I don't know who else noticed the excellent facilities (especially the playing turfs and the immediate surroundings) Ivory Coast provided in this tournament.
For once I am proud to be an African; they may not be very best you could find but far above "very good". It goes to show the positive mindset of Drogba and other big stars to have come out of Ivory Coast, they are so cautious of what friends and the world will say about them should they fall short.
May God bless them.
It's disturbing to know the likes of Okocha and the rest would have looked for a way to steal and defraud Nigeria through the hosting of such tournament, and eventually present death trap pitches with scary surroundings.
I definitely did and has been telling anyone who cares to listen. Beautiful pitches everywhere. God bless them for giving this tournament, African football and Africa in general a facelift. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿค—

Sports / Tobi Amusan Wins Third Diamond League Trophy In A Row by iruocious: 1:39am On Sep 18, 2023
Tobi Amusan the world record holder in the women's 100m hurdles have just won her third Diamond League Trophy in a row. The Nigerian athlete posted her season's best time of 12:33 seconds for the win ahead of Jasmine Camacho-Quinn (12:38) of Puerto Rico and Kendra Harrison (12:44) of the United States with a wonderful performance.
This would be a boost to her after the events of the past few months that affected her negatively.
Hopefully, she'll medal in Paris next year. We're proud of you Tobi!

It depends on how much the repairs would cost. If it's less than the house rent, take a loan and do the renovations. Afterwards, pay back the loan with the rent.

dude do not be unfortunate.

the Nembeians never worshiped the aro deity. they only went to seek out spiritual aid during quarells and little problem, not because the powerful deities in Nembe like Anda-Osain, ogidiga, etc weren't powerful.
sometimes the chief priests were known to pervert justice and so to keep things clean, they travelled far so as not to adulterate outcome or answers.

Just forget about the Osus. This overbearing attitude is what makes them unwelcome in every corner they go for aid. They'll continue to seek for allies but won't find any until the unnecessary lies and chest beating are eliminated. In fact, with the damage done already, making allies in the next two generations sef go hard.

You can see there's no form of communication between us outside English. I don't understand a word of what you said just as you didn't understand mine. I said interpret what I wrote and you're writing in your language.
This further buttresses the point I made about Nembe people NOT being Ibos abi Igbos. You people haven't even settled that one.
A pogo late. Kanga kiri ongu nimitein yai mie bogo.

Read your comment again, and check it out yourself. It's filled with bigotry and envy. I don't know why you envy the Igbos because the culture spilled to other so-called regions and you Ijaws can't stand it. It doesn't make sense.

No form of bigotry or envy at all. You Ibos simply don't understand the meaning of boundaries and are always encroaching beyond your territory. Meanwhile I wrote something in a language you said was Ibo and instead of you to interpret it, you're trying to dodge it. Try interpret am now.

They speak Igbo and we know.

The Ibo slaves weren't as influential as their sellers thought. Even their children won't be happy to associate with the sellers after selling off their forefathers for paltry sums.
The Nembe people do not speak Ibo or Igbo or whatever confused name you choose, and the entire world knows, not just you. The dialect is simply referred to as Nembe.
Yeri ama ongu sun eki nimi tin. Please interpret the above in Igbo as you have said.

Are you serious, right now. Can't you hear yourself. If she said she's from Bayelsa and Ijaw, you'll keep short. Now she's identifying with her ancestry, and you call her a born slave.

Bigotry to the highest order. Why do you Ijaws fight so hard to acculturalize people who don't want to be Ijaws. Is it by force?

I said possibly. You're the one saying whatever you're saying. I didn't say anything of that sort. Munu te sou. Ba eriya.
I don't think the Ibos can understand my last statement.

So the slaves later took over control of things, changed the language to Igbo and forced their traditional hat on you today. You see your life. Nembe kwenu! cheesy

Try dey travel oh. They didn't take over and I bet it's still painful for those that sold the slaves out in the first place. The plan failed and they have no choice than to try and force a relationship. No relationship. DNA isn't even needed.

Shut up. We know they speak Igbo cheesy

I don't have to shut up. I don't suffer from halitosis like you.

The Nembe people didn't lose their language to the slaves like Opobo and Bonny did. They kept on speaking their language, till date. In fact, the strangers speak their language.

Nembe are Igbo people. It's a pity our Igbo brothers in Bayelsa have had their environment destroyed.

Stop spreading falsehood. You see those war canoes on display, in the olden days, they were normally filled to the brim with slaves (mostly ibos) for one to earn a chieftaincy title.

Family / Re: Undetected Sickle Celler by iruocious: 1:34am On Jan 31, 2021
Normally, when you do a genotype test and it's AS you're tempted to repeat testing until you're very sure (even hoping it would change), but when you're AA, you're relaxed and a second test gives you all the confidence that you need.
In this case, the husband and wife seem to have switched places. He's relaxed with his AS and she's jumping from lab to lab for her AA. Hmmm, something is definitely not right.
I think she's scared of taking the blame hence the plenty story. Let her own up and try to speak with the husband cause the journey ahead is not easy and it takes a lot of courage and the Grace of God to pull through.
