Trump have opened the Pandora's box and he doesn't know that.
All I see is Afghanistan 3.0 loading. The racist uncouth swine should ask about kandahar. Till date many American marines still have nightmares about that place.

Foreign Affairs › US Allies Balk At Trump’s Appeal To Help Secure Strait Of Hormuz by Ironfaceman(op): 3:40pm On Mar 17 |
Two months after Donald Trump disparaged NATO allies for what he cast as their lackluster efforts in Afghanistan, the US president has warned that the alliance faces a “very bad” future if those same allies fail to support the United States in securing the Strait of Hormuz, which Iran effectively closed after it was attacked by the US and Israel.“It’s only appropriate that people who are the beneficiaries of the strait will help to make sure that nothing bad happens there,” Trump said Sunday in an interview with the Financial Times. “If there’s no response or if it’s a negative response, I think it will be very bad for the future of NATO.”Trump’s latest threat against the alliance has put Europe in a bind. Since Trump’s return to the White House, European leaders have taken plenty of punishment from Washington — in the form of tariffs, tirades and territorial threats — so as not to jettison US support for Ukraine. Now, Trump appears to be upping his price, asking that US allies do “whatever it takes” to secure the strait, through which a fifth of the world’s oil ordinarily flows. But this time, American allies have balked at Trump’s request to send warships to help transport oil through the strait, suggesting there is a limit to how far Europe will go to keep Trump onside in Ukraine and demonstrating the upshot of Trump’s derisive attitude toward alliances.“This war has nothing to do with NATO. It is not NATO’s war,” a spokesman for German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said Monday. “Participation has not been considered before the war and is not being considered now.”German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius also dismissed Trump’s request. “What does … Trump expect a handful or two handfuls of European frigates to do in the Strait of Hormuz that the powerful US Navy cannot do?” he asked. “This is not our war; we have not started it.”The comments were a far cry from the tentative support that Merz voiced during a White House visit for the US-Israeli assault on Iran. Sitting next to Trump in the Oval Office on March 3, Merz said the US and Germany were “on the same page” in terms of getting rid of “this terrible regime in Tehran.” Kaja Kallas, the European Union’s foreign policy chief, also responded frostily to Trump’s request for help, saying the strait is “out of NATO’s area of action.” On Monday, foreign ministers from EU countries discussed options to secure the Strait of Hormuz, but there was “no appetite” for expanding their naval operations in the region, Kallas said.
“This is not Europe’s war, but Europe’s interests are directly at stake,” she said. Officials in Italy, Japan and Australia also said their countries would not take part in efforts to reopen the strait. Even countries that signaled a willingness to help did so only vaguely. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said his government is working with allies to reopen the strait, without providing details. Earlier this month, when Starmer considered sending British aircraft carriers to the Middle East, Trump told him not to bother. “We don’t need people that join Wars after we’ve already won!” he wrote on Truth Social.https://edition.cnn.com/2026/03/16/europe/us-allies-trump-help-strait-hormuz-intl

You just hit the nail on the head. There are many women out there looking for men to pull down. Dr dk Olukoya started his journey in the 80s and built his ministry over the course of time. Now one thing because she can open tiktok is talking thrash. I'm so happy for MFM and hope the Nigeria court can follow suit. djseanjohn77: 90% of allegations from a Nigerian woman against men are often false. 70% are often initiated by them, when you opt for pull out, they will use everything against you to run you down. They have often succeeded in Nigeria, using their bromance with Nigerian forces and system to get their way 9the popular ones).
To succeed in life, avoid them, to excel as a an of God, keep distance, they will throw themselves at you, and still turn to blame you for it. Women naturally seek a powerful man, an influential man, spiritual man - That's why you see them always around these people in their numbers. They do not have problems o, they just want to bring you down just as they brought holy men down. Jesus himself succeeded because he had men around him even in privacy always 9John and Peter were always closest to him, even Judas when others are not there. |

The Baltimore County Court, Maryland, United States of America, has slammed $300,000 damages on Olufunke Ashekun for defaming the Mountain of Fire and Miracles, MFM, ministries USA Incorporated and its founder, Dr Daniel Olukoya
Recall that Ashekun and MFM have been in a legal battle following her posts and campaigns on social media, which the church considered defamatory and offensive.
A statement by the church on Sunday said the jury having found Ashekun guilty of “defamation and false light”, it was ruled that she pays the church compensatory damages in the sum of $250,000 and punitive damages in the sum of $50,000 to serve as a deterrent for unfounded allegations.
The court noted that the plaintiff proved its case beyond every reasonable doubt even as it regretted what it described as “weak, inadmissible evidence and witnesses” of the defendant.
It further noted that Ashekun’s campaign negatively affected the professional integrity of Mountain of Fire and the church’s reputation.
Parts of the statement read, “In a judgment handed down by the Circuit Court of Baltimore County Maryland on the 13” of March 2026 in the matter of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries USA, INC v Olufunke Ashekun, the plaintiff successfully prosecuted its claims of Defamation and False Light resulting in a binding Court order against Olufunke Ashekun for compensatory damages in the sum of $250,000 and punitive damages in the sum of $50,000.
“In granting the judgment and damages, the Court recognized the prolonged intense and malicious campaign conducted by Olufunke Ashekun against Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries USA, INC. who was seriously concerned by the reach and extent of her destructive rhetoric.”
The statement also disclosed that a day to the ruling by the jury, Funke Ashekun slumped when she realized that the case was already overwhelmingly against her and was taken out from the court by an emergency 911 Ambulance.
It noted that the following day, her husband suffered the same fate of slumping in court when the jury made its pronouncement. https://dailypost.ng/2026/03/15/us-court-slams-300000-fine-on-ashekun-for-defaming-mountain-of-fire-ministries/

Crime › US Court Sentences Nigerian To Eight Years For $1.3 Million Tax Fraud Scheme by Ironfaceman(op): 6:24am On Mar 16 |
A United States federal court has sentenced a Nigerian national, Matthew Akande, to eight years in prison for masterminding a cyber fraud scheme that defrauded the U.S. government of more than $1.3 million through fraudulent tax filings
Akande, 37, was sentenced on Tuesday by U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani in Boston, according to a statement published on the U.S. government’s website.
In addition to the prison term, he was ordered to pay $1,393,230 in restitution and will serve three years of supervised release upon completion of his sentence
The statement read in part: “A Nigerian national living in Mexico, who was extradited to the United States, was sentenced yesterday in federal court in Boston for his role in a scheme to break into Massachusetts tax preparation firms’ computer networks and to file fraudulent tax returns
Authorities said Akande was arrested in October 2024 at Heathrow Airport in the United Kingdom at the request of U.S. officials and was extradited to the United States on March 5, 2025.
He had earlier been indicted by a federal grand jury in July 2022 on multiple charges, including conspiracy, wire fraud, unauthorized access to protected computers, theft of government funds and aggravated identity theft
Prosecutors revealed that between June 2016 and June 2021, Akande and his accomplices carried out phishing attacks targeting tax preparation firms in Massachusetts.
The fraudulent emails, disguised as inquiries from prospective clients, were designed to trick recipients into installing remote-access trojan malware, including a program known as Warzone RAT
According to the statement, “Akande worked with others to steal money from the United States government using taxpayers’ personally identifiable information (PII) to file fraudulent tax returns in the taxpayers’ names.”
Investigators said the malware enabled the group to access clients’ personal information and prior-year tax records.
Using the stolen data, they filed more than 1,000 fraudulent tax returns seeking over $8.1 million in refunds.
The refunds were directed to bank accounts opened by co-conspirators in the United States, who withdrew the funds in cash and transferred a portion to third parties in Mexico at Akande’s direction.
“In total, Akande and his coconspirators filed more than 1,000 fraudulent tax returns seeking over $8.1 million in fraudulent tax refunds over approximately five years.
“They successfully obtained over $1.3 million in fraudulent tax refunds,” the statement added https://dailypost.ng/2026/02/19/us-court-sentences-nigerian-to-eight-years-for-1-3m-tax-fraud-scheme/

Please I never disparaged Nigeria or called it names. I only pointing to a fact why people travel to find success in a foreign Land because the system in their own country has been rigged. Tribalism is a major problem in Nigeria , you and I know that, corruption too is another. Nigeria has built a system that rewards medioctres. And these bunch will ever let that system flourish. I remember Francis obikwelu Nigerian track and field athlete. Although he was a top athlete in Nigeria this guy complain of poverty. AFN keep treating him like he doesn't matter until he switch nationality. In Portugal obikwelu made money, was respected and loved. He was able to send his sisters to the US. What if obikwelu had believed in AFN he would have ended up like Seun ogunkoya. Dude regrets why he didn't switch nationality when the opportunity was calling. Hoodrat: What you experienced was one individual’s tribal bias, not the entire Lagos system, not the entire Nigerian society, and certainly not a justification to paint a whole state as inherently against you. A single gatekeeper with a small mind does not represent millions of people. Reducing an entire city to the actions of a few is the same flawed thinking that fuels the insecurity you claim to have escaped.
And let’s be honest.. Becoming a citizen in another country and rising in their system doesn’t erase your roots it simply shows what structure, fairness, and opportunity can do when combined with personal effort. That’s admirable. But it doesn’t mean Nigeria is incapable of producing the same outcomes. What’s unfair is pretending that your success abroad automatically proves that home is worthless. It doesn’t. It only proves that you found a place that worked for you not that everyone else must abandon theirs.
The truth is this One bad experience does not invalidate the dignity of building at home. And one person’s foreign success does not make Nigeria a wasteland. People need to stop using isolated personal stories to shame others into believing their country has nothing to offer. That mindset is exactly what pushes desperate people into dangerous, reckless japa attempts the same pressure that killed your colleague.
Success is not tied to geography, but disrespecting your own land because one person disrespected you is not wisdom it’s projection. |

Foreign Affairs › Stop Taking Pictures Of Iranian Missile Impacts, UK Warns Britons In UAE by Ironfaceman(op): 6:28pm On Mar 14 |
The United Kingdom (UK) Embassy in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has warned British nationals not to photograph or share images of Iranian missile impacts, after a 60-year-old British tourist was charged under cybercrime laws in Dubai for allegedly filming missiles over the city. According to the embassy, the warning follows the man’s detention after authorities discovered a video of a strike on his phone. The arrest was linked to laws in the UAE that prohibit publishing or sharing material considered harmful to public security. Radha Stirling, chief executive of the organisation, Detained in Dubai, said the tourist had been detained under those regulations. In a statement posted on X, the British Embassy reminded travellers that local laws apply to all visitors. “British nationals are subject to UAE laws; violations may lead to fines, imprisonment, or deportation,” the embassy said in a statement on X. According to the BBC, the embassy also relayed a warning from local authorities. The statement added: “UAE authorities warn against photographing, posting, or sharing images of incident sites or projectile damage as well as government buildings and diplomatic missions.” Stirling said authorities had taken action against multiple people over online posts about the strikes. She said 21 people had been “charged together under the UAE’s cyber-crime laws in connection with videos and social media posts relating to the recent missile strikes”. She added that she believed the UAE was cracking down on people filming missiles to “maintain the facade that it is safe for tourists”. Criticism of the government is illegal in the UAE, where officials maintain strict control over the flow of information. Lana Nusseibeh, the country’s minister of state to the EU, told the BBC the rules were designed to protect the public She said “the basis of the legislation” around controlling the sharing of information in the UAE was put in place “in order for everyone to feel safe”. For years, Dubai has built a reputation as a major destination for expatriates and tourists, attracting people seeking business opportunities and luxury travel. But the city has been affected by the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. The war involving the United States, Israel, and Iran has now entered its second week. Tribune Online reports that Iran has continued retaliatory attacks after the US and Israel carried out large-scale strikes on Iran, killing the country’s supreme leader on 28 February. Some of the UAE’s best-known landmarks have reportedly been damaged, including the Fairmont The Palm in the Palm Jumeirah area and the Burj Al Arab hotel. What happened to isaiah 45:2,success comes with understanding.. From the young man's ac out his will has been defeated. For this type he is a candidate of the grave. All I saying there are signs God must have given him. But he can't understand hence his predicament. grandstar: Do you think God blesses Japa?
There is nothing wrong if you japa, but it you must, respect Gods word. You want to travel on a tourist visa and start working illegally with papers, it is wrong. The Bible says you must obey the higher authorities, that is the government (Read Romans 13:1-7). If government says you cant work without a work permit, you are not only breaking the governments law, but also that of God.
At times, we may be able to get the work permit and all, but have you asked God if that is his will? Not everything is money. Many travel even with the right papers and regret it. Many wish they had remained in Nigeria. |

I like your summation but it lacks reality. You can be a second class citizen in Nigeria. Do you know I was born in lagos and lived all my life in lagos but when I try to get state government jobs. The state government will tell me am not an indigenes. While in Canada, I was a Nigerian I emigrated to Canada, I did as the law stipulates and became a citizen, then I tried my political ambition. And I became a governor in a foreign land.. Success isn't stagnant and where your heart finds success that is your home. Hoodrat: Many Nigerians abroad are not just posting their lives they are curating them. The snow pictures, the apartment tours, the soft life captions often hide the loneliness, the racism, the visa anxiety, the years of doing survival jobs, and the quiet fear of being sent home. Some amplify the glamour because they need the validation others do it to feel superior to those back home. But their insecurity should never become your compass.
The truth is simple not every shining abroad story is real, and not every quiet life in Nigeria is failure. There is dignity in living where you are not a second‑class human, where your progress isn’t controlled by immigration officers, and where your future isn’t held hostage by a resident permit renewal. In your own land, you don’t need to shrink your identity to fit in, or endure subtle humiliation just to survive.
Nigeria is hard nobody denies that. But it is also a place where you can build wealth without fighting a system designed to keep you at the bottom. Land, business, networks, community, identity these are resources many Nigerians abroad would give anything to regain. You can grow here without hiding, without pretending, without begging a foreign country to let you stay.
So take your eyes off the show-offs and the insecurity-driven I have arrived performances. Focus on building a real life where you stand on your own soil with your full dignity intact. Progress built at home may be slower, but it is solid and it is yours. |
