1. I don't see how I have a fault there. I quoted her based on her implying that 70 meant "too old".

2. I love Buhari but I am not a diehard fan. I am willing to change if I see that his intentions are not sincere.

3. I am an Osun worshipper and a core traditionalist. Ogun is my patron saint, Osun and Olokun are my mothers and I love all the gods. You cannot expect me to like people who have embraced the religion and gods of other lands. I don't like Christians because they are foolish. They think a Jew is their saviour just because a white man told their ancestors that nonsense. However, not all Christians are foolish. I have come to notice that their pastors are wiser and traditional.

To start with.

1. What do you think about Ogun (and our fore father's other gods demanding for human sacrifices?)

2. One of our father's customs was that, when a woman give birth to twins, one of them should be thrown into a forest. But it was stopped by a missionary.

Do you think we should continue that practice? If your wife give birth to twins, can you kill one of them to for our father's gods?

Sorry for disturbance. Why is the above important?

Freelancing is generally the perfect job for an introvert. You can, however, also be an extrovert and freelance as well, even though it will be a bit challenging. I am not the outgoing type, I prefer staying in one place, so freelancing is perfect for me. For knowing what is happening in Nigeria, I use Nairaland. I get every information I need about the country and what is happening from here. I have a skipping rope, so I go to skip every 1 to 2 hours to avoid sitting down for too long. I do that within my house, so I don't even have to go outside.

Using working as a freelance writer as an example, you can decide how much words you can write within a time frame. For instance, you might be able to write 500 words in 30 minutes. Then you might decide that you want to work for only 5 to 8 hours a day. With this, you will try to accept jobs of only 5,000 to 8,000 words in a day. You will want to look for clients that will give you at least 24 hours to deliver their job. With this, you can decide to work from 8am to between 1 and 4pm daily, or 10pm to between 3 and 6am daily. You can therefore have the whole day to do your other activites, rest in the evening and then work in the night or adjust your time the way you want it. If you are earning an average of $2.5 per 500 words article (of course you can earn much more or a little less, depending on the clients), then you will be making about $20 a day (after removal of freelance charges and other charges). That is over N8,000 per day and over N240,000 a month for just working 5 hours a day. That is a decent income to a large extent in Nigeria.

It, therefore, depends a lot on discipline, taking work within the time frame you want to work everyday, making sure you only take jobs with a deadline of at least 24 hours, except when you are sure you can complete it immediately. Most importantly, you need to time yourself daily. This is my working time, my time to go out and socialize as well as my time to sleep. You should also not be too conscious about the money, thereby taking every work even when you know you have so many pending work. With time, and when you are getting well paying projects, you can recruit 3 to 10 freelancers you can rely on. Even when the job is for 24 hours, ask them if they are available to work immediately and only give them jobs that they should deliver within 10 hours. If they fail, you still have 14 hours to do the job yourself, or give to another of your freelancer. Cheers.

And that was how they brainwashed my friend that year and the silly guy called me and told he's now working earning six figures plus accommodation.....My head scatter.....I was so desperate so I told him to link me up, nah so the yeye boy told me to come over the next day and meet his boss that he'll discuss with him on my behalf....

Next day I borrowed money from my Brother and travelled ,when I got to the location I noticed the place was a school they attached with to scam people, dirty looking unkempt ugly boys and girls walking upandan rehearsing what I never cared to understand.... I went to see the So-called accommodation ,what I saw was carton on bare ground....Holy Spirit!!!!!!! My mind spoil

I furiously entered for both the Silly Written and Oral interview ,I deliberately failed it but they hailed my Failure and said I passed excellently..... I TIRE!!!! (how I take reach here)

To cut the long story short I was attached to one girl that will guide me....told her lemme go home and bring clothes and cash and she allowed me....that was how I escaped !!!!!

Those people deserve a grenade in their midst I swear

Sorry sir.

Is it that if you scream on them and told them bluntly that you're not interested, they won't let you go?

Smartgeek.com.ng has way better traffic and promises $3.5 for 2k visits..my post already has 7k in less than a month. Anyone interested, send "Interested" to admin(@)smartgeek.com.ng

Why must the writer be the one working hard to bring traffic, considering the fact that they are paying a meagre $3.5?

Writers need to be appraised for their job. They belongs to the creative clan too.

Everyone can say, 'I want to be a musician' (due to how lucrative it is)

You rarely see someone say 'I want to be a writer' (because he would be told to spam for traffic before he can be paid a mere $2)

God help us.

Hello Nairalanders,

I have a football blog that generates about 20k page view per day, but don't have AdSense or money to buy.

I'm however open to a partnership with any Adsense owner, as long as we will share the earnings on an agreed ratio.

If interested, pls do comment below.

Thanks.

What is your whatsapp number bro?

Vanity, said the preacher.

Everything is vanity!

If the site belongs to someone else, can you yourself take up this offer?

Do you consider that this is illegal, and will prompt google to make things more difficult for Nigerian Online Publishers?

Do you consider that advertisers won't get any ROI and value for their money?

lalasticlala

God bless us all. Amen!

"Oh God, why did you allow my mum to die?"

"If God exist, why should we be suffering like this?"

"Why didn't God save that holy preacher from the accident?"

Are you farmiliar with any of those lines? Well...read on..

The Struture Of Things In Heaven

God lives in Heaven with His Angels and other heavenly beings. The only things known in Heaven are Joyfulness and Praise. And when God decide to create earth, He decide extending to earth the 'Heavenly Charateristics'- Joyfulness (enjoyment and peace of mind) and Praise (man having a relationship and fellowship with Him and Worshiping Him).

The creation story as recorded in the Bible (in Genesis chapters 1, 2, and 3) is a good proof to this.

God created every other things first (He made all provisions first), and then created man to take care of them (so man won't suffer for anything- as there is no suffering in Heaven)

Also, the Bible says:

"And they heard the sound of the LORD GOD walking in the garden in the cool of the day...Then the LORD GOD called to Adam and said to him, "where are you?" (Genesis 3:8,9)

The Bible verses we just read showed that God indeed desire a relationship and fellowship with humans.

But....

Sin Spoit Everything!

God is Holy. Due to His Awesome characteristics (and Principles) nothing dirty can stand before Him. And even in Heaven, when lucifer (one of His glorious Angels created in glamour) sinned, God sent him out of His presence straightaway (away from Heaven)

So, when Adam and his wife sinned, they were no more worthy to stand before God, and were sent away into a miserable world infested with sin, lust, wickedness, etc. That is why humans are suffering today. Sin sent humans into the cruel hands of the evil satan who keeps inflicting our world with sorrow, wickedness, diseases, lust, death, etc.

Is this how things will continue?

God had mercy on us and gave us a solution...

Jesus Christ

God decided giving humanity another chance so He sent Jesus Christ His Son into the world to die for the sins of humans, and make it able to have a relationship with Him again.

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6.

Since God's original plan for us is enjoyment and peace in His presence, He intended destroying this already corrupted world, which will give way to a new world.

God's original plan for us is that we should live a life of happiness, joy, in peace and abundance, in His presence forever. To be part of those who would live in the brand new world of Jesus Christ's kingdom (where there will be peace and enjoyment forever), you need to have accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. If you haven't given your life to Christ, do so now by saying this prayer:

"LORD JESUS. I admit that I'm a sinner, and I believe you came to this world to die for my sins. Please forgive me all my sins and wash me clean with Your Precious Blood which you shed on the cross of Calvary for me. Henceforth, I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Help me to be yours forever. Amen."

Congratulations if you say that prayer truthfully.

God will help us all know His will better. Amen.

Be straight forward Now.

Is it shorte you are talking about, or adfly?

When I see some comments on Nairaland, I'd just smile. Kids talking about politics ignorantly. If u've been following politics since 1990.. You'd know Ibori is a mentor and a Leader. Politically, Ibori is more influential,I repeat more influential than Tinubu. I laugh when I see people saying Buhari should arrest Ibori when he returns to Nigeria. Smh.. Even Buhari knows that if he dares, The militants will so deal with the pipelines as usual. The resource control causing dispute today, was what Ibori agitated for back in 2007, hence the reason OBJ decided to witch hunt him...

Ibori might not contest in 2019, but trust me, his presence would influence the results

Would his presence bring real transformation and real change into the life of the average Nigerian?

This is what I want you to talk about, brother.

Yes offcause I believe in the Ransome.

Thanks. Here is the second question.

Do you believe the gospel of Jesus Christ (I.e His birth, His death, His resurrection, His Ascension) is the power of God unto salvation? Romans 1:16

busybrain123:
Go ahead

Do you believe Jesus Christ came into this world to die for your sins, and that He is the ONLY access we have to God unto salvation?

AyamConfidence:
okay it is the gift of God...do not work for it and just be there hoping to reap where you didn't sow

Did you not read that "faith without works is dead?"

Wow! You guys are distorting the scriptures.

I'm proud of being one of JW...infect nothing in this world will make me leave that religion of love and peace..
note:I was not born as jw I became one of them after attending different churches...so there is nothing anybody can say or do that will make me leave that religion and I will die been one of them.
Remain loyal to Jehovah is one of the best and uplifting regional convention I have ever attend.

Bro, can I ask you something?

AyamConfidence:
bro you know you need to return to Jehovah that us if you weren't disfellowshipped from the congregation... You're not the first shy person... And you know we have the truth so I can't imagine you listening to lies in churches of Christendom... You need to return to Jehovah ASAP

What happens if one is 'disfellowshipped'?
