Politics › Re: North-West, South-West Lead As INEC Registers 96.2 Million by Invitationn: 12:56pm On Aug 02, 2022 |
ChangedMan1999: Umunna, lekwa
North West 22.67 million voters
North East 12.8 million voters
North Central 14.1 million voters
South West 18.3 million voters
South East 11.49 million voters
South South 15.2 million voters
Don't give any idiot opportunity to tell you South East( Ndigbo) doesn't have significant population.
For certain more than 98% of 11.49 million of the registerd voters in South East are nothing but Ndigbo; People of other ethnic groups don't like staying or living in South East.
More than 30% percent South East people are not living in the South East.
Majority of this more than 30% lives in South West.
The rest are in South South and North.
Now, if you take a look at 18.3 million voters from South West you will see that not less than 4 million are South West based South Easterners.
And if you look at 15.2 million voters from South South you will see that not less than 2 million of the voters are South South based South Easterners.
Apart from South South based South Easterners, there are South South people who identify and are Ndigbo.
More than 4 million South Easterners are based in the North. And they registerd there.
If you add all this numbers together you will see that Yoruba actually doesn't have more people than Ndigbo

onuman: Why did Tinubu not see that it's the turn of the Igbo in the SE to produce a successor to President Buhari? He started the division of the south. The Southeast is entitled. What do you mean it's the turn of SE? Like everyone should stepdown and let only southeasterners contest? You gotta be kidding me. No one is complaining about division except you. We both know that the SE will not vote Tinubu even without Obi in the race. Anyone but Tinubu |

onuman: When a thing is stage-managed, you can't understand. Kwontinue. If north wanted the APC ticket, nothing, not even 100 Tinubus, could have stopped a northerner to win APC presidential ticket last time. Tactics to keep respect. See another thing at play: Tinubu and Obi shall divide southerners and the middle belt votes for an Atiku to win. Ntoooooor. When you consider the numbers you're spot on. But we need each other. A northern candidate cannot win the party ticket with the support of the north alone too. That said, you're being irrational with your fat conspiracy theories. So they gave Tinubu the ticket because they saw Obi moved to LP, to divide southern votes to pave way for Atiku Atiku is also well informed of this generous and very kind coup by his political adversaries You've all of a sudden shelved your "because he's old and he's going to die and Shettima will take over theory"? |

onuman: Perhaps a Professor is less qualified than an agbero who has loads of money. This is Nigeria where people worship money.
Yemi Osinbajo is a million times more qualified than Bola Tinubu, to preside over Nigeria.
The northern political caucus purposely gave APC ticket to Tinubu to enable power return to the north quicker. They gave ticket to him Geez! We both saw how the same northern caucus under Adamu's leadership had an abortive coup by declaring Ahmad Lawan as the consensus candidate. See how you keep tripping from "he bought the delegates" to "they purposely gave him the ticket...". And this where Nigerians misconceptualizes being a professor, being qualified and being competent. We already saw how qualified Osinbajo is under this administration. |

Tinibu just dey wash una...dey collect tax anyhow una dey call Lagos prosperous....mind you I lived in Lagos for 5yrs I realise the town is a waste and moved out .. Tell me a more prosperous state in Nigeria or STFU! You moved out because you're lazy, no offense! If you take any offense keep it Your response is predictable. Homework: First Question, why did the colonials built the port in Lagos in the first place? Why?? Second question is, why is the FG building another port(Lekki deep port) in Lagos? Third, why are the ports in other states not functioning? Go and find out and revert. |

Also if Peter Obi was the one that had a meeting with ASUU without ending the strike, you guys would have accused him of telling ASUU to not end the strike. That'll be irrational of me. He's an ordinary citizen like myself. He doesn't have the keys to the treasury. This is a money problem, even if he reaches an agreement with ASUU, the FG will still have to accept and implement the agreement before the strike is called off. |

The contest today ought to narrow down between Kwankwaso Rabiu and Obi Peter. How come? What's special about Kwankwaso and Obi apart from being younger? And less corrupt maybe but you have to consider their ages. If you ask me, I would say, by the time Obi and Kwankwaso are Atiku and Tinubu's age you Gerrit? Better qualified candidates like who? Like Osinbajo just because he's a professor? |

9jalyte: Why is everywhere quiet. I feel so disappointed with some Yorubas that market Tinubu as the best they can offer. They have automatically de-marketed themselves as lacking in Presidential material, even when we know they have fantastic guys that are waaay qualified to make a refined and a president the reflects the future Nigerians are aspiring to have. Jokes apart, the North is playing a card on the Yoruba's head if they don't know. They know, and say it, that Yorubas supported Buhari thinking that he will die, so that they will take power. They want to give them the package in its real form and to avenge the Yaradua issue.
You people should drop this ego fight and get serious with what is facing us- saving Nigeria. I am sure, even the supporters of BAT know deep-down that he is a hard sale. Unfortunately, ethnic shells are covering our eyes, others think it is like being in ManU and other in Arsenal and you have to support your club no matter. Guys, this is a serious business, Nigeria is collapsing, and the architects of it's destruction are busy pumping their ego as the "owners of Nigeria". Be wise! Well, last time I checked, Tinubu contested the primaries with over 20 other aspirants and emerged. It wasn't the Yorubas that bought the ticket for him or nominated him. This is democracy ffs! And it's not your business why anyone is supporting him. He's a hard sale he's a hard sale he became APC flag bearer. Oh, he bribed the delegates. He's a hard sale he's a hard sale until he becomes the president. Buhari was a hard sale but he sold Obi and Atiku are hard sale too, but as a political neophyte you won't understand. By 2023, you'd know the who's a hard sale. Lol |

Expect a continuation of useless security, fec and other meetings that have no impact on the economy if Tinubu becomes the president. Tinubu upto this point is still a private citizen who volunteered to mediate on behalf of the FG. Same way OBJ mediated with Boko Haram on his own Accord and recommended solutions to the FG. It's upto the FG to review the recommendation and act on it. But don't whitewash the facts, Lagos state owned institutions are not on strike. |

Once tinubu wins the next election, complete economic collapse for the next 100 years. This una irrational Tinubu economic doomsday theory is nonsensical. Lagos is by far the most prosperous and industrialized state in Nigeria. One of the very few working states and the best of them. The surplus investment and commercial prosperity is what's flowing to Ogun- the second most industrialized state in Nigeria. Of course you can argue Lagos was prosperous before Tinubu, but you can't deny that the brain behind the sustenance of these economic prosperities, the stability and the enabling business environment in Lagos is Tinubu. MadeInTokyo: Protest votes... you are right Most of this new voters registrations are triggered by Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) aggressive voters registration campaigns across churches every Sunday and at Christian gatherings and also Peter Obi supporters Sanwolu should just focus on his reelection and try as best as possible to avoid associating himself with Tinubu's Presidential campaign all the time, cos this Muslim Muslim ticket issue will causes lot of protest votes across the country in 2023 against several politicians and ,make some politicians lose their election, which is same reason Taraba APC Governorship candidate has come out to deny he endorsed Tinubu ticket. You may be right. But it's still very sketchy. But let's enjoy the speculations. If the Christians want to vote by religion then the Muslims will do same. The excess FDI made Ogun the second most industrialized state. Lagos' 2021 H1 IGR is 31% of the total IGR generated by the other 35 states + the FCT. These strides ain't coincidence - if it were, your state won't be lagging behind. Facts! Those are Tinubu's legacies as a governor of Lagos after the end of military juntas reign.
