So I felt I could Up my game as a social worker with Personal Support Worker Programme would be an academic plus for me. But I guess being a theater art certificate holder and being a freelance writer for advertising did not play out well. Please advise what I should do from here. Thanks browse for your time. |

[quote bayocanny:Hi Bay, I just checked my CIC account for my application update, and I noticed that the eligibility colum states that " I have been declared not legible for my choice of course" every other colum states that I will be notified if there are any further changes. Meanwhile, the final decision colum is still blank. I got a bit confused about not being legible for my chosen course. My letter of admission clearly stated that my status of admission in non-conditional. Please what's your take on this . However I have moved on rather than being emotionally weighed down. =bayocanny post=60990199]Irohak, I saw your email, what's up?
|

matic12:I applied on the 8TH of August 2017. |
Hello, Please inform I need your candid advice. I just checked my CIC account to know the update with my student visa application. I discovered that under the eligibility colum, I have been declared "not legible" for the course I applied for. Meanwhile, my letter of admission sates that the status of my admission is "UNCONDITIONAL " However, every other colum still states that I will be notified if a decision is taken. In all these, the column for final decision is still blank. Please tell me what do you make of this? |
Sorry I couldn't reply your email. If I may ask, when did your submit your application? Try to link your apps at midnight or better still relax a little bit, that is if your apps has just been submitted lately. Hi Bay, I actually submitted my application on the 8th of August 2017. When can I likely from CIC? And thanks your advise worked the very next day i tried linking my application. |
I submitted my paper application on the 8th of August 2017. But I have been tracking updates via VFS website. Currently ,it states that it is being processed. Thanks for your response. bayocanny: |

Hi Please advise me , are there any particular reason(s) why I have been going througn a tough time just to link my paper application to my online account. I have been trying to get this done in the past three (3) weeks. Or could it be that my application hasn't been logged into their system yet? Do you have comments or advise to share on this? Thanks for your time. Kelechi |
Hi Afghan71, Sorry to bother you. I have been struggling to live know my application for the past one month. I made a photocopy of my paper application I have looked at my details critically just to be sure I'm other making any mistakes yet I keep getting the prompt that says " we can find the application that matches your details." However, I have been tracking my application via the VSF website. Hello Afehin71, Insufficient funds is not all about the SOA balance. It may also mean lump sum deposited into the account without showing proof of the source of the money and so on. Family ties means proof that you have ties in Nigeria. It also ranges from ties such as your parents, siblings, to land documents if you have any and so on. Purpose of study may mean that the course you chose doesn't show progression. Travel history is most times "jara". Many people have gotten Canada study permit as first time travelers. It is about your travel history and not your dad's travel history. In summary, order your GCMS notes first for the detailed analysis (reason for refusal).
|
bayocanny:Thanks again Bay. I can't seem to understand or locate the " imm 56452" .like you advised that I don't need to fill the visitors visa application that means we don't need "imm 5257E" on the list. However, these are the forms I have and have already filled out. 1. Imm1294E 2. Imm 5832E 3. Imm 5483E 4. Imm 5645E Please, am I in order? |
bayocanny:Bay, thanks so much. I have been able to fill the right former and have validated like you advised. Please one more thing. Do I need to fill the Statutory Declaration of Common-law Union? Do I also need to fill the Application for Visitor Visa. Thanks bro for bringing me this far. |
Thanks so much I have been able to fill the forms properly and the barcodes generated. But please one more thing , my chosen programme will only last for one year and six months. I don't intend to travel with my wife and kids.so, I'm wondering if I actually need to fill out the Statutory Declaration of Common-law Union |
bayocanny:Yes I mean all the IMM forms. There are about 5 different forms to be filled. And this includes the Lagos Visa Office Instructions form which encapsulates the content of all other forms mentioned here. I have downloaded the Study Permit Application Form( Lagos Visa Office Instructions) and have meticulously filled it with Adobe Auto fill. Please note that am applying via paper and NOT ONLINE. so how can I possibly generate a barcodes for a paper application? Thanks for your time and concern |
Thanks for your response. I just downloaded the forms and filled them via paper route and not online which has been extremely difficult. So, am wondering how these barcodes will be generated? |
