toyeoye:I advised some of friends last year December/January this year to start buying the accessories gradually. They were planning and postponing it. One of them called me today to ask for the price of battery and inverter. I thank God for the foresight |
MumiOlivia:. The school is Conestoga. Thanks for your advice |
MumiOlivia:I wish I could get direct information from the school but unfortunately the school admission department told me that the information could only be released to the student involved. I really need to be sure that the agent is not playing over my intelligent having received admission processing fee of 700k. All the mails from the school went to him and he then forward to my brother. I was not comfortable with this development. I thought all my brother's particulars including his email address was inputed while filling the form and this would've enable him (my brother) to get direct informations from the school via mail. |
1. Please, is it a MUST to log into or open an account in OCAS Portal whenever I'm ready to apply for admission in any school in Canada? 2. Can I create my own email to track and monitor my application instead of using OCAS Portal? |
isangjohnson:Could someone please help me with this? |
We paid Agent to process our brother's admission and we now want to check/verify the status of the admission due to suspected foul play. Since we are not the EXISTING USERS of OCAS and if we decide to create a new account, will it be possible for us to still have access to our brother's school informations via his ID Number? |
osayuwamwen:The recommended charge rate of C20 for most tubular batteries is 20A. |
ShowYoung:Thanks |
Pls is the $1000Cdn admission processing fee belongs to school or agent's fee? |

isangjohnson:PLEASE, I NEED URGENT HELP. |
PLEASE I NEED URGENT ADVISE! My brother's admission is REVOKED this evening. He got LOA for Conestoga College on March 01,2023 and the following information: Classes Start September 05, 2023. $1,500 non refundable deposit was to be paid on or before March 31,2023. The balance of the first semester tuition fees to be paid on or before June 13, 2023. First Academic year tuition fee was $18,794Cdn. First semester tuition was $10,129Cdn. Since we couldn't get the complete/expected amount on time for the POF, we told a friend who was helping us for the admission in Canada to push for referral after paying the acceptance fees and we were processing the first semester tuition fee as well via FormA. He applied for the referral but was refused due to non payment of one full semester fees. In April 14,2023, new admission was issued to my brother with the following information: Classes Start January 08,204. $1,500Cdn non refundable deposit to be paid on or before May 11,2023. The balance of the first semester tuition fees are to be paid on or before October 10,2023. First Academic year tuition fee $18,502Cdn. First semester fee $9,837Cdn. QUESTIONS: 1.Why will the admission revoke when a new admission/LOA has been given and dateline for the payment of first semester tuition fee is October 10,2023? 2. If at all the school was still working on the dateline of the first admission letter/LOA, why was the second admission letter issued? 3. What should we do now? PLEASE PEOPLE SHOULD ADVISE US APPROPRIATELY. We have already paid the acceptance fees from the first admission letter given and we were waiting for FormA approval to pay the first semester tuition fees balance as we were working on the new dateline of October 10,2023 from the second admission letter/LOA. The REVOKED LETTER has the following informations: Term: Winter 2024. Campus: Doon. Start Date: January 08,2023. Offer Issued Date: April 11, 2023. Offer Expiry Date: May 11,2023. Offer for the program revoke due to program/campus change, late/no payment, registration date passed, visa issue. We gave our friend the acceptance fees to pay in February this year and he told us the money was paid. Does it mean, we were supposed to pay another acceptance fee for the new admission letter/LOA given to us for the referral? |
emmy9500:I can see drink on the table and I believe that was for the installation ceremony. Where is our own? Congratulations |

Thanks all. |
mctfopt:What type of Android phone will work with this App Sir? From what I've noticed, not all Android phone work with it because it doesn't work with Tecno pova. Download and open for the first time and refuse to open subsequently unless I uninstall and install again. |
Please, who is using JK bms here? I want to know if the version has been updated. The version I saw need an advanced iPhone for the app monitoring. CC: Mctfopt |
icjunior:This budget won't fly for the stated loads sir. I'll advise you contact a good installer to give you a comprehensive quotation and drop it here for advise. All the best sir |
Dam5reey:Doing this for the past 6 month? You get mind sha. My lfp battery won't go below 40% and lead acid battery has never gone below 65% for about two years. |
Olopan listed power consumption of some home appliances including standard 1hp AC (870w), 1hp inverter AC (480w) and people shared their experience too in page 1181-1183. He also adviced someone who was planning to run one 2hp AC and two 1.5hp off his system from 6pm to 6am to run 4 hrs 17°C while letting 25-27°C be his sleeping temperature. Again, Niyi who has been running ACs off his system for about 5 yrs now told another person in page 1010-1011 who needed advice that on average, he would need about 1kwh of battery storage per 1hp standard AC and about 600wh of battery storage per 1hp inverter AC if running overnight. I see no reason someone with 15kwh storage of lfp battery can't manage two 1hp inverter AC with other minor loads. Most times, it's not all about RE field rules as claimed but it's all about "personal" loads management. I may not have field experience but I know virtually all my home appliances power consumption and I've been managing my loads for the past two years and my off grid system never went off for once. People seeking advice here should also try to read previous post. After doing that, they may not have any need to ask fresh questions. |
nonny1212:Thanks for your input Sir |
nonny1212:Please at 26*c, what is the watt you usually see during the day and at night? Is your AC 1.5hp? Thanks for your advice. |
auwal8377:You may wish to check view pages back for people's review. Her previous positive review attracted me to her but things has changed probably due to the volume of sales she's handling. To the best of my knowledge, she doesn't pay much attention to the shipping of cells. She might not even remit the shipping fees you'll pay to the clearing agent and you might end up setling the clearing agent here in Nigeria when your cells finally arrive. You might also be unlucky to see your cells due to mix up with other unlabeled cells caused by her careless shippers. Those that buy volume of cells at a time from her do not experience this issue. If you must buy from her, I advise you look for your shipping agent. This will give you rest of mind. |
nonny1212:You say it depends on the settings, does dual inverter have other settings aside genmode? I'll like to know the settings that will make it consume less than 500w for 1hp. I saw in a sticker that it saves 70% energy and I don't know how truth it's. |
Valto:Boss, business is business and it's on trust that people will also patronise you. She collected shipping fees from alot of people including myself but failed to remit it to the shipping agents. By right, she was supposed to refund the money to her customers but she refused to. Will she try this elsewhere? Please, let us call a spade a spade. |
I saw sticker on dual inverter AC that it saves 70% energy and it has genmode while smart inverter AC saves 60% and it doesn't have genmode in LG office. I went straight to check 1.5hp dual inverter AC and I saw Normal Input 1,170w. Max Input 2,250w. 1. Should the 70% energy savings be calculated on Normal Input power of 1,170w?. 2. How does smart inverter LG AC save 60% when it doesn't have genmode? Please, who has used 1hp and 1.5hp should let me know how many watt 1hp and 1.5hp has consumed in genmode (dual inverter) in the afternoon and at night. Someone that has used smart inverter should please say something about the 60? energy saving. My brother wants to power them on solar system and not generator. |
ojesymsym:Zeestone99 can handle the shipping for you. There is still someone else outside this forum but try him first. |
ojesymsym:If at all you're buying from Selina Li, don't allow her to handle your shipping else you'll pay twice and that's if you'll be lucky to see your cells. Most of us that paid her for the shipping are yet to get refund. |
sustyFC:He's wasting his time, abi? ![]() |
I need 1hp and 2hp inverter AC. Olopan said 1hp inverter AC is 480w while 2hp is 2100w. Please, what is the name of these products? Does anyone here have better options? I'm more interested in energy efficient products as I intend to run them on solar. |
ElRazur:Well, energy independent is all about personally satisfaction. If you have the fund and you're not on budget go for it but if you're on budget, go for 5kva inverter and 15kwh lifepo4 battery with sufficient pv and reduce the running time of the AC especially at night. Someone posted here few months back that 1hp inverter AC consume about 487w. Running two at the same time will consume 974w, freezer might be 150w, fridge might be 110w, iron might be 1200w... Total 2,434w. Sufficient pv will take care of this during the day and charge your battery to float. You may also choose to alternative other appliances like pumping machine and washing machine. Switch off the freezer in the evening when the sun is off and by this time, things has already blocked inside. You may allow the two ACs to run on battery for 9hours at night (8,766wh). I'll advise you go for standalone floodlights and do not attach them to your system. I've 8 standalone floodlights in my compound running for two years now. They are all in sensor mode, turned on at night by itself and turned off when day break. If you still need a bigger system, 8kw deye inverter might be a good option with 28kwh lifepo4 battery and corresponding pv. Our big boys will advise better. |
