PoliticsT.B. Joshua Predicted The U.S Election. (video) by infoscope(op): 7:22am On Nov 07, 2012
On Sunday, November 4, 2012, during a Live Sunday Service at The SCOAN, Prophet T.B. Joshua revealed a prophetic message concerning the 2012 American elections. In the prophesy he prophesied of a very close battle between Obama and Romney and asked the congregation to pray for Obama. However Obama has just been declared winner with about 303 electoral votes against 203 as of the time of putting up this.
Congrats to Obama

NAIJA and The Hurricane<ömö Naìjá tó Båd>
What would happen in Nigeria if we are to experience an hurricane like the US East Coast is currently going through Hurricane Sandy? (GOD FORBID)
Imagine that 'Hurricane' is heading for Naija in 3 weeks.. First and foremost;
1. Prophet T.B Joshua will prophesy the hurricane.
2. The State Governors will hold a press conference advicing the people of the states to remain calm as government is working hard to see how they can tackle the situation.
3. National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) will grant an interview on Channels TV and AIT saying that they are well trained andprepared to handle the crisis.That they are untop of the Situation.
4. The Federal Government will wait for the Hurricane to first land and wipe out Statesthen;
- Hold a day of National Mourning and Prayers and order the flag be flown at half mast.
- Visit the disaster location for a first hand assessment of the damage.
- Visit the survivors camp and share relief material (Mosquito nets, rice and Indomie)
- Set up a committee to investigate the Hurricane andsee how we can prevent future hurricanes from visiting Nigeria.
- Release billions of Naira (on Paper) for disaster management.
- Sack the Minister of Water Resources for failing to contain the water.
- Commend the State Governors, NEMA, Red Crossand other emergency services unit for their quick response.
5. The Senate will hold an emergency session and condemn the 'Hurricane'.
6. Churches around Nigeria will hold crusades and Programmes with Titles like 'May Hurricane wipe out your enemies'.. 'Calming the Hurricanes in your life'.. 'Finding the Rainbow in your Hurricane'.. e.t.c..
7. M.I Abaga will release a single about hurricanes.
8. Femi Falana (SAN) will sue the Hurricane, F.G and State government for their poor handling of the Hurricane.
9. CPC, ACN, APGA and otherswill blame the PDP and Jonathan for the Hurricane.
10. Jokes about BOKO HARAM claims responsibility for the Hurricane will go viral on Facebook, Blackberry Messenger and Twitter..
11. Many People will change their Blackberry Display Pictures to 'Hurricane Pictures' and Facebook status will read..Hurricane Tinz..
12. Nollywood will then start dia own... (various Huricane Movies)

Educational ServicesSecrets Of Smashing JAMB With High Scores by infoscope(op): 2:49am On Nov 02, 2012
If you are writing JAMB this year then you must read this.

Since the introduction of the University Matriculation Examination by the Joint admissions and matriculation board (JAMB) the exam has not only been a nightmare to Nigerian students but has also dashed the aspirations and dreams of Nigerian students.
This is not surprising since most students see the exam as a mountain that can only crossed by the special grace of God and not by hard work or both. Most students have developed a great “phobia” for the word” JAMB” that the name has become synonymous with fear, failure and impossibility.
However, in this article I will be revealing to you the secrets of not only passing JAMB examinations but passing them with high scores. Let’s start by introducing the exam.
Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB)
The examination Body was established by the Federal Government in 1977.The enabling law establishing the board was promulgated in Feb. 1978 as act No 2 of 1978. In 1993 it was amended as act No 33 of 1989 and further amended as act No 4 of 1993.It was established to solve the problem of multiple applications and admissions into Nigerian universities, monotechnics, polytechnics and colleges of education.
Be Determined;
No matter how hard you try to prepare for the exam the most important thing for you to do is to be determined to make it. Determination oils the engine of success. It keeps you going when you thing you are getting fed up. To be able to make it in JAMB examinations you must be determined on your own to make it at all cost.
Remove Fear;
As I stated earlier most students have developed a phobia for this examination. Your failure begins whenever you let fear take hold of anything you want to do. You must not see the JAMB examination as very hard exam that cannot be passed without examination malpractice.
Hard work Pays;
Great men they say are those who toil and work when their mates and contemporary sleep all through the night. The importance of hard work cannot be overemphasized. You cannot succeed in life without working hard. I have always believed that there is no shortcut in life. So if you want to pass your JAMB examination and you put your trust and mind on exam malpractice I say a very big sorry. You must start now to read your books. Time waits for no one.
Without God
You must put God first in anything you do. Research has showed that it is not always the most intelligent that passes exam but as the case may be there are many other factors that can stand on your way of success and bring failure to you. That is why it is very important that you seek God’s guidance as you prepare and write the examination. You may have covered the syllabus and finished solving all past questions go to the hall and write wonderfully well only for one person to implicate the whole hall and your results cancelled. So pray as if all things depend on God and read as if all things depend on books.
Use Jamb Textbooks;
One important thing most students seem not to know is that JAMB has its own textbooks. Most students make use of the Ordinary Level textbooks to prepare for the exam which is not only useless but a waste of time. If you are preparing for the maths examination and you use the ordinary maths textbooks which will tell you nothing about Permutation and Combination, calculus and so many other stuffs. Not only will you miss out some topics but you will as well miss out on the style of questions which JAMB uses. All JAMB’s questions are little higher and more difficult to WAEC and NECO questions. So I want to advice all candidates for the JAMB examination, especially those writing it for the first time to go to the markets and get some good textbooks for JAMB alone. I promise you after reading some of these textbooks you will come out of the hall smiling.
For Use Of English I recommend A to Z of JAMB’s Use Of English by Dele Ashade
In Mathematics I recommend Hidden Facts In JAMB Mathematics by M.A Otumudia
And in Physics I recommend The Science Physics For Senior Secondary Schools and JAMB examinations by Afolabi J.R.
They are all great books that really helped me when I wrote my JAMB exam.
Read Past questions
JAMB has made it easier for students by providing past questions for students to read and revise for the examination proper. The truth is that JAMB do repeat one or two questions yearly so not only will you equip yourself with the tricks of JAMB but you might be also solving the JAMB question you will be given in the exam hall that day. What I’m trying to say is that as long as you are a candidate for the JAMB exam you must read and solve the whole past questions for the subjects you are taking.
Form a reading group
Man they say is not an island so to enable you prepare for the exam you have to either form a reading group with your peers or probably join a JAMB lesson centre were you will associate and learn new things from your peers. Compete among yourselves to answer JAMB questions. Task and challenge yourselves on what you have read and very importantly try to teach others whatever you have learnt as it is the surest way to make them indelible in your mind.
Finally, make sure you register the form correctly, make sure your finger prints were taken. And you get to know the venue for the exam on time
Before the exam begins I will be given y
ou the final secrets to passing the exams. I wish you good luck. It is never easy God will see you through.

Only a Canvas is a tale of exhilarating characters from different backgrounds with dreams intricately woven together to create a tapestry of life. Olusola Olugbesan is an architect, married with three children and writes as a hobby. Only a Canvas is Olugbesan’s first novel.
On Black Sister’s Street tells a gripping story of the lives of four African migrants working the red light district of Antwerp in Belgium brought together by bad luck and big dreams into a sisterhood that will change their lives. The Enugu-born graduate of English Language and Literature, Chika Unigwe, lives in Belgium. She is married with four children.

Other members of the panel are Prof. Angela Miri, Head of the English Department at the University of Jos, Prof. Sophia Ogwude, Dean of the Faculty of Arts at University of Abuja, Prof J O J Nwachukwu-Agbada, Professor of African Literature in the Department of English, Abia State University and Dr. Oyeniyi Okunoye, a Senior Lecturer at the Department of English, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and a Section Editor of Postcolonial Text, a journal affiliated to the Association for Commonwealth Literature and Language Studies.
Other members of the Advisory Board, besides Professor Emeritus Ayo Banjo, are Dr. Jerry Agada, former President of Association of Nigerian Authors and Prof. Ben Elugbe, President, Nigeria Academy of Letters.
The Nigeria Prize for Literature has since 2004 rewarded eminent writers such as Gabriel Okara, founding father of modern Nigerian poetry, Professor Ezenwa Ohaeto (co-winner 2004), Ahmed Yerima, for his classic, Hard Ground, Mabel Segun for her collection of short plays, Reader’s Theatre; Kaine Agary for Yellow Yellow, Esiaba Irobi who posthumously clinched the prize in 2010, with his book, Cemetery Road and Adeleke Adeyemi, with pen name Mai Nasara, last year, for The Missing Clock.

For those of us who study in Federal University of Technology Owerri one thing we cannot boast of is infrastructure and good road networks. This is however surprising knowing fully well that FUTO is the premier university of Technology in Owerri and has produced men of timbre an caliber who have affected positively in the growth of our country Nigeria and beyond. To cut the long story short the level of infrastructure in FUTO is very poor. The roads are nothing to write home about.
In contrast, other universities of technology like FUTA and FUTMINNA boast of infrastructures that can stand the taste of time. What i cannot discern is if the problem is from the government or rather from poor administration in FUTO.
Nevertheless, FUTO remains arguably one of the best Institution when it comes to technology and engineering. Yes check our records.

CelebritiesStephanie Okereke's Surprise Party From Her Husband (Pics) by infoscope(op): 1:43pm On Oct 03, 2012
Stephanie Okereke Linus celebrated her birthday yesterday and his husband staged a surprised bash for the beautiful screen diva. Unknown to Stephanie, her husband was closely guarding a secret surprise birthday bash for her. To make his plans go smoothly, he had arranged for Stephanie to visit the hair stylists, booked her a session at a beauty spa to get her physically in the mood for an eventful evening. To put finishing touches to his plan, he had also invited about 30 of Stephanie’s closest friends, family and industry colleagues which included Nollywood beauties Ini Edo, Monalisa Chinda, producer Emem Isong, Kanayo .O. Kanayo, Frank Edoho just to mention a few, to a wonderfully organized candle lit dinner at their Ikoyi residence.

The celebrant returned to shouts of “happy birthday!” from friends, family, colleagues and loved ones. Already, there was a live music band to set the tone for the night. The actress was surprised as she was excited that she couldn’t hide it especially the presence of her colleagues at the event, as she laughed, exchanged banters and hugged family and friends.
The actress quickly went inside to change to a more befitting outfit and joined the rest of the party. Former DBN host, Israel Edjeren was the MC – a job he did justice to. And the highlight of the event was when the celebrant’s husband, Linus Idahosa once again re-declared his love for his wife and serenaded her with a beautiful love song.
