I think if u're going mainly for storage/ram capacity and whatnot, u should just go for the normal 12, not note as I think it would serve u just well(as what it packs should serve the everyday user) but if u care about phone feel, screen quality, and slightly better performance and camera quality although I feel the difference would not be phenomenal, u should go for the note 12. Although android is known to become heavy with every passing year so it's better to get one with a higher ram capacity although the ram type/quality of the note 12 beats that of the regular 12 nevertheless, I feel it would not be phenomenal
