Why not allow him to retire first before this, you are like telling him with your write-up he needs to leave urgently and canvassing openly not "lobbying" for a particular geopolitical zone, underneath the many lines, these are succintly put and scream louder than the rest! Lahor! allow him leave first before you start.

BusinessThe CBN & NDIC: Stop Gtbank From Profiting From Its "System Anomaly by inaiduna(op): 12:00pm On Mar 18, 2016
A petition against GTBank just saw it in my mail box from change.org, the content of the petition is added below

On February 26 and 27, Nigerians were able to use their GTBank Naira cards to withdraw money and make transactions in dollars at the exchange rate of N199 (one hundred and ninety nine Naira) to the dollar. This was a welcome development, to be able to transact at the market rate instead of the near Black Market (parallel market) rate of about N300 (three hundred Naira) that the Bank had been charging its customers for weeks. So, GTBank customers used their cards for transactions that they probably would not have ordinarily made, encouraged by the slashed rate. However, on February 29, the Bank communicated that it had experienced a "system anomaly" and would "automatically correct all transactions that occurred between ...[the relevant] period and apply the correct or applicable exchange rate at the time of initiation". It then proceeded to debit the accounts of customers who had used their cards and relied on that rate during that period.
Without going into the legal implications of such a transaction, we can consider the ethical implications of a Bank that allows customers to change their positions, many significantly, relying on the "the settlement amount ... advised" by the Bank, only to have their conditions fundamentally changed based on a "system anomaly" of the Bank. In layman's terms, customers are being punished for the Bank's mistake/incompetence/systems error (??), having relied on the Bank's communications and systems.
For months, customers of GTBank have paid more than 50% above the market rate for transactions made in dollars. The explanation is that "The exchange rate applied to International Card transactions is a reflection of the trend in the economy." However, it is not clear how this most recent act of the Bank is a result of the trend in the economy.
Nigerians have been resilient enough as the economy trends in ways that many of us can hardly understand, but we expect our government and its regulatory agencies to protect us from the acquisitiveness of individuals and institutions that seek to exploit innocent citizens and unsuspecting customers, relying on the current economic condition as the basis for their actions.
THEREFORE, WE CALL UPON THE CENTRAL BANK OF NIGERIA TO STOP GTBANK FROM EFFECTING THIS "CORRECTION" AND TO REPRIMAND THE BANK FOR EVEN CONSIDERING SUCH AN UNETHICAL MOVE.
WE CALL UPON THE NIGERIA DEPOSIT INSURANCE CORPORATION TO PROTECT THE INTERESTS OF BANK CUSTOMERS WHO DEPOSIT THEIR MONEY WITH BANKS TRUSTING THAT THEY WILL NOT BE EXPLOITED TO MAKE UP FOR THE BANKS' ERRORS
WE CALL UPON GTBANK TO REVERSE ANY FUNDS THAT HAVE BEEN REMOVED FROM CUSTOMERS' ACCOUNTS, TO ISSUE A PUBLIC APOLOGY TO ALL ITS CUSTOMERS AND TO ASSURE ITS CUSTOMERS AND THE PUBLIC THAT IT WILL NOT REPEAT SUCH AN UNETHICAL PRACTICE IN THE FUTURE.

caleb404:
[b]The Universities your god recently changed VCs did not fall from the sky.

The railways Amaechi the judas of ubima is going round with did not fall from the sky.

The almajiri schools did not fall from the sky.

The increase of minimum wages and NYSC allowances was in lieu with oil price increase.

The agricultural transformation under the "ineffectual buffoon" did not happen by miracle.

The increase in power and electricity immediately after the elections that zombies attributed to body language was actually as a result of investments and efforts.

The revival of the auto-industry in Nigeria where you have moribund car companies re-opening shops in Nigeria did not happen because of a man's body language!

Keep telling lies, lies, lies, and more lies, till it eventually sounds truthful to your ears. Just 11 months of Buhari and the whole country is in comatose. Zombies are really zombies.

You guys keep telling the narrative of oil price boom, yes but tell the whole story. Oil boomed and Boko Haram boomed as well, there was an increase in security vote, and more funds was allocated to the military, (if properly utilised is a story for another day), but yes, more funds went to the military. Are you not even ashamed that 11 months into Buhari's presidency, the name of Jonathan keeps propping up everyday? Does it not tell you something??

Should i talk about the airports built? Or the roads? Or the commencement of the 2nd Niger Bridge? Is it the Maritime school almost near completion which Amaechi recently cancelled? My guy please earn your pay by all means but do not take everyone for fools. Tell your stories to the mosquitoes please

Poems For ReviewI See Time by inaiduna(op): 1:27pm On Feb 18, 2016
Before event could be internalized
Between frame of intervals
Aeons ago unheard of
Time was in gestation
Unknown if it would ever be born

Finally time began
And time came of age
Gave birth to instances
Some too minute for reason (nano second)
Other within scope of reason (hours and days)
And some outright out of scope (light years)
Now time is old

Eternity is being conceived
But not for us to witness
In our present form
For we are a product of time and space
Logically and unarguably finite

Body, soul and spirit
But time and space can have the body
Let eternity be born with the spirit
And immortality the soul
Still I ponder what gave birth to
And was before time.

As at yesterday I thought it was ignorance on the alake's part, now I understand better, he does not want to accept the truth from Esogban, no rather he seek something else to clear their doubt on the state of throne in Benin by hearing the Oba of Benin speak... I will advice that all well meaning Edo sons and daughters desist from this thread. There seem to be a "conspiracy" floating somewhere.

CultureRe: "Ooni Of Ife Is Oba Of Benin's Son,Not In The Same Class"-Bini Palace To Alake by inaiduna(m): 9:48am On Feb 09, 2016
The Esogban never said that what he simply said was taking the title of Oba by the yoruba rulers is pretty recent, as recent as 1950 and he gave his evidence with the meeting held in Benin around 1942 of western traditional rulers that none of them was answering "Oba" then that it was eleko, alake, oluibadan etc or so, please do re-read the article before you misquote him!
hupernikao:

So i guess the Chief need to recheck that statement

grin grin...And where do you think your Oduduwa comes from the sky I guess?
OAFMods:
I hope no miscreants will turn up to start wailing on this thread. The word "oba" might be alien to the Yoruba as confirmed by the name of each monarch stated by the chief. It's an adaptation signifying the post of the kingship instead of having to cram the title of the several kings that rule YorubaLand.

Lexicon are borrowed from different culture for several reason so the Benin chief should cool down for Jesus. If there's any superiority contest at play the regret is that of the chief for being a chief in a once great Benin empire To becoming a chief at the lowest ebb of its sagacity. The chief seem to forget that while the Oba of Benin son rules over Eko the son of Oduduwa has been crown the king of Benin long before that.

Please define LIFE.
We can only define life from the attributes of life itself as we were told in elementary integrated science, MR NIGER D, I believe is the de-facto standard for life here on Earth, there must be some form of MOVEMENT, RESPIRATION is required, NUTRITION the "form" has to feed, IRRITABILITY it has respond to its environment, GROWTH an irreversible increase size or form, EXCRETION there must be a metabolic process i its internal workings, It must be able to bring forth it kind to fit into the environment it finds itself REPRODUCTION, lastly it has a time span to exist in this environment, it is finite...
