KingAzubuike: Not entirely true. Even the ones that have made good money from Yahoo are lousy too.
However if you want to know an upcoming Yahoo boy, just study his dressing. He go chop small iTunes gift card next thing na to wear colored socks ontop slippers, roundneck shirt, 3 quarter jeans, dye hair yellow, blue or white, put ear ring in some occasion, stuff their back pocket with like 10k and get a steady bikeman. In their minds, they have arrived and balling . Hahahahaha.... I faint..... Lol |

lalasticlala: Same here. Neighbours would be wondering what is this guy's source of income? He stays home all day while his wife goes out. Could it be that the Wife is feeding him or is he a Yahoo Boy, his Gen is on most a times, you hardly see him come out. I have heard gossips about me being a Yahoo boy. Lol
Even the guy that fixes my generator told me he thought same too because my former neighbors told him I'm into Yahoo. He confessed that he has always thought it's true. LWKMH Lol..... The exact situation I found myself in Abuja. Nigerians are very funny people aswear. They even broke into my apartment when me and my wife travelled and carted away some valuables including my 55inch smart tv. I had to relocate thereafter. |

DigiBandito: Most freelancers can relate. Especially the hard core ones that only go out like once in a month. Nigerians will tag you a yahoo boy. Very true! Everyone thinks I'm a yahoo boy in my area. It's a pity that in 21st century people still think you must run out of the house every day to earn a living. You dare not dress well or smell nice...... Lol.... Dem go call u yahoo boy. |

fergie001: I disagree totally.
Our Politicians cause the problems for the Court. The Court has warned many times for politicians to come clean. The politicians are the problems.
Indispensable85, if you are to interview for a job as GMD, NNPC...will you go there submitting a haphazard CV?
Infact, you will be looking at the CV every second.
There are laws in reconciling names. Why not follow it?
My name is A....if you change your name to B..why not reconcile them?
You notarised them, why not name the notary public?
That someone stole from your shop at gunpoint, then when running out of the shop helped you lock the door to prevent looters from coming in, does not exonerate him.
That a politician didn't follow the law and is heavily voted in does not justify the lawlessness. He should be ruthlessly punished.
There are banks in this Country that will not even accept a sworn declaration of age.
The Court should continue to punish them.
The Only Change I want in that electoral act is for pre-election cases to be settled before the election.
However, The PDP challenged that election even in the tribunal. They only withdrew their case immediately the Supreme Court affirmed Diri. I agree with you totally on the need to conclude preelection cases before election even though that's not gonna happen in this generation. You talked about coming clean...... Are the courts clean themselves? Haven't you seen how they've become tools in the hands of the political class? Lol.......... |

fergie001: It takes one judgement to right a wrong. Odili was apt on that judgement.
At the High Court in Igbosere, if you want 30 names one for every day in a month...You will get it. (Unless they have repented)
The false information is in the chameleonic way with which he absorbs names.
That is the same scenario Ibezim is facing...all came from the same judge at the Court of first instance. Who's supposed to have the final say in a democracy? The court or the people.? Denying the people a taste of their popular mandate is too harsh a judgement for an offence of descripancies in name of a certificate bearer not that they were forged. How could it have been intentional when he didn't even know he would contest for such position years back? My point is that we should reduce the reason why leaders who enjoy the popular mandate of their people can just be sacked with ease, especially when the opponent is not challenging the process. You'll remember that even the pdp didn't challenge that election. It was free, fair, credible and the people spoke so loud with the way they voted. |

fergie001: That is the misconception.
The SC never accused Degi of forgery but on his chameleonic attitude in changing of names.
There are laws that govern the way we change names. I think it was just strictly followed.
He knows nah U remember that what was brought before the court from the court of first instance was forgery. If the Supreme Court wasn't convinced about the allegation of forgery brought before it, why use other method to sack him? Clearly the case was that of forgery. The court should be careful how they interfer with the people's mandate. Imo and bayelsa should never repeat itself again for the sake of democracy. It's so devastating after queuing up to vote and the person gets an overwhelming victory but a group of seven people outside the state will use technicalities to hand power to a man rejected at the poll by the people. |

fergie001: The SC made a mistake. The electoral officer cannot direct for the Courts, it is vice-versa.
All the same, that is now for history students.
The SC never said that.
Just like the Ibekwe case, the Courts aren't saying it isn't his document..they are saying the change of name isn't done according to law (something is wrong), just like Degi.
Infact, you are aware Degi was taken to Court after that saga and was Acquitted.
Ok
Once you institute a case vide originating summons, especially one like forgery which is inherently criminal in nature, the procedure must be triable on affidavit evidence.
Agi alleged that while Ayade stated in his Nomination Form that he was born on March 2, 1969; his brother, Frank Ayade, deposed in an age declaration, that he (Ayade) was born on March 2, 1968.
MEANING.....Does Agi have a copy of Ayade's original? Can he get if from the NPC? Can the NPC testify on his behalf? etc etc...
How do you know which is forged? His brother's deposition or his? Hence, the forgery was not established.
Again, Section 177(b)...attained the age of 35 years old.
"In politically-oriented litigations, where the allegation of presentation of forged certificate to INEC is in issue, the accusing party must prove that the certificate presented to the INEC was forged and that it was the candidate that presented the certificate and that the two ingredients must be proved beyond reasonable doubt. (Supreme Court judgements: Audu vs INEC 2010; Maihaja v Geidam 2017; Saleh v Adabah, 2016)
Just like he is doing to Odey. Degi was taken to court after his disqualification by the Supreme Court but was acqitted of all allegations of forgery. There's something wrong with our judiciary. |

PDP should have expelled him for his anti-party in Edo state in last year poll. Continue to remain slave to your pdp. People like us go for individuals and not parties because all parties are same in Nigeria. Tomorrow if your party bring mumu as candidate u go vote am. Even though I am not atiku fan but I know he's more sound upstairs than Buhari but apc people worked and voted for his return even when they know the truth. It's time to drop all this mumu folllowership of parties, focus on individuals. If ur party bring out mumu vote against am. Alot of republicans were against Trump in the last elections in USA. Their main interest is a better USA not party. |
