/ This is funny in a way. Fashola mobilized okada riders for his campaign. After he won, he banned okada in major areas and thousands of bikes were seized and destroyed. Sanwo-Olu cranked up ethnicism during his campaign. After he won, he rounded up all the Iragbiji destitute (who thought Lagos belong to them) and shipped them off to Osun You do realize that those that dutifully inform others that Lagos is a Yoruba state do not have even 1/4 plot of land to their names It is always the urchins./ |
DoWhatThouWilt:/ In this day and age, the only difference between unmarried couple and married couple is that the latter has a document of enslavement signed and backed by law. The overall benefits remain same. A live-in girlfriend may be better than most wives because of limited sense of entitlement--separation is usually less painful financially and otherwise for a man. / |
ppogba:/ The emphasis on Nigeria is because it is guaranteed with a devil's certificate of death in tandem as long as you wake up in Nigeria. Coming back home alive everyday is a miracle. / |
/ These are the roads that deserve highest priority before Umahi embark on Lagos-Calabar highway to patronize Chagoury brothers and Tinubu. / |
CodeTemplar:/ What we lack in the country is "professionals" with critical-thinking capacities. Just equip the local militia with bullets laced in pig blood. That will get the terrorists thinking twice about invasion. Psychological warfare it is. When captured, forcibly feed them pork. / |
/ Obligate consumption --bane of Africans. We are talking about kids graduating from Secondary school. You will be surprised that the country doesn't produce even toothpick but the citizens want to "ball" like citizens of highly industrialized nations. It reminds one of Congolese sapeurs living in abject poverty, wasting their meagre salaries on high end designer labels to impress God-knows-who. / |
/ Everyone doesn't want the system fixed. They are busy chasing money as the end forgetting that there comes a time money stacked in the Nigerian banks cannot save their lives. What do you call a hospital that refused to attend to a patient because of money? But then you can't really blame them because our people are very dishonest--they may refuse to pay later after treatments. Didn't Tinubu allegedly lose his son because they couldn't organize a PJ ambulance on time to take him to a UK hospital? / |
Paraman:/ No western organization is reputable in their dealings with third world and developing countries. / |
Nbkay23:/ So you really believe that ragtag BDC operators getting rationed daily $10k from CBN are responsible for weakening naira? Are they responsible for weakening Japanese yen and Turkish lira--both at multi-decades all time low too? Nigerian FG has blamed everyone but themselves. They know the solution and it ain't got nothing to do with Binance, Abokifx or BDC owners. It starts with Demand and Supply. Why the high demand for foreign currency in Nigeria? This should be the first basic question. / |

Kelvinofficial:/ Some of you are funny! You really believe that IOCs are selling off assets to indigenous companies. They are restructuring. Hands of Essau, voice of Jacob. The profits flow upstream to the bosses whose names do not appear in any official documents. Your indigenous companies are just faces of the operation. It is a tax haven for the IOCs. / |
Sweetphronesis:/ I perused to check on Reno Omokiri's father on the list. I guess he admitted that he is a son to a loser too. / |
/ Another question should be why someone will pay N1.3million for a drink s/he will pee out in 30 minutes. Some expenses are really stupid. Because one can afford it doesn't mean one should buy it. A bottle of Alomo bitters will get you up to the same level of highness. Heck! If you buy Azul N1.3m give me, I no go drink ![]() / |
/ If only some of you listened to voice of reasoning instead of being in bed with your emotions. Look below. It was on March 28th....and a month later you would have been sitting pretty fine. /
|
/ Nothing special. After all when Amechi abandoned Nigeria against common sense and embarked on building railway and road projects from the North to Niger Republic, some miscreants cheered him on as a purveyor of wonderful ideas. There exists a group of people whose jobs entail telling politicians that they have the best smelling fart of all. Surprised? Let's not forget that Daniel Kanu campaigned vigorously for Abacha to convert to a civilian President. When Abacha died, he faded into oblivion. Be prepared to listen to outrageous arguments by supporters of any government in power. It is not as if Lai Mohammed didn't abuse Nigerians enough with silly lies... I bet you if Tinubu reduces the minimum wage to N10k/month, these same individuals will tell you that it will help curb inflation, decrease money supply and support the naira. The government view them as useful idiots./ |
/ The statement is very unnecessary. The society needs those idiots to be distracted by religion to create room for serious people to progress. Everyone can’t be smart. / |
Anambra1stSonTV:/ This thread belongs to the jokes section. / |
/ Any Nigerian bragging about being proficient in English language is a fool. / |
/ Any place can be investors' paradise if enough people show interest. If Dubai and Qatar could go from deserts to tourists' attractions, I don't understand why people want to gamble their life savings in Lagos when there are many thriving, traffic-free, conducive cities in Nigeria. If you build, they must come. Nnewi is a case study example. Some idiots keep buying into the 1970s propaganda and ideology about Lagos. The world is a global village. You can order goods from China and have it delivered at Iragbaji contrary to what was obtainable in the 80s. My uncle has an office at Aba but he is mostly in the village yet things are moving on well. Technology is not just for "bombing" clients. / |
LocalFARMERS:/ No be who get NIN and BVN you go track and arrest? They no send FG directives like their southern coward counterparts who are quick to obey any stupid directives. Next time, the FG will ask everyone to go and scan their balls, and the southern people will gleefully queue up. / |
/ Pure exercise. Pure format to make it look like he goes to the mountain to fast and pray. But we know the sucker ain't gambling with ulcer. ![]() Fasting and praying is for the gullible Neanderthals. / |
/ So you mean all the prosperity prayers since 1980s in Nigeria is a total waste? Many are still paying tithes to pastors to be in number 1 position. If I were a neurosurgeon, I will really like to open the brain of a sample religious zombie in Nigeria to ascertain what's inside. / |
/ Heat too much ![]() No light. Una begin use generator, they increased fuel prices. Una still manage buy, they make it scarce. ![]() Someone is out to frustrate the living hell out of people. / |
/ It is a disservice to term it a misplaced priority. Actually it is the greatest act of wickedness and height of insensitivity to have Nigerians keep dying in accidents or being kidnapped due to the deplorable state of Federal roads while they embark on constructing new ones with no completion in sight. But then only an idiot will fight for Nigerians. Indifference is more preferable because somehow Nigeria always has ways of happening to those who turn blind eyes to atrocities therein. / |
Godfullsam:/ If I write as Taiwo Adeyinka, does that guarantee that I am a Yoruba especially considering the high level propaganda that APC is known for? / |
DeepThroater:/ You do realize that they must not buy your oil. Sometimes Nigeria finds it difficult to find buyers. Moving away from US dollars as a reserve currency is not what one country can do and that's why some are binding together to form BRICS+. Too many things are wrong. One is being an import-dependent nation. If you sell oil in naira, they will still need to source for US dollars for importation of goods and products for consumption into Nigeria. The other is the general disdain the people have for things produced in Nigeria. The insatiable quest for foreign goods is outrageous. / |
Kobicove:/ People realize a tad too late that they are walking corpses in Nigeria. It takes one little medical emergency for some of them to come face to face with reality. There comes a time when billions in the bank cannot save one from a minor event through negligence or indifference. May Nigeria not happen to anyone. / |
/ Those with APC flags next to their meters are excluded. / |
/ Ned knows that his suggestions won’t work because the economic blueprint of Nigeria is handed down by the colonialists via IMF, World bank. Why do you think Nigerian politicians find it more important to go to Chatham house than engage in public debate in Nigeria? US dollars is the world reserve currency. Nigeria cannot dictate what currency to sell their oil when they do not control oil price and the market. Sometimes they find it difficult to find buyers. 1% control the country. 4% are their puppets. 90% are asleep. 5% know and try to wake the 90%. The 1% use the 4% to prevent the 5% from waking the 90%. This scenario is obtainable in politics and religion. It is the world’s comfort zone. / |
GAZZUZZ:/ Only God can decide when they will refund you. AirPeace has not refunded me since April last year. So don't hold your breath. Why book a trip on that one aeroplane wonder called United Nigeria? I am surprised that you didn't report any fights at the ticketing counter--that's their trademark. United Nigeria and Dana Airlines have no business in commercial aviation. There should be a minimum number of aeroplanes (at least 4) in a fleet before getting a license in Nigeria. NB: It is funny how people are defending United Nigeria. No wonder Nigerian consumers are treated like pieces of shit because they can tolerate anything. MTN, DSTV, you name it--they do nonsense and get away with it because of unsolicited and unpaid public defenders we have ![]() / |
/ The price will reduce to about N500/liter. But fuel queues will return and it will be so scarce that people will be begging to buy at N800/liter if available. Believe APC propaganda machine at your own peril. It is an established pattern of behaviour--as soon as the VP Shettima gloated about naira, it took a nosedive back to N1400/$. / |
Orlu13:/ Umuna, Okporo abi Amaifeke man: Why not show the result of the secret DNA test you did to your dad instead of taking out your frustrations online? / |

Government funds, Most Politicians in Abuja prefer to use the Bureau d change cos it’s a seamless way of Transaction, No one can hold you, No amount is too much, Infact the bigger the amount the Better they friends with you. Street transaction of Dollars is still the same as Spending dollars in the economy. You won’t see other Countries allowing other currencies to be Transferable in the Streets, We have to put a stop to this Menace if we want to save this Country from Collapsing
