If that's the case, ANPP can't be called a regional party too because they got over 7million votes spread across different states in Nigeria. They even had senators from Ogun and Oyo in 2003-007
ANPP also has visible structure as well as ACN too.
Anpp was never in my village neither was Acn
That's what a national party is. Who wins president with 7m votes? Buhari has scored more than that with different parties but couldn't win the presidential election. The people that formed the Apc knew what they wanted to build because non of them had the national spread to win the presidential election against the pdp.

The key words here is NATIONAL SPREAD.

You're the novice. Talk about Shekarau and Ganduje too grin
The example I gave you was the political rivalry between shekarau and kwankwaso. There's no historical political feud between ganduje and shekarau.

Agbegbaorogboye:
Mtcheew. And do you realise PDP is now more or less a sectional party with stronghold in the SE/SS?
PDP does not have any state in the NC and the only state it has in the NW is a product of defection. The other one zamfara, came through the courts.
So claiming that because a party is sectional or not (which is a dynamic thing) determines whether a candidate will be good for it or not is simplistic. It doesn't work that way.
You can't call PDP a sectional party just because they control states in certain regions. Go back to the last elections and see their performance in terms of figures. The PDP is a national party because they have visible structures in every polling unit in Nigeria no matter how remote. Buhari made PDP lose in most part of the north. In 2023 there'll be no Buhari on the ballot. There's no sense in arguing about PDP being a national party. PDP is the only national and capable party with the spread win the presidential election.

What exactly is your endgame? Is It the removal of Buni or the candidacy of Tinubu.
Because I expect you to know nothing changes if Buni exits and another buhari puppet takes over.
That's why I was shocked at why you guys were rejoicing that Abu Bello became chairman. One of you even pasted a photo of him saying he's for Tinubu. At least you all should know now if you don't before that he's for el-rufai. Those who know are aware that Bello is El-rufai's political student. So what exactly does 26th convention do for you?
I really don't have anything against Buni. I also don't think Bello offers any undue advantage to Tinubu. My grouse is that Buni doesn't seem like someone who is keen on conducting a congress. For me anything that will speed up the process and gets the congress off the way is just fine. Let's have a substantive EXCO. This cecpc has dragged on for too long already and time is short looking at the timetable of INEC.
But again legal traps have to be avoided in the process.

But Kwankwaso left PDP to APC in 2014 grin. Make it make sense bro. You see say na you be the novice abi? See, GEJ was their common enemy, they united to deal with him. That is politics. Ganduje and the Shekarau wey dey at logger heads, they still dey same party. So what were you saying? Oga, admit it. Politically, you be F9. Anyone who feels there can be permanent enemies in politics does not know anything in politics. Politics is dynamic. This was a quote by Tinubu concerning Buhari years ago. But guess who worships Buhari now grin
Hope you don't have problem with understanding? In 2014 shekarau was in anpp that joined to form apc while kwankwaso was in pdp. Immediately kwankwaso decamped from pdp to apc, shekarau moved to pdp and was made minister of education. Prior to the 2019 election when kwankwaso decamped to pdp, shekarau moved back to apc immediately. U be novice. Go and read.

Did you read where the portion of the law says, "--- in any meeting" Any meeting that a major decision is going to be made INEC must be invited. You guys like interpreting laws to suit your purpose, same way they did and lose all positions in Zamfara and Rivers State. Common obedient to the rule of law becomes a difficult mountain to climb for you politicians but always looking for shortcuts.
Is English language so difficult for you?
In any meeting where exco members will be elected, congress , governing board. If any of these three things are not the reasons for the NEC meeting INEC has no business there.

Betrayal is part of politics. So expect more of it. Wike interest can never be better captured in an Amaechi led APC presidency than a PDP presidency. Let's face reality and stop fantasizing.

Well I've seen it but I think it's the right thing to do to avoid legal traps. However, I also think what happened has already made the necessary impact on the process to speed up plans for the convention and create the necessary awareness. Buni or Bello no one will exceed 26th of March.

There's simply no fact to back that up. I don't know how you are able to decipher eras from another. But the reality is that there is no facy on ground to back that up. Elections are done same day all over the country. So I don't see how losing in a particular place will affect all other places. Besides, don't be surprised if Amaechi emerges candidate of APC, a lot of stakeholders in Rivers will drift to his side knowing what they stand to gain from his ascension to office. Don't be surprised if Wike himself starts giving him tacit support. Politics is more dynamic than what you're painting. Let me remind you OBJ lost the SW in 1999 only to win overwhelmingly in 2003.
Why is it so difficult for you guys to understand very simple politics? This is a game of number not emotions.
I ask you a simple question: what was the name of the opposition party to PDP between 1999 and 2014 when APC was formed?

Acn?
Apga?
Anpp?
Cpc?
All other parties were just sectional parties. PDP was the only national party in Nigeria. They were the only opposition to themselves in that era. They could gamble anything and go Scot free. They can't try it now that another national party, the Apc has been birthed. How is this subject to any debate?

Two candidates campaigning simultaneously under one party? So what will INEC do in the circumstance? Leave the space for candidate blank until supreme court makes a pronouncement?

Can't we just end this madness in the judiciary? If a matter has been handled by a high court,it should not be handled again by another high court. They should go to the higher courts. Well, atiku donated his jet for the campaign. It was in the news then and Atiku mentioned it in 2019 campaigns and no one countered it.

Obasanjo lost his state too and still emerged president. If we are to follow your logic, then Osinbajo is also automatically ruled out since he lost his PU in Lagos in 2019. However, there's no such rule in any party or our laws. So I guess it's just your personal bias.
My guy the game is tougher now. You can't present a candidate that can't command votes from his domain. Na better flogging be dat. That obasanjo era don pass oo. The PDP then had no major opposition. It was basically PDP and others,so they had the latitude to gamble with anything. Nobody can try that rubbish now. They'll be beaten home and away.

It’s obvious that this judge is under Oyetola’s payroll to ensure that PDP’s candidate is a weak buffoon so that his victory would be easy.

Ademola Adeleke is PDP candidate and Oyetola is a goner.

Tinubu urine cannot save him.
Just shut up your dirty mouth forever. Did I not tell you yesterday that I was going to catch you very soon. It's just less than 24hrs,here you are. You remember what you said yesterday concerning court orders? You said it doesn't matter how it was gotten but must be obeyed. Please keep quiet and obey, no complaints,no noise. He flew in Atiku's jet not Tinubu's.
I agree that Tinubu won more votes for buhari in the South than any other southerner. Yet, the southerner who took the biggest political risk is actually amaechi. Just think for a moment of they lost to Jonathan in 2015. Who do you think will be the biggest casualty of that war? Till today, Amaechi is seen as a traitor and a persona non grata in his native South South. It is also common knowledge that a lot of funds came from his state. So he would have probably been in jail now if APC lost in 2015.
Also, Tinubu's SW gave buhari less votes in 2019 than 2015 which shows a declining popularity for him (Buhari).
I can confidently tell you that Tinubu's private jet was used by Buhari in 2015 campaign.
As for decline in 2019 votes that's because of the poor performance of Buhari in his first tenure. But Tinubu still made his influence count. Buhari's poor performance made it tough for his foot soldiers but those on ground in their various domains still delivered. Amaechi is not on ground at home. Wike has drowned him politically. In this era you don't give ticket to people who can't win in their domains.

Again, in that letter......Buni was allegedly urging APC members to support Bello for the March 26 National Convention.

This is someone that told INEC that March 26 was for Zonal and never made mention of anything about National Convention.

It was either backdated or just fake.
I never knew convention is this impossible to conduct. Lol ....... APC is teaching us something new. Very disgraceful!
