When I had my first baby, the female nurses were just putting their hands without any care I.e no compassion

Imagine checking me and discussing with a co-nurse at the same time while when the male doctor came to check, he was compassionate. He was even petting me so when the female nurse came to check again, I refused and asked her to call the male doctor to come check how far gone I was himself.

I prefer males biko

Don't get me wrong mama,i'm not saying the males are not compassionate but as a ftm i found it weird for different male dr to just be chooking their hand in me and that got me somehow depressed after delivery cos each i remembered, my body always feel somehow, but now i don't mind again i will even be the one to call them say,oya oo come and check oo

God is taking control and hope it will end in praise. I've gone for the scan and the heartbeat was found to the Glory of God but the baby is measuring behind. As against 12weeks, it's 7weeks 5days and my LMP was June 24.
Though I'm still spotting but I'm placed on bed rest and a drug will be administered to stop it. I'm waiting for doctor to attend to me.

I just pray it won't worsen before next scan.

I vividly remembered wen I was pregnant for my 1st child, my hubby downloaded child delivery videos. I was soooo scared of watching it. Even up till nw to watch a video wer a woman gives birth, I still gat the phobia. The funny tin of it all is dt I love watching horror movies and serious action movies where guns must exchange hands buh delivery video, for wia!!!! Infact, if a movie is romantic wthout action I can't watch.

But my lmp and scan is just 2days difference. My lmp is October 22nd and scan is October 24th

My lmp is 17 and one of the early scans i did in the hospital is 19.....2 days apart!!! Nothing wrong with the 2days, just know that it's +/- 2weeks and above all, baby can still decide to show anytime they're ready....the dates are there to give you an idea,leave those dates for God

Lol, 'expectant than the person carrying the load'. My boss is very troublesome, I travel daily to the LGA I work in which is about 1hr15mins drive morning and evening, plus my hubby is in a different state. I didn't have the opportunity to register for ante natal, I was always having pelvic pains that wouldn't allow me walk plus all other stress. I just had to apply the leave before stress would make me born b4 time. Since I left, I started enjoying my preggy very well, I keep praying she gets transferred to another LGA or state cos me can't deal with her wahala when I resume.

We're almost there jare, God will see us all through

The nurses will still chuk hand to check how far dialated you've gone. The only time you can escape it, it's when as you get to the hospital and open leg the nurses kon see baby head.

I would have even prefered the nurses to be female sef, all these male will just be chooking hand anyhow inside somebori....hian. It gives me cold shivers o and it actually made me depressed after my first delivery cos i couldn't imagine someone chooking hand inside me...chai,women dey see something

Mamas pls o quick question. Do i calculate gestational age with scan or LMP? I have 2 weeks difference between both. I'm 34wks now doc and scan tells me 36 which one will i follow pls?

For me i'm using my LMP, scan always calculate ahead (about a week or two ahead) but for me i follow my lmp to calculate on my own whichever dates the baby decides to come is fine,whether lmp or scan

I guess she is just being concerned. I had the same experience in my place of work too, colleagues and even gate man kept giving me the pity look and saying I should go on leave. Well I finally applied for annual leave/maternity leave and it was approved since 28th of August. It's gonna be a long 4 months for me It's well teamie, Oct is just 12 days away.

Yes o, we thank God october is very near but people are even more expectant than the person carrying the load, na wa o.You're lucky to have 4mths, mine is 3mths hence the reason why i will like it to start counting after delivery, even the 3mths sef may not be enough for me talk more of if i now start the leave now....Thanks teamie

Team october,hope we're all coping o. For me i can't cope again,i'm beginning to feel depressed somehow. The kain shame wey catch me today no be small,i went for lunch break and the woman that owns the shop made me ashamed of myself. In as much as i feel she's being concerned,i felt embarrased,i must say. Though the last time i went there she told me i'm too heavy, today now she started lamenting to her customers why should i still be coming to work with such load i'm carrying that my office must be very wicked to still be allowing me come to work, she asked everybody to look at my big belle that how can i be carrying this kain load and still be coming to work and while she was still lamenting, one of her customers added that he always see me at the b/stop every evening after close of work....ewoooo,i don die today! seems everybody in her shop knows me, i didn;t know what to say again,i just started laughing sheepishly but sincerely i was ashamed of myself and i promised myself i won't go there for lunch again......Abeg na only me waka come for this kain thing, i don tire. Good day mamas
Rant time

I cried yesterday in church ehn because of contractions. I woke in the morning very energized, prepared for church, ate,did fine makeup and snapped plenty pishures not knowing I was going to ruin the makeup with tears. After normal Sunday school my body was doing me somehow but I still stayed till praise time, when I was dancing if you see the sharp pain I felt ehn chai!!!!..
I called our pastor's wife outside and she took me to the car to rest, na then the contraction even come start wella . I started crying oh forgetting makeup and fine girl oh, she had to call our church doctor out of the service for him to check me.
He examined me then drove to his house to bring sabultamol and paracetamol for me. After taking the drugs I rested for another half an hour before going back to the church. Yesterday was really somehow for me

Sorry mama, it's gradually coming to an end & it will surely end well for us all. That was how i was having some contractions while in a terrible traffic last thurs, i was having this serious pain around my waist for 10mins off and on, i was just praying it shouldn't be the real thing o,i cannot come and born inside Lagbus,lol! I complained to the dr on sat and he only gave me paracetamol,na wa o! I don tire jorr

We the pregnant sisters are in care Lord, we asks for Hebrew women anointing, anointing of ease, supernatural child birth in Jesus name. We pray we shall not cast our young or labour in vain in this journey. Your word in d book of Isaiah 66 vs 7 says FOR AS SOON AS ZION TRAVAILED,SHE BROUGHT FORTH HER CHILDREN, Ageless God we key ourselves into this word and pray before our pains shall come we will be delivered of our children (Amen)


Yoke breaker Your word also said SHALL I BRING TO THE BIRTH, AND NOT CAUSE TO BRING FORTH? SHALL I CAUSE TO BRING FORTH AND SHUT THE WOMB. Lord u said we should remind u your words and u shall keep them and u also said you honour your words more than your name, we pray all your promises and good covenant concerning childbirth shall come to pass in our life in Jesus name....We shall be save during childbirth, every arrow of confusion fired into the day of our delivery shall backfire in seven folds....We come against every form of stillbirths and premature births in Jesus name, we shall all go into the delivery room and come out rejoicing with our bundle of joy and testimonies. You shall work through Our doctors and nurses on our days of delivery and every medical appointment to favour us in Jesus name,we come against every forms of medical errors and mismanagement...
