Bagehot: If Tinubu is allowed to contest the primaries, He would win. If he wins the primaries, the presidency would be a shoo-in for him. The best place to stop him is to not allow him contest the primaries . . .
Not sure if I like him for presidency, but I admire how He has grown to become a colossus. I'm not sure the party can stop him from contesting though. |

“If the opposition had had the presence of mind to join Mai Mala Buni as party to the suit, we would all have been done for. Our aggrieved members and our opponents have surely learnt one of two things from this.
seunmsg senatordave1 ejimatic kahal29 indispensable85 Seerade029 Penguin2 Malami is the major problem of APC. He has the ears of the ignorant buhari and he's misleading the old man in connivance with some self centered and excessively ambitious governors into ratifying their several illegalities. Alot of members have been crying on this since last year but the ignorant dictator chose to threaten them with his office from not going to court on the issue. They'll deceive him again into ratifying another illegality. They've continued to deceive the ignoramus into extending their illegal caretaker committee. They should continue into oblivion. |

fergie001: See, there is little that can be done rn. The horse has left the stable.
They sized the South up with the 2019 election and saw what the "Kardashians" could do for them.
You need 24 States to be President, can a Southerner without Buhari and the North's support get 24 States? Let's be sincere here.
My fear isn't in getting a Southerner, just that they will get a Northerner from the South. Lol.......... your last sentence though. |
Politics › Re: Ondo: Akeredolu Wins In Supreme Court, Jegede's suit dismissed by Indispensable85(m): 11:54pm On Jul 28, 2021 |
fergie001: Why not? Any candidate of the APC has Buhari's blessings and will win very well in the North.
On his own, he will do nothing. Seriously it doesn't make any sense to return power to the north again especially seeing how buhari has fared thus far. I personally don't care about the party I just want power away from the north in the next 8yrs from 2023. Buhari's presidency has given so much power to some elements in the north. Thanks for your insight. |

Those meetings are good but came a 'lil bit late.
Tell me the Southerner in PDP that can pull votes for them. Yes, the PDP will likely clear the SS, SE perhaps 2 or 3 states in the SW, then....
PDP wants power and only the North can guarantee that for them.
Election is big MONEY. Don't you think the APC can produce a southern candidate that can divide the votes of the North? |

PDP will zone North and most likely keep the SE as deputy, unless the APC pushes the SE as Deputy. If APC does, which is unlikely, PDP will take the deputy to SS.
Atiku is the only PDP candidate that can finance the election, that's the reality. The reason most Govs feel like, let it be his show.
On a Tambuwal v Atiku template again, Tambuwal will still lose. Na wa ooooo.... I thought Wike was among the southern governors that said power must return to the south 2wks ago? Saulawa who also joined is from Buhari's home State...Katsina and went to the SC last year.
