Actually they are at liberty to explain to the courts.

The courts already granted Sowore bail twice but DSS refused to obey court orders.

And bro you are actually supporting the DSS with this your statement.

On the contrary... I'm being neutral here since there are so many versions of stories out there.

Again what is secret service if the public aka courts know about the secret. Sowore might have been linked to something only them and Sowore know that is bigger than the courts. My opinion though

Hearsay bruv?

Video evidence is not hear say?

No one is above mistake and if APC had quickly admitted it was a mistake and distance itself from the events, I would have believed they are little sincere and civilized.

APC with this event is now becoming a secret cult group where leaders can do no wrong and followers are not allowed to question the validity of the leadership or even question one another.

Am not here to support any party. For DSS to hold on to Sowore, they must know something we don't plus they are not at liberty to explain to anyone. Sowore might already know why he is been kept even after court decision. It explains all the drama he and his supporters were displaying. Reminds me of the stunts SUG pulls in front of police just to garner sympathy. He needs to grow up.

I have never heard anyone more stupid than the Dss in my life

So the Judge is stupid to dismiss other cases and run for safety.

And what was the DSS officials doing in court in first place. (since they were not there to arrest Sowore) cheesy were they there to safeguard the court premises.

Buhari I have lost my respect for your administration from today.

Osibanjo you are not pastor but a fraud for remaining silent in all of these.

Why are you channeling your energy and anger on hearsay. Were you in the court to witness what actually happened or you are just reacting based on what you believe happened.

I disagree with you, countries have laws and such laws should be obeyed by all, the US secret service won't hold back a US citizen granted bail by a US court, nobody will be killed in the US for calling for a revolution not even in 1year, since the DSS took him to court, the should respect the outcome, period
I don't particularly like sowore, but it can be Anybody

Are you aware of the PATRIOT act in USA.
It gives the US SSS discrete autonomy to infringe on human rights. But you don't hear about these things.
If Buhari should implement this he will be seen as a super tyrant

There were guys in suit (dss officials that were sent to pick him)

Hello there..
Please note that DSS do not wear suit for operation. Please research this.
It's also important to note that lawyers also wear black suits and that is their domain. Plus another case was about to hold which would require new attendees. So the guy in suit could have been anyone.

Again recall the time he was arrested when he claimed the DSS damaged his car. With the video they circulated around of the arrest, it turned out that it was his driver that recklessly slammed the car on the gate pillar while trying to follow the dss
I believe Sowore staged managed the whole court fracas thing which was really ridiculous and embarrassing for someone that once contested for presidency.

TAKE BON TO COURT let's know if they're right simple.
I dont get you. Which court? This is why professionalism should be seriously enforced in this country. There is a rule book they attested to before been given a licence. If you break it you get fined. If that is clear then what is there to contest again. Do you think DaaR does not know what they are doing? Its already a frustrated station that hire presenters with no skills or knowledge in broadcasting. If you can talk and your voice sounds good its good-to-go

Surely there has to be a way to contest these fines? Absolute imposition of penalty on the media for views/publications, without option of appeal, opens the regulatory authority to inherent abuse.

Transcripts of the erring opinions must also be released to the public for comparison with available evidences. History is replete with laws covered with the veneer of public good, that were exploited by governments into tools of autocratic repression.
This is not a village square. NBC does not owe the public any explanation. If Daar communication think they have been violated which I doubt, they should contest it. However the rules are clear in which they attested to before obtaining broadcasting licence

So?

How much is N20 billion?

I want to believe you are just being sarcastic.....

N20 billion is about the amount required to procure a commercial banking licence from CBN (₦25B to be exact).

It is about the minimum required to be deposited with CBN as insurance for your money kept in the bank.

To you it looks small because of the brazzen theft you are used to hearing and seeing in the media.

Jobs/Vacancies / Revealed!! Banks Pay About N20 Billion In Staff Salary Anually by Inova(m): 7:53pm On Jul 28, 2018
This information was gathered painstakingly over a period of time and collated for your information and decision making while taking up a banking job.

Note that it does not represent the actual salary of any bank.

However it is based on Industries average standard.

Its amazing to note that a typical bank will shell out about N20billion in salary payment alone annually. This is excluding recurrent expenditure and other miscellaneous expenses shocked

A times I wonder how these banks generate such amount of money.

Union Bank and Keystone Bank just did an upward review of salary so I believe their total annual payment of staff salaries would be higher than the N20 billion as already stated.

If you are skeptical about this, then see the break down as part of my research

Aba have been kpo-kpoing the skulls of lazy zoogerian soldiers since 19gborodom.

I remember a trip to Aba on a certain day. The driver of the bus I entered was stopped at the military checkpoint just as you enter Umuahia.

The unruly soldier stopped our driver and started intimidating him unneccesarily, the driver won't have none of that and told him he wasn't going to give him a dime. The soldier got angry and hit the driver with the butt of his gun breaking his lips.

The Aba driver angrily got down and swore that the only thing separating the soldier from possible death by his hands was his gun, the soldier threatened to shot and driver approached him daring him to shoot and swearing to kill. We were all shocked and disturbed.

A superior officer who was watching emerged from their tent and asked the the soldier to surrender his gun and fight the driver man-to-man. The soldier almost cried, people gathered, hawkers, passers-by, passengers. The go-slow no be here.

He grudgingly gave the gun to the senior officer and clench his fist, the way the driver grabbed the cowardly soldier like nylon-bag funny me till today. grin grin

The beating was flawless, blows and slaps met the soldiers face in quick sucession from the Aba driver's hard palms and fist. Seconds later the soldier was on the ground fed with sand and mud by the driver.

The senior officer who was the also the referee later broke the fight, ordered the Aba driver to go amidst cheers from spectators and drag the severely beaten soldier into the tent. I.wan laugh die that day. grin

Boko Haram or the addition of IPOB and NDA? Wat have yorubas gained?

They say GEJ gave Igbo position,(Finance Minister and Aviation Minister) are they that wicked not to understand that they have had 8years(OBJ) in power and the Igbos none?

GEJ tried to appease a people that felt marginalize and keep them Nigerians.

Today, they are Biafrans.
Sorry he did not appease any of you. Had he appeased the Igbos you have gotten your Independence or at least development in the East.

MrMystrO:
I am not a Christian neither do i belong to any Religion whatsoever, but i do believe Religion is still an absolute necessity For a lot of people, especially those from Third world countries like Nigeria! Yes, and here's why i think so: :
I am a deist, or theist at best, But contrary to my previous beliefs, i don't think our people, that is, ordinary Nigerians are Ready for the Raw undiluted truths about Reality and Life just yet. Religion was designed by a Group of Extremely smart men as a Tool for General mental slavery for the masses by playing on the mind of the individual, Providing them with easy answers to the most fundamental questions we ask as humans, Thereby keeping them all away from seeking further truths, and instead more concerned about other less complex things. The Truth is that this has really helped in keeping the masses in a tightly controlled state and also helped avoid the chaos that would occur if people discovered the real truths about Reality and Life itself. I do think the decline of Religion is inevitable and someday, our future generations to come will look back and laugh at how stupid we were for actually Believing some of the most unrealistic, extremely obvious fables man has ever known, and still claim to be advanced people. But That is still a long way to come and as for now, people especially in countries like Nigeria don't need to know the Raw truths just yet, Imagine a Murderer or a kidnapper,or a robber or rapist eventually turning to an atheist?? Doesn't sound too Nice right? What will be the inner force that will torment their conscience after committing Horrible acts? Some people haven't developed stable minds up to this time, to be able to act Right and possess good moral standards without religion just yet. So most people still need Jesus, Buddha, Mohammed and the rest in their lives for now before they can talk about moving on to deeper truths. So contrary to my previous beliefs that we as a people need to be free from Religious slavery, I now realize that Religion is absolutely necessary to Help maintain Order in the Society so for now, Daddy freeze should let Christians and other people practicing their various religions to be. This is my own take on this Topic.
