Acceptance fees for the two yrs program has already been paid.

I gave out my lead acid batteries. Bought EVE from China when there was no vendor, not that I know of, selling it here. Actually bought 32 nos of 3.2v 280AH EVE cells. Decided to use 16 and kept 16. Later sold the 16, should've kept it. Lol.

I like to oversize my solar panels so that I don't use batteries during the day. I use growatt.

No wonder your battery float by 11am daily.
This is what we called "over sized" pv.

You may not be able to get the expected quotation unless you list the power consumption of those appliances and the expected run time.

I guess you've two 14.3kwh LFP battery banks connected in parallel otherwise 8kw pv maybe too much for a single 14.3kwh battery bank especially as you stated that the loads are not much.
I admire your zeal...... 20 pcs of 400w jinko pv is real cash.
If I'm not deceived by memory, there was a time you wanted to sell you quanta batteries and replace them with coupled lithium batteries.
Would you mind giving us the details of your system..

Buying from authorised dealers is a sure no story way to go. Not that you won't find many reputable LG showroom selling genuine AC. But if you're highly risk averse, please buy from Fouani. The are LG authorised dealer in Nigeria. I think they do "free delivery" above a certain amount.

48v 160ah LFP no be small bank compared to what he needed. If he can keep his consumption between 6-7kwh after day time, then 160ah 48v with 9 * 475w Jinko Panels would serve him well.

Wait until @Valto state the prices for his sundry battery packs, then you will be amazed at the price of 48v 230ah you recommended.

Everybody like better things but na the money some people dey wait for!

Oga, I'm assuming this person doesn't have much knowledge about RE and since he was looking for LFP battery bank that would conveniently power the stated loads for off-grid system, I strongly believe giving him a design with small headroom for miscellaneous loads will surely give him ROI.
I won't still subscribe to the idea of powering 1hp inverter ac, even though it's 4-5 hrs of usage, on 48v 160ah and I'm very sure other minor loads will be attached.

The answer to this question depends on the availability of NEPA light in your area, if your proposed system will be grid tied. So you have to let us know how steady NEPA light is....
Again, the panel capacity will also depends on loads management and your pocket.

Although you didn't state the watts consumption of your listed Appliances, if you have the funds go for 48v 280ah/230ah LiFePO4 battery with 545w Jinko Panel * 9

But if you are on budget go for 48v 160ah LiFePO4 battery with 475w Jinko Panel * 9


Note: Buy the batteries from @Valto, that's if he has fully coupled battery pack for the stated Ah above.

I think 48v 160ah LFP battery bank is to too small for his proposed loads.
He said the 1hp inverter ac will be running for "at least" 4hrs and other minor loads may still be attached which might increase the overall consumption to about 7wh from 6pm to 6am.
I suggest he should take 48v 230ah LFP battery bank as minimum.

You are on track, I installed an almost similar setup for a client that has been running since January, a 12v 1.2kva tbb inverter, 12v 70ah lifepo4 battery, 4 200w solar panels with a 60a pwm charge controller powering a 200ltr Haier thermocool freezer and a standing fan, it runs from 10am to 6pm daily

12v 70ah LFP battery bank drew my attention.
Apart from Sun doing the job during the day, could you let me know his load on this battery and the freezer power consumption?
I considered 12v 160ah LFP battery bank an average system for beginners.

I'm still looking for a way to talk to my 7.5KVA Felicity LF Inverter IVPS7548. Since I bought it, we never talked, we have just been looking and touching which is quiet unusual for my equipment. I need to be able to hear what it is saying without having to go to where it is hanged, I have found some indirect ways of monitoring it, but I still long to be able to communicate with it directly.

3. Use gen as backup to charge batteries as last resort

Generator as backup for #550/litre is irritating.
If there is small cash and his battery is lead acid, then let him add pv and manage his loads.
If his battery is lifepo4, then let him manage his loads with partial charging of the battery.
Economic aspect of renewable energy is the key for middle/third class citizens.

Someone told me yesterday that he's using 3 pcs of battery for his solar.
I argued but he insisted that his tubular batteries are 3 pcs and he has been using them for 1 yr now.
How possible is this information and how will the configuration look like?
