege to be a mother.

I wish the remaining September mothers safe delivery of their Lo's. May God who did it for me do it for you all.

heroinqc teamie thank God for His mercies o, it's well with us all. [b][/b]We had a lil scare too yesterday o, i'm 34wks+ too. Recently i've been stressing a bit trying to get some things done before Honeybun arrives, so my legs are swollen...I actually feel swollen all over so yesterday morning, out of nowhere I jst felt a trickle of discharge so I went to check....the discharge was tinged with very dark blood Aaah warris this I've never had any bleeding or spotting in pregnancy before, I dnt even get much discharge...same with my first so it was a bit scary for us. DH suggested we go do scan but I said No, leme jst try rest ( as easy as that is with my energetic 22m old toddler around )n watch it that yesterday or I'll go see the midwife. I got d very dark brown discharge on tissue paper once in awhile when I wiped....guess it's what they call "old blood" but it looks more like dirt than blood sef...but baby has been his/her regular active self so I dnt know what could be the reason for the brown spotting. Still see a tiny spot once in awhile since that yesterday

These days,if i tell you the kind of stares i get from people ehn,i went for my last shopping on sat and one lady started telling me she hopes it will be twin,i just laughed,by the time she then saw me ordering for two-two of same item, she started gossiping with her friend..hmm. On Sunday, as i was returning from church, a man i never knew just started greeting me and laughing at the same time, so i stopped and waited for him to tell me he knew me somewhere before o, only for him to tell me that he's just hailing me,that i'm trying...ewww ,na so everybody go dey hail me for road? When some gbeborun people see me now, they just tell me i'm having twins...shuoo, i just tire my sis,somebody cannot move around again? e be like say i'll not be moving in the day anymore, make i begin dey hide myself henceforth. At the same time i'm happy we're getting there,God's our muscle and it will surely end in praise for us all!

There are enemies within, that lady must be some close or living close to you for her to know much about you......just don't get yourself worked up.....use your wisdom and let God take control @ lioha

Hospital gave me medela but I never used it. Lansinoch manual I use and tommee tippe electric. Both are good

The breastpump flange goes over the breast and comes in different sizes like 21", 24" or 28" (that's why sometimes it's painful, because it's an uncomfortable fit). The valve is the yellow bit. Both parts are replaceable. I have some spares so if yours doesn't fit, I can trade you.

I'm wondering what is happening at the hospitals nowadays. Is it that doctors and sonographers do not explain anymore to preggie mamas that breech presentation before GA 36 weeks is not abnormal and nothing to fret about or we just love to worry?can you as an adult stay in one position for 9 months?
Breech before week 36 to 37 is nothing to worry about. Don't increase your BP over nothing. Most babies flip back to Cephalic position from 36 weeks upwards.

Scans calculate gestational age based on the fetus weight and development, some fetus grow faster than their actual age some are slower. One of the reasons babies weigh differently. Twins are 2 different fetus their weight can't be exactly the same. And as regards position, they change positions all the time. One needs to worry only when it's 36 weeks.

I have used Medela Manual pump and I say it's the best! I did my research before I bought a manual pump and Medela came out tops. I tried tommee tippee and lasinoh double pumps(electric) and I could be there for 1 hour waiting for a 150ml bottle to get filled up.
In comes my Medela, and I have a full bottle in 3 mins.
Everyone I recommended it too had the same experience.

I had different gestational ages for my twins from the two scans I did and I gave birth to them the same day in fact less than five minutes apart

the second was also breeched as at around ninth month can't remember the week but later turned and it came out head down

Team october,how're we holding on,hope we're getting ready,abeg make una help me chook mouth for my matter o.Yesterday i went for scan at 32wks according to my lmp. The result shows that one baby weighs 2.63kg at 35wks while the other weighs 2.17kg at 33wks 4days. Edd for the first is now 28/9 while the other is 8/10,though i'm not so concerned about these new edds as the very first scan i had gave me one date for both,which is 9/10. My concern is why these discrepancies in weights and ages.Then the one that worries me now is that the presentation for the first is breech lying right oblique,this has got me really worried since. Does it mean all this while i feel heavy down there,they have been sitting down while i'm thinking it's the head. Please what can i do to make bring them to cephalic.....Thanks

I have been cured of my addiction to Aden&Anais (I only have one unopened pack of blankets). And you will reuse those blankets, they're quite durable. They are a bit big for swaddling but you can make it work. It's also pretty good for Naija weather.
