Travel / How Much It Cost To Charter A Private Jet by Inova(m): 12:55pm On Mar 23, 2013
People who are interested in getting
private jet charter services often ask how
much does it cost to charter a private jet.
The question can be considered as a
necessity particularly because of the
associated prohibitive cost of renting an
executive jet.
Among the people who often rent jet
helicopters or jet aircrafts are politicians and
celebrities whose tight schedules require them
to travel from one place to another in a short
period of time.
If it will be your first time to rent for a jet
flight, the following information on aircraft
charter and their jet aviation rental cost can be
helpful:

Calculating private jet charter costs:

Private jet charter companies may follow
different guidelines when calculating private jet
charter rates. However, the private jet charter
cost can be estimated by considering the
length of flight, the hourly rate for the jet
planes and the expenses. An estimated four
hour private rentals for example will be
calculated based on the flight time multiplied to
the hourly rate that is generally charged by jet
aviation companies. Note that the length of the
business jet flight is estimated using the round
trip flight time and is dependent on the speed
of the aircraft, the typical winds and air traffic.
Hourly rate for renting a Boeing jet will
generally depend on the private jet charter
pricing that will be given by the jet charter
companies. Private jet charter prices and rates
also often depend on the aircraft class and the
aircraft size. Light or small jet planes generally
charge lesser than the medium jets and full-
size jets. Small jets charge an average of more
or less $3,200 for an hour of flight while heavy
jets can charge as much as $4,500 per hour.

I have an above average IQ so I'd say I'm very intelligent. Now where the problem lies is that I just can't seem to win a single game of chess. As chess requires that you have a good decisive mind and strategy, does dat mean I'm a dull and unintelligent person? Nairalanders I need your candid opinion on this
NYSC / Re: Can Anyone In NYSC Camp Confirm The Payment Of N38,900 Alawee? by Inova(m): 1:58pm On Mar 20, 2013
acidtalk: Jonathan is trying to just score cheap politics while in office.

A government that is still struggling to pay minimum wage for those employed is now increasing the 'allowance' of corpers who have only a year to serve, get housed and feeded for free and most of them still get paid at their primary assignment posting as well as get extra income from their parents, siblings and aristos.

Do something to curbe the high rate of unemployment first Mr Jonathan. That N38,900 allowance for a single corper could readily be used to pay two 'ex' corpers a monthly salary.

Let's look for a permanent solution to better the lives of the people and not some irrelevant cheap staunts.

The unemployed need that money most (even half of it) than most corpers who are still dependent on their parents and relatives.
Your comment and signature are soooo on point dude.

Politics / What Is The Madness Behind Making A Phrase "My Oga At The Top" Important by Inova(m): 1:42am On Mar 18, 2013
Throughout the whole of last week I had been barraged with this silly "My Oga at the Top" phrase to no end.
Uncreative jokers hv finally discovered how to joke with phrases till its starts to stink in peoples ears.
Now my Take on this is:
1) It is unprofessional of Channels crew to act as crude as they did. Interviews are not meant to be used to bully people. If there's any personal issue they hv with the person being interviewed it should be done off the camera. You will not understand this until put urself in his shoes. I was once embarased on media once when I misquoted the wrong facts. This due to the fact dat I didn't want to sound ignorant. It was a lesson I learnt dat day. Ever since no presenter catches me unawares. I will not attend ur show if you don't outline your questions.
2) Mr Shem the NSCDC Commandant is probably not a very important man. And I'm sure most of you did not know him until now hence why I'm wondering why the extent of the humiliation on the poor guy. NSCDC is just more of a paramilitary outfit designed to SUPPORT other security units like military, police etc. To me I see them more like a Boys Scout or Boys Brigade with Federal govt backing. Nothing special about them. Beside I used to think dia work was voluntary.
Now from what u have read so far I hope u can now see the reason why I wasn't really expecting a thoroughly educated person manning his position. I'm sure you as an educated person wuld not take up his job if there were adequate jobs out there.

I put a colleague of mine making jest of the poor NSCDC Commandant to the test. Lo and behold he didn't even know his office website address arguing dat he doesn't hv any use for it. And dats a young man oh.

The next Joke that will soon go viral is when the Notorious Channels television decides to Interview the president of NURTW

Religion / Re: Pastor Dies On Pulpit After Giving Powerful Sermon by Inova(m): 11:51am On Mar 14, 2013
oladimejiX: This story could turn you a preacher by the time you finish reading it.

The Pastor got to the church on that sunday morning and began his preaching. As he was preaching, he noticed a small boy weeping, which he thought was due to the touching message he was delivering.

By the time he finished the preaching, he called the boy to share his testimony and here is it:
Boy: (weeping uncontrollably as he holds the microphone) Sir, What do you call a person that picks what does not belong to him and turns it to his own?
Pastor: A thief of course!
Boy: (Surprised of the answer the Pastor gave) A thief! Okay...
Then the boy continued...

When I was coming to this church this morning, I lost a jotter that contained revelations given to me by God. I was very troubled, so I decided to pray. When I was praying, God told me He had delivered it to the hand of a pastor to whom He wanted me relay a message. He said he would instruct Him to call my phone number on the jotter and then He(God) would give me a message for him.

I asked what the message was and God told me "Tell Him I want him to be faithful to me and then his ministry and business will grow; Faithfulness is all I need from him"

Though I did not understand the message well and I was not going to question God to explain what He meant, I decided to just do as I was directed.

I waited for the call and I received none, so I kept calm. I knew I would get my jotter back, since I was going to deliver a message to the one with it.

"I came here because God had sent me to give the church members the tract He asked me to print, WHICH IS THE SERMON YOU HAVE JUST DELIVERED."
God actually knew we were going to meet here, so He sent me to you.

The head Usher to receive and assess the tract for approval, before it would be distributed was not around, so I waited.
Where I was sitting, I saw two Angels standing beside you, removing some things off you. I couldn't stand the sight that I wept. I wanted you to stop the preaching but they warned me not to say anything. The Angels left 2minutes ago and while they were leaving, they told me you only had 10minutes to live. They ended it by saying: "THIS ONE WILL BE A LESSON FOR AS MANY WHO ARE UNFAITHFUL IN THEIR DEALINGS WITH GOD AND MEN"

The message in the tract is what you have preached as sermon so there won't be the need to distribute it any more.
It dropped off me and you actually picked it, but you never obeyed God to call me as He has directed you.

"Can I have my jotter back now?," the boy said as he shook his head sideways.

The pastor, now sweating profusely, wept as the whole church was watching to see what would happen. He took the jotter and handed it to the boy then fell and died there on the altar, as a reward for his unfaithfulness.

The whole church, on seeing him fell, ran out of the church!

Then it reminded me of a passage in the bible that says: "And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another mans, who shall give you that which is your own?" (Luke 16:12).

ifyalways: dude, if you actually live in lagos you should know that its next to impossible to put 3 blocks and mixed cement together on any land without the various land and town planning agents taking you hostage and making you pay for all sorts of permit else you get slapped with "stop work" . Wether those papers are fake or not, remains the headache of a sincere govt.

Fashola should look inwards and start prosecuting the fraudulent officers in those agencies. Only then would he come across as genuine in his quest.

Demolish illegal structures but please punish your workers who are partners in crime.
Well said.
You are on point. The question I would ask you however is: Who is at the losing end? There's no way you would not know you are dealing with fraudulent officceres. The Observations I gave are extremely crazy that one would wonder how they could ever get a permit from the govt. If it were you would you believe your permit would be genuine.
Fraudulent officers or not, you know where to go if you want genuine permit so nobody should complain here.
If no one patronizes them they will go outa business

There's absolutely no how they would have been grated C of O for such construction. Some People just go about doing what they want. And when the Government comes for the kill we start to complain. IF it was true Lagos state granted them C of O, then they should take lagos state to court. Haba. And if they had C of O it would have been fraudulently obtained.
Politics / And Who Says Lagos Is Not Working: My Personal Observation by Inova(m): 4:22pm On Mar 09, 2013
Oh no. Im so in love with Fashola's administration. He has got the right team working for him. And why did I say this? Check out my points hia. This is based on my own personal observations:
1) On a street not too big in Ifako Ijaiye, a person just decided to build a petrol station there. Only God know how his tankers are going to be getting there to unload their contents (some people just don't think at all). The person hurried the construction under a week. It was so annoying thinking about the impending trafic that it would create. And guess who came to save the day, Lagos State town planning. Before we knew it, the entire building was demolished!!!! Praise the LORD.
The guy would sure be biting his fingers now.

2) On another street in Ogba, an eeediot just decided to construct a fence across the street blocking the street completely (Some of you here might have noticed it). This was a street serving most motorist since construction started one of the street connecting to Yaya Abatan. It helped reduced heavy traffic for motorist and here comes this person messing the whole idea up by building a fence across the road. And who do you think came to the rescue? Lagos State town planning team again!!!!!
They demolished the fence and granted access to motorist to ply the road again.

With all this who says Lagos State is not working. Fashola is my MAN any day. And I love his team members. They are really committed to their work. Unlike some other States

Joeadamu86: What do you expect from someone who is not democratically inclined?the military mentality is still flowing in his blood, what Buhari did is like a son calling his father a bad man,no matter how worst your country is still your country.
I don't understand wat is wrong with all of you on this thread.
And what has Buhari said that is wrong. And what should he hide. If ur father was a womaniser and wife beater; does not pay ur school fees even though he has money but would prefer to give it hide it for his personal use. Will you still defend that father in public? Never. In fact wat will you say in defence (people will just laff at you as a clown)
Now comming outa the analogy; to solve a problem you hv to do 2 things
1) You have to first of all identify the problem (which he did call it washing dirty linen outside or not) and
2) Proffer a solution (Which he also did)
Never let sentiments overule ur judgement.

Nauttyprof: Being a Virgin is the best gift a lady can give to her husband. In fact to be honest with you all, in case there is any delay of any sort (i mean pregnancy), the husband will be confident enough to say he knows it is only a delay from God and he won't think otherwise. The husband can go to any length to trust his wife but if it were to be the other way second thought comes in no matter the existing bond.

N.B: I'm referring to genuine husband.
Wrong. She would realize how sweet it is and if her hubby starves her one bit she could give it to someone else to help her.

Timijo: What is wrong in marrying a virgin?

I am asking this question because of what my fiancee told me about her friend who lost her relationship because she is a virgin. The man asked her for sex and she told him that he should wait till the wedding night because she is a virgin. The next episode was that the man ended the relationship, saying I can't marry a virgin.

Is it a crime for ladies to preserve themselves for their husbands to be till the wedding night?

Which is better?: to marry a lady who has not messed up herself like a biitch or to marry a lady that has gone into convenant with different men thru sex?

Look, I am not saying that it a must to marry a virgin, but if the right woman for you happens to be a virgin, will you reject her for this reason?

First of all I really have this thing with blood and I would have to disvirgin my wify. I don't have to contend with all the crying and stuff.

striktlymi:

Well frank,

It's impractical to derive an objective conclusion from a subjective premise. Opinions are rather subjective and it matters not whether they make sense or not. You can argue your case out and make sense from the argument but considering that there is no objective evidence therein it is impossible for an independent observer to validate whatever claim(s) or counter claim(s) you might have made.

I can as well give my own thoughts on the matter which will also make sense but in the overall analysis, it would come down to it being my own opinion on the matter and anyone can as well reject it cause it would be subjective. The best we can do is accept only what appeals most to our subjectivity and as a fallout accept what makes the most sense and meaning to us.

So frank unless you back up your analysis with with verifiable evidence, the best you can get is an opinion which anyone can reject if he decides to.

Thanks!

Emusan: Wernher Von Braun, the first director of NASA's Marshall Space Flight Centre, who's known "the father of the American space programme," stated in a published article in May, 1974: ' one cannot be exposed to the law and order of the universe without concluding that there must be a design and purpose behind it all... The better we understand the intricacies of the universe...the more reason we have found to marvel at the inherent design upon which is based... To be forced to believe only one conclusion--that everything in the universe happened by chance--would violate the very objectivity of science itself...... What random process could produce the brain of a man or the system of the human eyes?

They(evolutionists) challenge science to prove the existence of God. But must we really light a candle to see the sun?.. They say they can't visualise a designer. Well, can a physicist visualise an electron? What strange rationale makes some physicist accept the incoceivable electron as real, while refusing to accept the reality of a designer on the ground that they cannot conceive Him? If there's a book, then there must be a publisher; if there's a building, then there must be an architect and a builder; if there's a work of art, then there must be an artist. "lift your eyes and look to the heavens: who created all these?
Have you ever bothered to think of what broilers or layers (chickens) think about who their creator is? They would obviously say its the humans feeding them abi. Dats just how our underdeveloped brain concieves things at the moment. But until we develop the brain thru science dat is wen we will know exactly our origin. Quantum physics is the answer to our question. And by the way electrons are viewable. So are cells and even much more smaller entities. Quantum physics deals with the study of the tiniest entities in the world. Dat is the structure of an atom and how the elements came together to form it. GBAM.
