/ Go and read the original version of the Bible written in Greek. Stop relying on the watered down, lost in translation English version of events. This is assuming that the story told by a third party many decades or centuries after the supposed creation is true. There are too many unanswered questions about creationism. Did God create water? Did God create darkness? Where did Cain's wife come from? If Cain married Avan from the land of Nod, who created the parents and the people of Nod? I believe that if the story in Genesis were an African folklore, most of you would call it a total bullshit. But coming from colonialists, impressionable people hold it as the absolute truth. / |
/ That's the beauty of serious nations in arms race. No country is 100% attack proof. It will put them back to the drawing table to ascertain what went wrong and apply the necessary fix. Other countries like China, Russia, etc will start upgrading their systems too. Why do you think there are periodic updates in your phone apps? New bugs, new patches/fixes, new updates. It is a normal cycle in anything technology. So far the attack is inconsequential because the market brushed it off. Reactions are muted. / |
nawaforyouo:/ People who are engaged in real life $ transactions know that the rate they are getting doesn't match what they read online or newspapers. ![]() / |
/ So IMF is telling FG what is good for Nigeria and they obliged. The President is not in-charge of the country then. / |
/ What is Nigeria's Air defence system? ![]() Please don't tell me olive oil. / |
/ She has the right but she must remember that the lady that got killed a few years ago hasn't got justice yet and probably will not. Her primary concern now should be how to stay away from flashpoints. / |
TMSMedia:/ Very distasteful! The husband should be very worried. She still thinks a lot about the ex and any little opportunity, she will run back to him. / |
/ Nuclear weapon is the only real deterrent in the global arena. The countries that possess nuclear capabilities are always welcomed to the negotiation table. The rest are noisemakers. / |
/ Remittance exchange rate is still above N1100/$. Go figure! / |
/ Why the hide-and-seek game? Didn't Yahaya learn anything from Rochas Okorocha's saga? EFCC only makes noise with no bite. They prefer drama to prosecution. The sooner he honours the invitation, the better for him. If he had gone with them yesterday, he would have been home today chilling and the case will die a natural death like the ones before him. / |
/ Simple solution. Stop selling or donating arms to Israel. Case closed. But war profiteers don't want to hear that. / |
/ Switzerland, Japan and many countries tried it multiple times and failed woefully long-term. Let's see how it plays out. / |
/ There is a reason that Nigerian pastors are not going on evangelism in Sambisa forest. Everything mustn't be spelled out. Common sense reigns supreme. She should know better. / |
Timmi:/ For now, naira has 2-3 more weeks lifeline left. Take it or leave it. / |
/ As at yesterday, the US dollar is at its highest rate against major currencies since November last year while naira is gaining ground. So CBN is truly burning through the reserves to provide liquidity. It will be short-lived. During Buhari 's era, naira fell from N195 to N465 and it caused an uproar to the point that Ifeanyi Uba volunteered his unsolicited support to contain the tide. Finally, it settled at N350. Now naira ran down to N1900 and fell back down to N1000. A big relief if I may add. Jerome Powell noted yesterday that there will be no more rate hike in US for this year even though inflation is still way above the targeted 2% going by the CPI report last week. All eyes are on equities to drive flight to US dollars if shockwaves hit the stock market. Plan: Continue to hold dollar-backed assets. Nigerian voodoo economy is not known to stand the test of time. This is a very long-term outlook not meant for speculators. / |
nlfpmod:/ Is this just for photo-ops or IG because their impacts are never felt? / |
sonnie10:/ They can always increase their prices to be profitable especially as we have a teaming population of individuals who are hellbent on frying their kidneys intentionally. / |
/ I don't see anything wrong in extorting those who publicly display that they have more than enough to waste ![]() / |
/ They use to talk about 1000 ways to die. In Nigeria, it is 1,000,000 ways to die. The pursuit of everything Oyibo be it cosmetics, medications, food and/or beverages is a nuclear bomb waiting to explode. Invest in a Dialysis center in Nigeria. The outlook is very promising ---for lack of a better word than connotes suicidal ideation among Nigerians. / |
/ Even in the Bible, Israeli peace was always short-lived. It was from one bad condition to worse conditions including slavery, sojourn in the wilderness. As recent as in the 20th Century, Hitler struck. One would think that they will start embracing peace instead of fanning the fire of hatred and war. They may have high tech military hardwares but they will never sleep with both eyes closed. What kind of life is that? So the essence of their existence is to continue living in strife? USA will be thousands of miles away providing support because the financial engine of their military industrial complex must be oiled. But who is dying? US will never allow war in her own backyard ![]() In killing many innocent civilians in crossfire, they have ended up creating more radicalized youths in Palestine. In other words, this war will continue till eternity with some periods of graveyard peace to recover. / |
/ After listening to many senior military and Intelligence officers in the Iran-Israel conflict, I must admit that Iran played a fast one on Israel and her Western counterparts. Imagine doing a pre-announced "mock' attack so that Israel and her allies can expose the capabilities of their defense system and the much touted iron dome. Scott Ritter succinctly elaborated on this scheme. / |
SarkinYarki:/ Nigerians would never understand. In a country where citizens' brains have been ravaged with corruption and nepotism, they'd expect the government official to bypass due process and offer her automatic employment as "PA in Nothing". / |
/ Tech jobs always go through boom and burst cycle. Tesla alone is laying off 16,000 (10% of its workforce). It has been a layoff galore in major tech companies this year. This should be a wakeup call to those who are still employed--the road ahead is bumpy. / |
officialwdhtvv:/ I find it interesting that a brand new Chevy stingray 2024 is about $70k-$85k depending on options while a used 2021 Chevy Stingray in the hand of a Nigerian is $556k. Who knows? Maybe he bought his own from the planet Jupiter. / ![]() |
Freshtruth:/ Sack her! Or the least, reprimand and inform her that her employment is in jeopardy if the disrespect continues. You owe no allegiance to her. Choose between her and you who will leave the employment. Two of you can no longer work together. It can only get worse. Unless there is a misappropriation of funds, I don't think the owner of the hotel cares. / |
/ Marriage was killed once government got fully involved and made it a business contract in which one party is rewarded more if the contract is breached. Children used to be seen as blessings from God but these days women have turned it into a bargaining chip and a handcuff to chain unsuspecting men into financial slavery. Many men opt for love gamble without signing the dotted line to avoid stories that touch especially the "no-fault" divorce laws. A woman professing love for a successful man these days is not different from a yahoo guy fishing for clients. / |
/ Nigerian government knows how to announce one good policy to cheer up and distract useful idiots and then discreetly revert to some policies that keep the gravy train of corruption in constant motion. / |
jesusjnr2020:/ Now reverse the roles. Imagine going from the same Abuja - PH and the lady sitting next to you starts preaching marine spirit or Sango to you. Would you have been receptive to her message? Or you think that you are the only one with the theories that deserve audience? / |
Offpoint1:/ ![]() The gullibility of black folks in Africa is second to none. Jesus is their iron dome. / |
/ Instead of hyping Israel, Iran, Ukraine or Russia...if Nigerians are people with functional brains...this would have been a time for introspection. They would have been asking pertinent questions: What does Nigeria possess to protect herself against external aggression? / |
/ Sometimes people who mean no harm may be tempted to harm you if you are very braggadocious ![]() Trying to "pepper" others can lead to deadly consequences. Cover your drink ![]() / |
Jilted Ti said: 'My wife has always been very religious. We even met at the local temple./ That's the huge red flag. "Religious" lady. Flee! / |
