I remember I was sick some years back when I was a student writhing in pain and this male nurse just sat there on his table and continued to chew gum and press his phone.i was screaming, begging and crying that he please attend to me he said I should pay for card first or call my friends who will help me pay for the card.i didn't even have the strength to talk then.i said in a weak and fragile tone where do you expect me to get the energy to go and pay for the card,I can't even get out of the bed, please help me.if it's about the money please go to my room and take the money.he just looked at me and said he cannot leave here,when I'm ready I will bring out the money and hissed.i was shocked at the level of unempathy.


Meanwhile I was brought in an ambulance to the clinic.the pains didn't even let me know or remember where I kept my phone or wallet but God being so kind and loving one of my hairdressers brother walked in and looked at me and said is this not irunoko,he now faced the nurse and asked him why are you just sitting down pressing your and not even attending to her he said she doesn't have money and she's not ready to help me help her.he asked how much is the money he mentioned the amount,went ahead to pay for my card and that was when he took my file to the doctor's office and I was attended to.

Eventually the doctor prescribed drugs for me.this good Samaritan paid for everything and promised to come check on me till I was discharged.eventually when I became healthy I went to my hairdressers shop to collect his phone number because I didn't know him personally.i only knew he was a brother to my hairdresser.i called him to thank him and asked for his account details so I will transfer the money back to him.he declined despite me insisting and begging .


To cut the long story short I saw the nurse few weeks later walking past me in the campus then.i stopped him and said God saved you I didn't die.or it wasn't worse than this,if I had managed to get hold of my phone,I Will have called the indigene boys to deal with you and Beat you like a common thief.even the school medical centre will be raised down.since then he always avoided me till I graduated.


I later learnt some months later he got married.i feel so bad for his unfortunate wife because a man that unempathetic and cold towards a stranger or patient he's supposed to care for,I can imagine the disregard his wife will be getting


May God never allow me or my loved ones to jam agbako medical staff
