Please my people, I'm currently filling the EOI. They are asking for the Reference Number/Receipt number for the skill assessment. EA didn't put any refence number on the assessment outcome and the receipt has many numbers on it. Please anybody that has gone through this stage should please help.
It is your EA ID that is required

I couldn't find my Msc course on the SOL, however I was able to find my BEng (Materials Engr) on the SOL. Can I go ahead to pick Materials Engr? I do not have any cognate experience in this area apart from my 6 months IT and some project works, though I've learnt that EA can assess one even without experience.

Another worry is my observation from the Anzsco website on this my occupation DIBP SOL list. Or did I misunderstand the Anzsco site?

Thanks everyone![/quote]You hv answered ur 1st question you self, get assesed as materials engineer.

Materials Engineer is on SOL and still has about 40.1% for this current year. I've nit seen this your site before ooo but you can check the popular one anzscosearch.com

please boss, what and what does a dependent need to provide in order to claim points to make up points for the primary applicant? It's just ielts? Or will he assess his qualifications too?
The dependant must be your spouse
1. Less than 50yrs
2. Competent English, IELTS @least 6 in each part of the test or equivalent of other English exam accepted by DIBP.
3. Positive skill assessment, but nominated occupation most be on the same list as the primary applicant. I.e if your skill is on SOL then partners skill most also be on SOL.

hello house, is proof of fund required for 190 for a single applicant?
It depends on the state sponsoring. Only a few states asks for it. You can check the requirement of the state you are applying to.

sir bellong, I really appreciate what you're doing in this thread may God bless you richly. please help, I have been trying to write my cdr.since I graduated 2015 till now I have been involved in casual job and I'm going for nysc by May. I'm thinking of using my 6months internship, my 4 months seminar project and my 5months Final year project work, all during my bachelor's degree as career episode 1-3.can i include my nysc as what I'm currently doing since I will be submitting the cdr during period I will be serving or i should exclude it.your response is highly appreciated. thanks
The CDR is a demonstration of your engineering capabilities. From your description above you already have 3 projects to describe 1. Internship 2. Final yr prj. 3. Seminar project.
That will be fine if you can demonstrate it to EA's acceptable level on what you're trying to be assesed for.
Leave NYSC out it is starting in May, definitely you don't know what you will be doing yet. Don't complicate issues.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the Love!, my prayer is that this day will come quickly for everyone looking forward to it.

@BADNEAT, it was just regular though you meet the minimum criteria, industry expert stuff, but I will advice you work on your CV well if possible get an expert to re-write for the purpose of Victoria application, seems you are judged on how well you sell yourself through the CV, at least that's what I could gather on expert forum

@ Bolaobby We might just be on the same flight.

@mamajaz, Happy Birthday to our comic relief on this platform, may the Lord bless and keep you! and most importantly your testimony is on the way.

@Bnimz, funny enough its GSM Adelaide not Brisbane.

@Alphadoor, she finished from OOU, ICT BUS ANALYST

Sorry i cant mention everyone, just tried answering those who have asked questions, but seriously I appreciate the Love.
Not been able to concentrate @ work..........

God is great!!!

It's my turn to testify........

So i received the grant letter for myself, wifey and son this morning 5.41 am. cant express the feeling
We decided we will be migrating to Canada in August last year and booked the IELTS exam for the 10th of October 2016. In September while going through the Canadian thread I came across this thread and we eventually decided to give both a shot. by end of September wifey and I somehow agreed Aussie will be better, so we jettisoned Canada. Every information was gotten on this thread, in fact I only got to know of expat forum through this place. Everyone here is wonderful, the Chief Bellong (I know you said we should not, but you are a blessing to everyone of us), every other person that has made it a point of duty to give information here I salute you all and say a big God bless you. I pray deeply this morning that all our testimonies will come soon in Jesus name.
So here is my timeline;

20th March CO Contact- Polio Certificate for 3 of us(though already uploaded)- re uploaded and pressed IP button.

It's been a great journey, the same day my EA outcome landed, there was invite, couldn't meet up,it was frustrating. Just yesterday i was reading Jamson's post, we got EA outcome on the same day.

But God did it!!!

Tesbie:
Good day all, i am a complete novice in this area and will love to be adviced by the gurus in the house.
I have HND in Biochemistry and a PGD in Education
I have a 3yrs+ plus experience teaching Basic Science and Biology in a secondary school.
I am interested in moving to Australia for work.
I am in urgent need of expert advice.
Please any pointers/advice in the right direction will be greatly appreciated.
Once again I greet YOU all the Bros and Sis' in the house.
Secondary school teacher look more like you do now.
It is a Skill 1 occupation but i.e a Bachelor degree is required or 5yrs experience. But you can send an email to the assessing authority on overseasquals@aitsl.edu.au. explain your qualifications and present occupation and see what their response is.
You can also read more on their website- http://www.aitsl.edu.au/assessment-for-migration.

There might also be other options for your Biochemistry.

The madam can sure be the primary applicant. The PRs become independent once they are obtained by each family member. The madam would just need to validate her visa like other family members and ensures she's back in Australia before the initial 5-years expires (one expert on expat forum even said up to two days before expiry). In addition, if a couple dissolves their marriage after getting PR (even before activation), their PRs are still valid and independent.

This is what i gleaned from expat forum and I stand to be corrected.
Same here

Once more thanks man!
Bros, seriously there's no need for the name calling. This forum is filled with people who's got each others back. Bellong is a selfless person who takes out time to give information and render help to people, same applies to several others I can't begin to mention.
I joined this thread on page 66, every information I have emanated from here including references to other sites.
I hv accessed with EA, even the least of information on how to get documents notarized which I have never done before I found out here.
So if people are telling you to read through it is because they know and are sure the information you need is here.
Moreso you are presently researching and we believe you should know better.
No offence bro, but please relationship is key, you can't call everyone names and be free to find assistance from the same people you call bluff.

Hello House,

I have just been contacted by GSM Brisbane. They asked for:
Evidence of change of name for all the other names (for me and accompanying applicants) mentioned in my application and
PCC for these names.

Can we use court affidavits for the name change?
Can one PCC serve for up to 3 names of one person?
Also can they give a PCC (Nigeria) without an international passport (copy) for each of the names?
I think @jamson got a PCC for his spouse with change of name documents. I want to believe you can do the same, go to alagbon with evidence of name change, the PCC you have and your international passport.
As per proof, I want to believe you have affidavit to show for the name change, get it notarized and also if you published in the papers you can attach that as evidence.

please am an doing a masters research in aussie already but wanna apply for the PR. i have engineering undergraduate cert from naija FUTO
You can ask your questions. There are several people who have a positive EA assessment that can be of help. What discipline is your engineering degree? Have you checked if it is on the SOL or CSOL?

Start preparing for English test, you need IELTS 6 in each part for EA assessment.

There's virtually every needed information for anyone trying to assess with EA on this platform, if you don't mind just try and read through this thread then ask questions on areas you need further clarification.

Do i stand any chance pleasehuh
You could depending on what route you choose.

You could assess your Engr certificate based on your undergraduate projects, that's what's refered to as CDR.

Write English test and aim for the maximum score.

Your age could also assist.

Please check the details on the 1st page. Read further there are several information for engineers available on this thread.

Upon submission you can download a break down of the points allocated to you. Look at it and you can identify where the mistake is from.

Please i need help of someone who got positive assessment by ACS for ANZSCO 261111: ICT BUSINESS ANALYST to help with the job schedule.

A friend on this platform got a negative assessment based on job description from ACS this morning and i want to know if he can reapply for the same occupation or does he need to change the occupation.

10yrs work experience was assessed as 0yr. He urgently need help on what to do next.

I wasn't expecting the negative assessment he got at all.
Job description needs to match the ANZSCO for anyone to get a positive assessment from any of the assessing authorities. My got a positive assessment for the same job code. You can send a PM so I can share the JD she got from her office.

As regards re-applying please see below extract from ACS assessment guideline;

Hello house!

I just heard back from EA today.......I'm being asked to upload a scanned copy of my Tax Return.

Please people who have scaled through this stage, is this document compulsory? I have already submitted Bank statement, pension account details, and payslip for all my work experience.

If compulsory, please how do I go about getting it?

This is quite urgent as I need to revert ASAP.
Please check with ur HR. So far it is being deducted from your salary, then it must be remitted to the government.
I hv an electronic tax card issued by LASG, scanned it then got them to print the tax records which they sent to me by mail.
If u work in Lag and u don't hv d card ask ur HR for your tax ID then you can go online and send them an email. They are very efficient and will respond to your request quickly.

Pls house i need urgent response
Am in the process of submitting my document to EA for assessment, but
1) i dont know the address (subject. Or. Heading) to use for my EMPLOYMENT REFERENCE

Engineers Australia
Engineering House
11, National Circuit
Barton ACT 2600
Australia.

2)The EA email address to send my document to
It is done online, download the MSA online application user guide from EA's website, it also gives details on how you'll register online

3)The fees to be payed and the payment method.
I think it is about AUD700 for MSA CDR and about AUD1020 with relevant skill assessment, it can done through your card or wired transfer. Details also available on EA's website and the MSA online application user guide.
Thanks.

Yes you need CDR for assessment with EA. Based on popular opinion, you're better off with EA than TRA.

Is it possible to control who they can direct such mail to. There are so many bureaucracy in my place of work and the people at the top does not even understand my job schedule and role.
Don't want anybody to throw sand sand into my garri ooo.
The emails are @ company's domain and not free emails.

Seriously, is it possible to control who they contact? Particularly when the reference letter carries the name, emal and phone number of the contact person in HR.
