peters is someone nigerians should be proud of he fought to earn his title when he did what he achieved is success and has no other but success as far as am concerned his career is better than that of tyson who messed up his career with crimes peter will continue to be a hero as it is not easy to win a world title he went thru many fights to even challenge 4 it
SportsRe: Samuel Peter- A Flash In The Pan by infomegaly(m): 7:46pm On Mar 29, 2009
because he lost 2 consecutive fights does not spell the end of the road 4 him . and that does not mean he is here just 4 the cash it is more difficult staying on to and continue to win in top class boxing the compitition is great. peters is still a great boxer to even become the champ in the first place.

Fantastic post lawyer wink

If other Nigerians were like you, we would have become a well informed generation. Your a gift to nairaland wink

I have been thinking of registering a company for a while now and different lawyers have been telling me different things that got me totally confused about the whole process and after reading this, i feel extremely enlightened and i can now proceed with it. I was extremely worried about the problems i will face using my home address as an office address so that i dont incur any penalties but i am relieved now

I will send you a mail to tell me the price as you stated earlier.  Some lawyers have been telling me that it costs N60,000 for just filing fees and above minus legal fees   sad to register a company which i am extremely skeptical about and from your honest well executed posts, i hope i will be given the right prices and if it is within within my budget i can proceed immediately.

Once Again well done! smiley
well filling fees is not 60,000 naira-----at the end of the day ( ALL IN ALL) the total amount charged depends on the person handling it------i personally handle company registration as a lawyer ,the filling fees increase as the share capital increase!!

grin grin grin grin @ posts

this is not funny at all grin grin grin shocked---------if arsenal wins the remaining 8 games(24 points) without a single draw (hard because of cham[pions league and FA cup commitment) including the ones against manchester united, liverpool and mumu chelsea, those teams will all have to drop considerable number of points too @ LEAST 9 POINTS DROP FROM CHELSEA 9 out of 24 very possible) 12 POINTS FROM LIVERPOOL OUT OF 24 VERY IMPROBABLE 14 POINTS FROM FROM MANCHESTER UNITED OUT OF 27 POINTS mathematically it is possible but REALITY SAYS NO!! especially when hoping for a three team blip/slip HABA!!
Any hope for 3rd classhuh? undecided undecided undecided

I am just thinking about what you said.I graduated with a 3rd class in Physics science.i did Cisco exams during my NYSC and after that.i am currently in UK doing my masters in computer Networking.I used my B.sc and CCNA together to apply.A friend of mine applied who came out with 2.2 and was not admitted. Its not about the degree dude. Its about how you brand yourself.Fine Naija hasa problem with 3rd class. Not all companies.i went for lots of interviews before i left. From what i noticed, when it comes to IT.Most IT companies dont look at the degree you came out with in the university. Its your professional certificate that matters.i know 5 3rd class student who work in IT firms in VI getting MAD MONEY. they gave me hopes and here i am studying for masters in UK(i did not do PGD OOOOOOOO) and i got a part time job here with my CCNA.

If you are into IT.do the usuals.CCNA,CCNP,CWNA ORACLE

If not if managment.Do prince 2 PMP ITIL

if Nigeria is stil dulling, try masters with your cert and professional certificate in uk.Out of 15 schools i applied too,5 gave me admission.i narrowed it down to 1

What more do i have to say?

There is hope. You just have to show you are capable.thats all
you are very much in order my guy and far ahead of many 2-2 or 2-1 gradutes who feels all isd well just by the paper in their hands. i have come to realise that the richest men in the world are those who has got determination to go the extra mile after what seems like a setback. there is going to be a revolustion of the ambitious 3rd class graduates on this site and in nigeria soon, it is about what you can do not the degree you got in the past.

Point of correction here, South Africa is not a commonwealth country. They have what is called continental law and not common law. This folk may find it utterly hard to enrol in Nigerian Law school. Of course, he cant practice law here. An indian friend that is a full lawyer from a university in Honkong found herself utterlly hopeless here. My law firm that is even owned by South Africa could not take her
OK!!babeface very well then.     South Africa  follow Roman Dutch law    Roman-Dutch jurisdictional rules IT IS actualy civil law  it is also sometimes known as Continental European law. MY  FURTHER RESEARCH SHOWS THAT  suoth africa  practices An amalgam of English common law and Roman-Dutch civil law as well as Customary Law. acceptance by the law school in nigeria is then a matter of further enquiries at the nigerian law school because of the copmmon law element in south african law system
\

if that fails then plan B!!

enrol for LLB (graduate route) university of london external system graduate route is just TWO YEARS!!  after that you seek admission to the nigerian law school. at least that option is better than another five years in a nigerian univeVrsity reading lawall over.
