Good people of Nairaland, please I need your help, I don't really know if this is the right section to post this... A man sent me a friend request on facebook and I accepted, his profile said he's from Amsterdam, Netherlands. So he asked me of some of my info and said we should be good friends and he asked if I have an apple phone so that we'd do iChat and I told him I don't that am just a student in the uni and that it's expensive to afford by the average Nigerian. So he said he'd buy one and send for me, I told him, what about if he sends the money then I buy it here but he said HE WAS BANNED FROM SENDING MONEY ACROSS TO AFRICA. Then I said if he can ship it no problem. Now, this evening he told me he has sent it together with a laptop and that in the morning I should call the number on a receipt he sent to me so that I'd communicate with the waybill agent. I'm feeling as if it's a scam and they may request for money from me(although I've promised myself that I won't spend N5 on it) He has only 2 facebook pictures and his friends were hidden Below is the receipt he sent, do u think its real? cc: Dominique, FOD

b3llo:I think that's their standard. If anyone can't cope with it, I think the person should find another place |
In the course of the Healing and Deliverance Service today in Dunamis International Gospel Centre Headquarters Abuja, Dr. Paul Enenche addressed the recent killings in Plateau State Nigeria in his typical ferocious manner. In his words, "Everybody who is a lover of freedom in Nigeria, rise and speak. Rise and act. Where an agent of the devil can sit on a judgement seat and sentence five people to death for killing a terrorist in Self Defence on their father’s land. I want to know how many people have been arrested so far for Killing the 2 Reverend Fathers and the Parishioners. How many people have been arrested so far for killing the people (all over the Plateau region)? IF YOU HATE WHAT IS HAPPENING, SPEAK OUT. We are waiting to hear the voices of Human Rights Activists. In previous administrations, at the tiniest thing they will all rise (and gather) at The Eagles’ Square. WHERE ARE YOU NOW? Everybody has been intimidated into silence; some charmed into irrelevance. Blood is flowing like water. People are dying like flies and everybody is mute... Somebody came and said that they are responsible for the killings in Plateau State and it is because the people stole 300 cows. So, they killed Human beings for cows; that is if it is true. And there is an Authority in the Land and the person who said it is alive and walking alive. That is demonic hypocrisy!! But there is a God who rules in the affairs of men. ...I have bad news for every Jihadist in Power. By the Power that opened the eyes of the blind, made the lame and the paralysed to walk; whether you are from Sudan, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, anywhere you came from; wherever your conspiracy came from, I am here to announceYOU CAME TOO LATE. In the days of the Jihadist invasion in Nigeria in the early 19th Century you couldn’t overrun the Country. You couldn’t overrun this country all through this years. Around Independence you couldn’t.Now that the anointing is the heaviest in this country. YOU CAME TOO LATE!!! And every one in Places of authority and in Security forces; because i heard that they were in a place(in Plateau) and they were operating in a place for many hours before the security forces arrived. I heard this because I spoke to a CAPRO Official (Calvary School of Ministry based in that town) this morning and he said "the people started telling each other 'let us move. Security is about to come.’ " That means there are informants in the security that are part of them. THE LORD BURY YOU AND YOUR GENERATION! The moment they left, the security people arrived saying 'Come out Come out; we are here'. Houses had been burnt and people had been killed. Some were set on fire in their house. It is delusion of grandeur for any group of people to think that millions of christians in Nigeria will suddenly disappear. It is a symptom of madness. By the Prophetic and Apostolic Mantle of God on my life… All of you who want this nation to burn and to be Dechristianised; going about with ethnic and religious cleansing: If I be a man of God; If it was the anointing of God that made the lame to walk just now and made the mad to be healed just now… If it was the anointing; whether you are in Authority or in the security; anywhere you are, WE SHALL SEE THE END OF YOU. YOU SHALL NOT SEE OUR END. YOU SHALL NOT SEE THE END OF NIGERIA YOU SHALL NOT SEE THE END OF CHRISTIANITY. YOU SHALL NOT SEE THE END OF THE MIDDLE BELT. WE SHALL SEE THE END OF YOU. A Democratic,Secular, Peaceful Nigeria shall see your end!…" Source: Church Gist https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1378670585610142&id=444807728996437&_rdr cc: OAM4J, lalasticlacla, mynd44,

some top notch will demand for 4.0 and above |
NnamdiEducamia:its possible, I'm in the same school and there are results worse than that |
Amakababe:even having D in all is still the same thing in the 10 8 8 stuff. If you have lost it already, then there's no way out, you A's will only improve hour GP and stop you from being sent home |
he had enough time to read hard na. 4 extra years to read aside the 6yrs of school |
your post and your topic are contradicting |
Amakababe:ouch! sorry about that, it's not the end. there's always a way out for anyone that fails to give up. Try all you can and make your CGPA to be above 1.0 at the end of second semester so you are not sent home. Maybe after getting to a new department, you can still settle to rewrite JAMB if you still want Mech.Eng, so far you don't give up on your dreams you can still make it |
Amakababe:you know the three MATs (111, 112, 121) are 3 Credit Units =9 plus the two STA of 2credit units =4 4+9=13 so out of this 13 you must make 10. ie if you are having an F it must be just 1 of the three 3credit unit (either 111, 112, 121). If u have 2 Fs, you are affected already. same applies for the PHY (113, 100, 123, 126)=10credit units, u must make 8 ie u can fail only one which is 2 unit(either 100, or 123) and for CHM(111, 112, 191, 121) = 10 credit units. if u must fail any one it should only be one of the 2unit - either 112 or 191) So... if u failed MAT111, you must not fail MAT112 and MAT121, STA117 and STA127 (if u failed any two from the MAT/STA category, you are affected. same applies to the CHM and PHY |
demobaba1:I stay off campus, missed some lectures (studied them myself) because going for lectures is waste since I'd stay at the back and won't hear the lecturer - because the whole engineering are together for year 1 and I can't leave my house by 6am for 9am lecture because going by 7:30am you would sit at the back still. and I made a strong 2.1 in the same Engineering, same school _ I never d friends though except my lodge mates. I even know some off campus guys with 4.7+ |
Amakababe:you for attend tutorials na and then study any topic wey they lecture and you no understand (and meet others if need be). u really need to work hard/smart This semester. Eat past questions as much as your brain can take and attend tutorials (find just one and attend: don't attend NIFES today, FCS next week, RCCG upper week etc so u don't get yourself confused by different methods employed by different tutors) ---the space between each course lecture is always one week, never allow yourself enter the second week class without having understood the lecture of the previous week. If u can't get the help u need in any course, GOOGLE is your friend and YouTube tutorials are also okay. just give it all it takes and trust God, he can help you- |
durentchigozie:thats just first semester GPA. I think with serious studying it's possible |
DanXplore:thank you so much sir, I really appreciate your time. I'd try all my possible best to do as you have said and by God's grace I'll do well. thanks alot for opening my eyes to somethings. cheers |
Fourwinds:☝️ |
what If you have forgotten? |
IMPOSSICANT! (in Dr Paul Enenche's voice) |
DanXplore:wow, nice one sir. I'm a chemical engineering student (freshman) in your Alma mater. Please how is the course here and how's life after school for a B. Eng ChE |
ElsonMorali:Benue is Middle Belt. Cultured entirely different The core Northern states. visit and u will see immodesty and everything you see in the south |
chinchum:100 level is not even Engineering yet, they offer same courses with School of Pure Sciences, Engineering starts 200level. The exams are even CBT multiple choice so she having 0.2 means her destiny may not be science inclined.. but what do I know? |
damtan:they won't even accept her, that's the issue. in Futminna CGPA of 0.99 after 100 level, you are going home. Not having at least 10 8 8 out of the 12 10 10 credit load of MAT, CHM and PHY, you are leaving Engineering. to be blunt with the truth, I don't think she'd make it with that 0.2(gosh!) this second semester is even a bit tougher with calculus and organic chemistry .. I just pray she do extremely well this semester for her own good |
Amakababe:do u mean 2.0 or zero point two? Which school if I may ask? |
Dahunsi228:his course is even in this second semester not first semester |
I heard its Yoruba movie. I don't hear Yoruba so |
no oil and gas coy. u try |
were u paid? |
dabolaji:from the N1600 op said, it won't be far from nnu |
