For ZSJL I hear in streaming service Bookmyshow in India it got over 100k purchases, the largest ever by India's records.

Some DC fans are the ones holding the fandom down with their toxic attitude.

While it's good they gave us SnyderCut the management wouldn't want to appear as if they'll fall to fan pressures and be controlled, hence look weak.

That's probably why they denied SnyderCut and didn't want it to come out. Some execs might take it as a move of "rewarding bad behaviour". Cos let's look at it and be real, some fans behave as if Snyder vision is the 'be all end all'. They don't want others input aside Zack's. While Zack is good and all and seems better than some producers/directors he's also flawed.
It's evident in his MOS and BVS reactions.


People forget there are Director/producers like James Wan in DC. See how Aquaman turned out. He knew what core fans and general audience want not picking only one faction to satisfy. Everyone is important.

Our best bet is to solicit Jason Kilar and enlighten him on the need and benefits of a Snyderverse even if subjected to HBOMax. It's a win win...my own dream is after greenlighting Snyderverse (Deathstroke, Batfleck movie, Green Lantern, Atom, Cyborg, JL 2 etc.) they should just crossover to Theatrical for JL 3. And complete the trilogy with a BANG, also introducing Flashpoint with a huge team up, that way bring all non DCEU movies(The Batman etc) together for mashup and can finally retire Batfleck and/or Cavill with a great farewell. Then we can move on proper with other characters>>> Supergirl, Zatanna, Battinson, Black Adam, Batgirl and more.

Boss I know that Xiaomi also use such for their low grade series. The key word being LOW GRADE/ BUDGET. Xiaomi definitely can't use usb 2.0 in about 70% of their devices. Something I can't say for the whole Transsion brand. In fact over 95% of Transsion devices are usb 2.0 even their expensive phones.

I see that as a red flag and unseriousness and a lack of progression.

The most annoying thing is a device of mid 2019 not coming with any of: USB OTG, 4G LTE or USB 2.0(although this is excusable) for a price of #50k. Haba!! Even Nokia that I know to be one of the most stingy OEM's can't do this shït. At least they'll still incorporate 4G LTE even if it's the most basic version.

That thing is what I can't forgive. Since then my hate for that brand just grew ten fold even tho I was still a user then.

Neckbands offer great battery time too. I hear 20-22 hrs plus. Just that my own type of ear isn't common. Those rubber sizes they put in wired Earpieces ain't fit for my tiny ear holes. They easily fall out. Half-in ear earpieces or TWS are my best options, but the quality ones ain't that ubiquitous.

Sigh, the good 'ole days of Tecno, I got the Tecno d5, my first android smartphone.
They were like the old nokia of android those years, different types of android smartphones like the keypad android and their glorious Phantom series. But they've stopped innovating since everyone will buy their phone because it's cheap and there are no other options, so until a phone company with the mindset of xiaomi enters nigeria and give them competition at that price range, they'll continue to sell like hotcakes.
The only innovative design I've seen and like so far from transsion is the Infinix zero 8's back panel, but people with extreme Trypophobia will hate it.

That's my problem with Transsion. They stopped innovation since 2017. The annoying thing is they are the slowest to adopt new tech or trend. Imagine this people still dishing out micro usb 2.0 in 2019 and even without 4G LTE for a phone of almost 50k in 2019!!
Their was even no otg sef. I nearly vex smashed the phone. I really needed that otg feature back then cos there was mammoth movies I wanted to port to usb flash and connect to my TV. I had an obsession for Downloading movies every night, even tho I don't watch up to 10%.

I prayed had in 2017 and was angry Xiaomi wasn't in Nigeria back then. I remember seeing juicy deals online but couldn't purchase cos I had phobia for online buying back then, especially when it's not from Nigeria/Jumia.

I liked the innovative back design for the infinix Zero 8. It was the first time I was seeing Transsion try to innovate in a long while instead of bandwagon.

Someone was fuming then why I would spend around 100k for the S4 when the Phantom A+ cost around 37k but I wasn't moved because I wasn't drawn to that company right from time and the only time I used them it was a forgettable experience. But I give it to them for giving people a doorway in Nigeria to get a feel of the Android ecosystem

Yea, they did some good work for smartphone adoption.

People were baffled by my choice of shelling almost 100k for RN9S last December. Some even said why didn't I buy an iPhone. I was like I never like that company for one thing (maybe except their photo & optimization dexterity). I hate all the raves with their phones and their users superiority complex. I also don't like to follow the crowd. I love as my phone different from countless others.

Almost everyone around my area don't even know about Xiaomi or Redmi. . I guess I'll be proud of being an early adopter or first mover in my zone.

I saw the P8 in 2015 but it had nothing on the S6 and S6 Edge that year.

I remember when I bought the Samsung Galaxy S4 in 2013, choices where limited, it was either Sammy, Apple, HTC, Sony and LG then the Tecno Phantom A/A+

True...options were very limited to those companies.

S6 Edge blew everyone away that year in terms of design. That's when Samsung was still innovative and leading the way for phone tech. Now I'm just pissed everyone now following iPhone footsteps and design.

The thing I loved about Huawei that period were that design wise after Samsung and maybe Sony they were the next best thing. I always loved their design and sleekness.

All those Sony, Apple, HTC, LG weren't in my plans or dreams at all sef. Cos I didn't have the financial reach to buy any of their phones then.
Phantom series from Tecno was the next best option. And they did a whole lot of good for smartphone penetration in Africa.

My colleague at work is looking for a new smartphone to buy. Upgrading from Samsung Galaxy S4.

He was looking at the A12 and the pricing..I was even pitching a better deal for him — The Redmi 9T. But guy no dey reason my talk. He's just fixated on his galaxy and I know it's mainly cos of name. There was a day he was boasting that 'people hail him as a big boy cos of his Samsung even tho d phone na kpalasa' cos of brand name.

Me I just dey look am like na only people wey no Sabi phone go see that one dey trip. I no sha tell am make I no hurt him feelings.

The other phone he was considering is fairly used A51. I dey tell this guy say na phone wey Infinix Note 7 dey beat for performance an im him wan purchase. E be like say I dey Blaspheme.

I was actually pissed of that annoying protectionism. The main underlying reason to that effect was the hatred and jealousy US had of China overthrowing their Economy in this decade. To limit that growth they had to tackle the big tech companies from China. Just when US was starting to lose its grip and dominance on World cutting edge technology. Huawei/China actually best them in the next technology race — 5G.

And Sam took it personal and decided to spoil things.

I was seeing the pricing for A32 and was fuming. This people take consumers for fools. That's why I hate monopolies and always end up supporting UNDERDOGS.

I started paying close attention to Huawei from the P9 in 2016.

I began growing a following for them around 2015/16, that time when person just start dey hustle for jamb to free person.

That time I loved and frequented walking into Phone stores in ikeja and playing with the top phones I can lay my hands on. I wondered why I was never enamoured by Samsung then. I was just drawn to Huawei. The P phone I press that day ehn...use am snap picture since then I became a believer.

I even sent the pics to my Nokia X2.

Same way BlackBerry and Nokia where feeling back then. Now they've been upended. HTC sef same. Sony(mobile) sef outgunned. I remember when Sony used to boast of the best in class Camera and their under water protection rating.

The rise and fall of brands is very much littered in Tech.

Same way Samsung and iPhone were laughing when Huawei told(predicted) that it's going to be world number 1 by 2023 and become #2 by 2019. Not until Huawei achieved that feat and they started the panic button and called uncle Sam to limit that growth.
