My flask keeps water hot for 2 days. By the 3rd day it's still hot but not very hot[/quote

Is it the same Gint or a different one?

I use the vigorous giant flask and it works well for us. Water stays hot in it for over 24 hours. I washed and filled it with hot water for hours, then threw the water out before using ( not sure if that helped) but it has been fine for the past months we've been using it.That's it.

NB; just realised u r a twin mama. A good flask that keeps water hot for long is indispensable for you. You need one. Maybe you should try Haers though it's not as big as the gint flask. How are the twin today? Warm regards to them.

Yes, I actually saw this particular one at the market but didn't go for it cos I thought it's too pricey for something I'm not so sure of so I went for the next one to it( will see if I can still upload the pic).As for haers, I have one I've been using since over two years ago but it's small so I decided to buy something bigger to add to it but got dissappointed. I plan to keep the big flask at home and take the smaller one for outing but right now the purpose has been defeated, it's so frustrating now embarassed. The twins are fine now, thanks for your input

If a flask can't keep water hot for up to 10 hours then that one is not a flask, even my small Milton does 7 hours no issues. Don't throw it away sha, you may still find some other short term use for it

My point exactly, I actually got wonderful reviews about that flask here don't know why mine is different. Thanks all the same

Sorry oh, this may be a stupid question but I've always thought of it, why do you need a flask to be hot for 24 hours? Me I change my water every morning (5am) and breastfeed all night so the last time I use flask water is about 7pm...that's about 14 hours

Is it me that is doing oversabi or keeping hot water for a day is a thing?

Well, it's never a stupid question. The hot water is for both myself and lo, I still drink hot water almost everytime so once water is no more useful for baby, it becomes useful for me at least to help my tummy so I don't just throw the unused water away and I even wish the flask can even last up to 10 hrs in 24hrs self but it doesn't so you see.....I just need ideas on what else it can be useful for or is it just to throw it away since it's not serving that purpose

Good evening wonderful mamas, It's been while. Hope our los are fine, all thanks to God.

Mama zaynie, weldone for the beautiful work you're doing.God bless you & yours.

Please mamas, does anyone has experience with this GInt flask? I observe that the hotness is less than 24hrs, though I'm not sure if the culprit could be not pre-heating at first before use. And if yes, does that mean no remedy to it again? Are there other uses to it, or is it now as useless as the s in isle...please,abeg, ejor, biko, dohh make una help me chook mouth for this matter as money wey I take buy still dey pain me inside my bone marrow.
Note: this is the first time I'm using it since I bought it, the pic has refused to load

BS continued....

So on monday 25sep, I was scared being my first surgery. The Dr came and explain how the procedure will go in Oder to calm me,I said let the will of God be done. They fixed the catheter and I was taken into the theatre, was injected in my spine then from my waist down became numb. They brought out the 1st at 11.10am then the 2nd at 11.15am and we were done but the after pain no be here o. I was shivering after the procedure & couldn't move my legs until much later in the night, I didn't see my babies until the following day...by the 3rd day when they removed the plaster on the incision site, I was told my skin reacted to it I.e it peeled off my skin, I feel so much pain around there too. So they started treatment on it & I was being observed.

4th day in the hospital, it was discovered that twin 1 had mild jaundice, they started treatment on him, put him under the light for some days until he was OK. Then same twin 1 was not feeding well compared to twin 2, the dr later told us that he is hypoglycemic(don't know if I spelt it correctly), a condition whereby baby's blood sugar level is low due to low feeding and if not treated could lead to brain damage, on hearing that I started crying. Baby was placed on drip for about 24hrs, then by the time the drip was removed, baby's hand reacted to the plaster(I wonder if it's a fake plaster since mother & child reacted same way to it) holding down the drip injection, his hands became swollen with water in it, we were advised not to burst the water to avoid infection. I watched everyday as my baby was being punched with needles here & there to get his blood sample so as to run tests on him, I literally cried every day when there's was little/ no improvement. Until one day, I decided to feed my baby myself. Throughout the night I make sure I feed him both breast & formula, even when he's sleeping I wake him & force him to eat and by the following morning when he was tested again, he was certified OK as his sugar level had increased. We later discharged, I just want to give thanks to my heavenly father for fighting my battles & giving us victory eventually!!!

Sorry for my long boring story & sorry for any typos, can't believe I typed all this.......teamoctoberfortestimonies#BSsumbitted#

Hello great mamas, I want to appreciate the God that says yes and no one else can say no for seeing me all through that journey,it can only be God. I wish to also thank you all great mamas for the love, support and encouragement when it all started....God bless us all!

MY BS !

Saturday was my anc and we were preparing to go to the hospital, though I was already tired of the pushing my bump every day to work due to too many stares and comments but that very day immediately I know used the toilet then had my breakfast, I became very weak and uncomfortable just as if I was going to pass out and I was wondering how I will manage to even get to the hospital. After much rest, I managed to get to the hospital with dh (don't know where that strength came from).

On getting to the hospital, i was still very weak that I had to sit under the fan and slept off. It got to my turn to see the Dr, I went in & immediately I got in I told the Dr I was very tired, I handed my recent scan result to him(they had requested earlier on we go for a final scan just to sure of everything), he checked me and immediately he said he has to admit me immediately seeing that I'm already getting weak(me that just came for anc), they will have to observe me till following day then carry out a c-section. He called dh & explained that I'm already 37wks, babies are about 3kg each, making total of about 6kg that already they can survive at that stage and majorly because they were in transverse presentation. He explained that if we try to wait any longer, it's possible that my water will break and the next thing after that is that the baby will come out with hand and by then the surgery might be difficult to carry out so they will need to operate me now, dh agreed and I said let God's will be done though I wished too that everything will end as I'm already tired............. To be continued pls

Sorry sis I wanted to answer you yesterday but got distracted. Yeah BPP scan is usually more expensive cos it's very detailed. The sonographer checks the growing foetus inch by inch to rule out any surprises.

Your doctor ought to have explained to you why he ordered for it! cos it's mostly done for high risk pregnancy or possible high risk .

Anyways you are carrying multiple so that explains it.

Thanks my mummy! My dr never expalined anything to me so i thought it was the normal scans i've been doing infact when i finished the scan, i didn't need anyone to tell me it was different from others cos it took more than 30mins to be through with it and all my body was aching, it wasn't a small smthg!

I think there was an error in your last scan, must have been why the doctor made you do another one.
Placentas hardly ever change only a few times and when they do, they have the reverting to the initial position.
Anterior or posterior shouldn't be a problem as long as its on top(fundal).

I also feel that the chances of your twins turning now at 36weeks is 50/50, highest is they'll go oblique which is a slant form, just hope that when they decide to move, they should go heads down. Put in mind that only the leading twin needs to be cephalic.

Thank you my sis, God bless your ministry

Thanks jare na all this big big grammer dey confuse person, I no know which one be fundo I sha know that posterior is at the back or so.

In another news, my dr sent me for scan in another center,& I'm wondering if the scan is different from the ones I've been doing before as it cost like 10k to do it(ultrasound biophysical profile), fear catch me as them first tell me the price, I just close eyes do am.

Now the main ish is that my babies are in transverse position according to scan & also it now shows the placenta to be anterior. Have been wondering where the error is from as the last scan shows fundo posterior, is it possible for the placenta to change again at this stage & is it possible for the babies to still turn to cephalic. I'm so confused right now,we're 36wks+ already

teamie it's nothing to worry about Fundal posterior means that the placenta is located towards the back of your uterus. Not low lying means that it is not complicating the cervix which is a good thing. A low lying placenta means that it is completely or partially covering the cervix (a condition called placenta previa) which usually requires a c-section delivery. Grading is used to determine the maturity of the placenta. Placentas are graded from 0-3 with 3 being mature which is hopefully at 40 weeks. Placentas naturally age as the pregnancy progresses.

Thanks alot for the detailed explanation, i'm so relieved now
