Datevilme: The wait times I’m seeing are crazy, closest date I can see is 2025. Is there a way to get a closer appointment date?
I have a conference towards the end of this year I’d like to attend, not sure if I should request expedited processing. When I first booked, I went with the available date I saw (oct 2024) then went back to reschedule and got Nov 2023 and went back again to reschedule and got May 2023 and I just settled for that (my friend was lucky to get April 11th and already got her visa). The idea is just book any available date and then go back to keep checking for a closer date. I'm most certain you'll get a date before the end of the year, you just need to keep checking and checking and checking |

aestake: Appointment? That thing is having 2025 date for Toronto. You can get a closer date is someone cancels his/her appointment. You just have to keep checking |

ednut1: https://nigeriahcottawa.ca/e-passport/ read this, you are to pay online on the immigration website and also take draft/cheque of 50 cad to the embassy This draft/cheque thing isn't very clear to me. Do I just go to my bank and ask them to raise a draft/cheque for me in the name of the high commission? |

Please has anyone applied for US visit visa as a Canadian PR recently?
I need some guidance, not sure how to start. Two of my friends just got their visas as PRs and I have an appointment for next month. What would you need help with? |

Mmamaroon: Just a guess....
I would say YES, include them in personal history.
You could indicate "remote work" or "online" after the name of the company and update your current location as City, Country. Thank you, boss. The option to choose is 'EMPLOYMENT', correct? There's no self-employed option. Under the job title, I used 'Freelance writing' |

I received ITA in the last draw and I need your opinion filling my personal activities for the last 10years.
I have a full-time job which I have used to claim my work experience, but I have been working as a freelance writer on Upwork and Fiverr for like 4 years now and on-going. My earnings from my freelance work forms like 50% of my POF which reflects in my SOA.
Do I need to include them in my personal activities section? If yes, I'm not sure where I should enter as the Country/City. |

Would it be a problem if my reference letter is in black and white? My place of work has been very reluctant to give me a reference letter and after much back and forth, I was given an A4 letter head paper in black and white. I don't know if this will be an issue for me |

It is heartbreaking seeing people score high in LRS but fall short in writing.
If you've written more than twice with at most 6.5 in writing, you can send me a PM and I can help you review your letter and essay drafts and also make corrections where necessary. I am not a 'writing expert', just helping those in dire need to improve in the little way I can. I had 7.5 in my writing tests with both BC and MOD IDP. |

TimFisher2: Sai Baba forever! Seems you're a new recruit to the BMC crew. I checked your previous posts, you've been making comments in support of Saraki and against Buhari (even referring to him as a tyrant) but now all of a sudden you now love Sai Baba so much, up to the extent that you won't mind campaigning for his skeleton to win come 2019. What exactly are you? |

CTechHub: I'm a bit good at doing graphic designing. I'm proficient in corel, Photoshop and illustrator.
Please, I need advice on how to take it up from fiverr.
Thanks in advance I've been unavailable for way too long and I just got back to see this. You have to tone up your skill to a professional level, 'bit good' isn't good enough. Sometimes as a new seller what can give you a good head start is if you have a portfolio of your previous work. Many clients demand it and they use it to check how good you are. I advise you visit the business session regularly, that's where I got 95% info on how to get started on Fiverr and freelancing in general. It's a DIY thing and you can do it too. All the best |

nusetron: Dear Pharmacist, I consider you to be a very lucky person to have stumbled on this thread early enough. 1. Don’t bother yourself first about the exams it is pretty too early but if you have some spare time you can go to PEBC.ca to read about the exams and required study materials. 2. You are just starting internship, thus all funds earned during this process is not to be spent but saved for the journey ahead, you should also get a Locum job to enhance your earnings. 3. Commencement of the journey in your case is more of mental preparation because you can’t start anything concrete until after your internship by then you would be considered fully licensed. 4. Websites of interest should be PEBC.ca and http://www.pharmacistsgatewaycanada.ca. You would get to know the financial implication of the journey. 5. I would advise you keep in touch with admin personnels in your school because their help would soon be required for transcript collection. 6. If you need further clarification do not hesitate to pm me.
@iphenon God bless you Sir. I sent you a pm |

Good morning everyone. I just stumbled on this thread and about to start my journey reading through from the beginning. Are there Pharmacist here that work in Canada? I'd really like to connect and ask questions about the professional exams one will have to take to practice in Canada. I'm a Pharmacist, about to start internship (and then service, so I still have a long way to go ) but I've always thought of leaving the country so I want to start familiarizing myself with the travel process well before hand. |

Good evening everyone, I just have one question to ask. Is there a difference between those blocks with holes and those without in terms of strength? I was talking with my dad and he said there's no difference, one is 9inches and the other is 6inches. That's all. Please pardon the 'silly' question, I'm a greenhorn when it comes to building |
