Education / Re: How I Almost Ruined My Life Academically!!! by Isabellove: 9:40am On Jun 21, 2019
Congratulations o. Don't think about the fact that your friends graduated before you. Na ONLY GOD dey give speed and HE alone can restore lost years.

I did not even enter the University until 4 years after a lot of my classmates had graduated (owing to life issues beyond my control). You can imagine how I must have felt. Today, many of them cannot boast of what I have.
So my dear, moral is, continue to Trust in God. It is well! He is the only one that can make the DIFFERENCE.

Education / Re: Am I Too Old To Further My Education? by Isabellove: 10:13am On Apr 26, 2019
NapoleonBonapor:
Hello guys I would be 24 in August. I really want to further my education more. I got my National Diploma in 2016 with Lower credit but I went to hustle instead of furthering more. Now I don't want to go to polytechnic, I want get my degree.

My plan is to go for Msc abroad after getting my degree. I am contemplating on 3 options now.

1. thinking of going to private university in Benin Rep (it's an accredited uni) because of their fast programme.

2. Or do DE to a university in Nigeria.

3. Or forget about getting degree..

Can I go for Masters in America or Europe with a Benin Rep degree? And which university can I go for DE with Lower credit in Nigeria (even a private uni?). Please I am getting depressed on this, I am regretting my late decision but I am the one sponsoring myself so hustle first.
Please I need a serious advice, this is my future..
Am I too old for all these?

You young well! well!! You have all the opportunities in the world. You can achieve anything.
1. I honestly don't know if those certificates are acceptable abroad.

2. Now, most top rate universities in Nigeria might not accept a lower credit for a direct entry but that's not a problem.

3. You are not too old to go get a degree at all. I don't know what part of Nigeria you leave in but have you considered going for a part-time programme? You might have to start from year one but you'll be able to continue working. Another advantage is that, when you're completing your degree, you would already have the required years of working experience to pursue your masters. I was 25 when I went in for part-time at Unilag (a 5 year course), cos I had to see myself and my sibling through school and help my mum also. Now, I'm 40 and By His Grace, I'm doing well. I even went back to Unilag for my Masters and have done some professional exams also.

Your case is a very easy one. There is no need to be depressed at all and don't be scared to start from year one. Just ensure you start now so you can finish by age 31 or 32 and the sky will just be the beginning for you.

Since you can't air your views without insults now go and continue fvcking the snail slimy pvssy of your LovePeddler of a mother who cant even give account of which of the failed condoms of the hegoats that dominates her sorry asshole. I hereby dedicate your future insults and responses to supposed slowpoke of a father u have, you children and siblings and unborn generations. Nkakwu

Exactly my point. You are indeed, really brainless.
Education / Re: What's The Difference Between NOUN Certificate & Regular University Certificate? by Isabellove: 4:06pm On Feb 28, 2019
Dottore:
The difference is that NOUN is the name of a person, Animal, place or thing. In other words it's a "name" of a quick certificate for already employed people who got employed with a lesser qualification but wants to advance in career for better earnings and positions.

Other Universities are verbs. They are the functional certificates you can use as a fresh employee to get employment.

In practice no employer takes fresh employees with Noun certificates serious.

It is obvious you are either a brainless person or you just take delight in making a fool of yourself.

Now, to the question: there is no difference between both certificates. It now depends on the employers which certificate they will and will not accept. I've seen job adverts where the employer specifically specified applicants must be graduates of 5 universities in Nigeria (which they mentioned). What do you say about that?

Some companies will only accept applications from people who did their first degree abroad, while some others will only accept from those who attended certain private Universities in Nigeria.
By and large, both certificates are acceptable by many other employers. My younger sister graduated from NOUN and she did her IT in a Multinational Oil & Gas company and currently works in Lekki.

You can even apply for international scholarships with it.

alexialin, your points are all valid. You have a right to be concerned about your life and I expect him to be also. Have a chat with him. Look out for his expressions and the things he does not say. All these will give you a clearer picture into the type of person he is. Whatever decision you take, DON'T MORTGAGE YOUR FUTURE FOR ANY MAN.

Romance / Re: Keeping Romance Alive In Your Marriage by Isabellove: 10:24am On Aug 28, 2013
Your marraige is meant to be enjoyed and not endured. What can you do as couple to keep the fire burning 2, 3 years down the line (after getting married)? I have been married for 5 years and the romance is still strong. I will be giving some tips on keeping your romance strong. Feel free to disagree and contribute but please, NO CURSING.

Wikipeadia explains romance as "The expressive and pleasurable feeling from an emotional attraction towards another person associated with love" and this can be achieved through many means, one of which is "Keep in touch". My husband and I both work but we talk on phone everyday. You might want to ask, what do you talk about? We talk about anything: what is happening at work, what he has to do that day, is he feeling Hot, what can we do to improve our sex life etc. I mean anything. The topics are different everyday. Sometimes, it could be just to tell him I am thinking of him and his p*n**s or to find out what he would have for lunch. Trust me, there is always something to talk about when you make the effort.

This thread is mainly for the married but singles are free to comment also. I decided to create this thread owing to the what is happening in marraiges today. The devil is really dealing with most marriages and I would like to see the romance back in many marraiges so that they can last longer.
