It is said that "Pride goes before a fall" and could that be same with the great Nigerian Professor Wole Soyinka who earlier said that he would tear his American Green passport if Donald Trump ever becomes U.S President. Now that Donald Trump is the President Elect, will Soyinka Pack up and leave America for good or still stay back and blend with the new wind of Change in America? Read On.

We at Gistpark (GP) has an advice for Professor Wole Soyinka this day and that advice is that he should pack every single thing he has and return fully to his father land Nigeria and add more impact to the ministry of Education instead of staying away and interfering with international politics that has no connection with the food on his table. with all due respect to our Laurette, "COME HOME SIR!"

The reason why we suggest he gets himself out of America for good is that Donald Trump will come after every mouth that spoke against him with his political gimmicks and influence openly cause that's who he is. he is scared of no nation on earth currently. so Oga Professor, Home (Nigeria) is the best option right now.

This is a very funny but serious issue anyway. lols! this corp member who happens to be my friend who is serving at a rural part of Kogi state lamented seriously of how the corp members there have to climb trees to make a single phone call. Below is what he posted on Facebook

Nysc year of service is a whole calendar year of selfless service to humanity in different fields and places across Nigeria. we all who are corp members are in different PPAs (Place of primary assignment) currently and doing our best to see how Nigeria can be better by our efforts of great service to Nigeria but these two corp members said to themselves that "all work and no rest is suicide". see for yourself in the photo below.

Google just launched Allo, a new smart messaging app that comes with stickers, emoji, and a powerful assistant who can answer all your questions. Let’s take a look at its biggest features, and see if it’s worth moving all your conversations over to it.

Assistant is handy whenever you’re making plans with other people. For example, say you’re trying to find a place to eat. In the middle of your chat, you can say “@google italian food near me” and Google will pull up restaurant listings. Tap one and you can get directions, call the restaurant, or view the menu.

Assistant also remembers its own context. For example, if you tap a restaurant, you can then ask “Is it open?” and Google understands that “it” refers to the restaurant you’re looking at. Dear Stream 2 PCMs, you have every reason to be hopeful. Here is why :
1. This is a new regime with a new DG (Brig. Gen.SZ Kazaure ). One with no known history of postponement yet.
2. NYSC management is feeling the heat of not having to keep up with the proposed date (21st May) for orientation course more than we PCMs.
3. Postponement is the least of options the mgt. hz at the moment, knowing fully well that a change in date of the programme would result in disruption of the scheme's planned calendar as it intend to hold 3 batches (A,B&C) this year.
4. Incase the NYSC mgt. resort to change in date (hopefully not), the farthest the orientation course can be moved to is June. 5.Both Stream 1&2 (Batch A)are to pass out same time. Thus moving the date for the commencement of stream 2 Orientation course beyond June implies additional incurred cost on the mgt. part as it would need to pay the stream 1 corpers allowance(s) for the additional month spent in service waiting for their stream 2 counterpart.
6. Merging stream 2 with Batch B is not an option and the mgt. know this. All eyes are on NYSC mgt., making such move would draw criticism from various big wings in the country, not just stream 2 PCMs.
7. Expect NYSC to make known it's stance btw today (Monday 16th May) and tomorrow (Tuesday 17th May). Hopefully with the news printing of CUL begins shortly. Victoria acerta (Victory is certain). Have a glorious week ahead. FST.

the DG has already spoken today ooo. according to News Agency Nigeria(NAN) he explained how FG sliced out 13billion from the Nysc proposed budget for 2016. Please Just read NAN news today online. There is hope as The senate are currently intervening by planning to provide an alternative for funds before the camp date so that we can print CUL and report to camp by 21st may 2016 without nysc having issues of fund on our case while in camp.

NL should help us by putting this petition on the front page i think...... we can also copy it and share on fb and other platforms online. what i heard again sef was that CUL is ready but that the so called passed budget has not started anything with regards to our camp expenses like feeding and allawee that's y they cant't allow us see our CUL for now. but my question is what have we done wrong to deserve this insult from the FG and Nysc?
