Ace Nigerian reggae musician, Majekodunmi Fasheke, popularly known as Majek Fashek, was the center of attraction at the Christmas Carol organized by the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) yesterday in Abuja. According to reports, the legendary singer came on stage after pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo made a call for people to rededicate their lives to God.Majek Fashek visits COZA Majek Fashek also sang on stage as the pastor hugged him affectionately. A witness Rymsta Ray Ekwu who was present at the Carol, wrote; Coza Christmas Carol was literally beyond words for me.. Pastor made a call for people to rededicate their lives to God and Majek Fashek came out as the choir sang "Redemption Song". He even did a verse from the song too! This moment right here left me in tears. Love is the greatest force on earth.. Without it, we are nothing. It doesn't matter what you've been through and are still going through. However, the attitude of nigerians towards payment of electricity Bills especially those in the villages is not encouraging nd will continue to hinder the progress of. Discos Not just those in the village. Even some educated people don't pay electricity bills. My house is a 4 flat residence here in Lagos with over average electricity supply. My neighbors do not pay bills but they can run gen overnight if there's no supply of electricity. We really need to change our attitude if we really want power. |

Dear E- Family,
We (Son, Wifey & I) arrived Melbourne on the 25th of May having left Lagos on the Tuesday 23rd. We booked the flight through IOM (certainly the best anyone can have now) 980k compared to the 2m we would have paid if we booked directly. Booked accomodation through airbnb prior to leaving Nigeria. Slept throughout Thursday, Finally met @Tysho who has been of tremendous help to us, she came to pick us on Friday, drove us to the bank where we opened bank accounts, stayed till we finished and took us to where we did medicare and centerlink registrations too. She has since been our godmother here giving us guidance on what to do. I call her everytime and she's never tired or rendering assistance from time to time. It's amazing that someone I have never met before and only just contacted here after getting the grant will rise to our help this much..... we appreciate you Sis. Also finally spoke with the Cheif himself- Bellong, we have always only communicated via mail, a very selfless man still providing the usual guidance. Went to the clinic for son's immunization records update, they informed us today he will be taking 3 more shots of immunisation. Will provide more updates on accomodation, job search and others as time goes on. |

Imagine! Asking for Polio certificate of all things, even for our 6-month old son. Thought they know no one completes medicals without one.
I'm attaching immunization card for the child since polio vaccines are not given at his age, hope this is fine? You can get the polio certificate for your son. Just take him with his immunisation card and passport to port health with the fees. They will issue one for him once they see he has taken and they can choose to give another one, usually the say you can have it more than once. |

Hopez456: The contractor handling that part of the road should be held accountable, several accidents have occurred over the past week due to one way diversion without division. this is not the case with J. Berger that divide it's own part, that gives no room for excess over speeding or overtaking. RCC should act fast it's becoming unbearable. I quite agree with you. RCC handling of that section is very bad/poor. Several lives have been lost in that portion of the reconstruction compared to the one handled by JB. I think the government should compel them to use the divide to demarcate the road. Though those public bus drivers and some private drivers too can be so impatient too. |

kMan2204: Please for those that have done EA assesment
The projects I used in my career episodes are from my internship (after graduation) and full-time employment with my present place of work. For the full-time employment, I have all documentary evidence such as bank payslips, employment letter, tax records e.t.c. However, for the internship period, I only have the letter of employment (signed and stamped) from the company, since it was kind of "free" as I was there to learn at the time before the employment opportunity opened up.
can I go on with the Assessment with these documents? You don't need to provide documents for internship or voluntary work. I did same I just showed that period on my CV as internship and also stated it in my CPD. EA never asked for documents for that particularly CE |

Thanks You need to ask your employers for your tax ID, once you have that go to www.lasg-ebs-rcm.com/ and follow the steps there to log in. If you have any challenge, they have an online chat online icon below the page, just bring it up and chat with their rep. it is fast and efficient. |

Alphadoor: while submitting my EOI for 190
It keeps calculating 65pts instead of 60pts (state nomination inclusive).
I feel its the work experience (4 years 9 months), but ACS deducted 4 years as "skill met date". Hope this wont be seen as false info or will DIBP be regularizing when i get to that bridge
insights pls When entering details of your employment, the period deducted by ACS as Skill met date should be ticked as not relevant. Please correct this. |

Jeezy: Hello my people, I am at the stage where i need to get my credentials and work experience evaluated by the Australian Computer Society. They require reference letters from my previous places of employment. I had previously obtained similar letters from my three previous employers for a Canada application. Here's my dilemma: Given that the information required by the ACS is the same, can i submit the letters I got from my previous employers (addressed to the Canadian Immigration Authority) for the assessment by the Australia Computer Society? Has anyone experienced something similar? Bros, apart from ensuring it is addresses to Australia and not Canada or using to whom it may concern instead, please ensure the Job description matches that of the Anzsco you are nominating, both DIBP AND ACS have given job descriptions to each occupation and ACS states that there has to be about 80% match to get a positive assessment, please ensure this is done and don't just use a generic letter.... It is very important. |

kMan2204: Thanks so much. Please I'm just confused about something. While writing my CER for the project I carried out within my six months of being employed , as parts of the requirements for writing the reports, I stated that I am employed in the company and also stated my post. So, won't EA want to verify this as work experience, and will this not disqualify me from using the standard CDR assessment (without work experience)? You can show it in your CV and CPD as voluntary work/internship, but if you report it as a post study work/project, you will require a letter from the organization. |
