Hi, right-thinking Nairalanders.

I think I need urgent help, my uncle asked me to leave whatever i am doing to rush over to his place this afternoon owing an emergency. As I got to his house, he barely replied my greeting only to tell me that he had been defrauded by Yahoo Yahoo boys who withdrew over 2 million naira from his 3 separate accounts with different banks( first bank, zenith and stanbic bank).

He said it all started on Wednesday when he noticed his MTN line kept showing "emergency" consistently, but he barely made out time to check why as he had assumed that it might be a network issue that might be retified overtime.
Fast-foward to this day when he decided to check his email only to discover that ever since Wednesday when his line showed " emergency" that he had been debited of over 2 million which he is unaware of, so I suggested we go to MTN office, only for them to ask us to do sim swap which my uncle vehemently refused to owing to the fact that he wants to know what happened to his line and several withdrawal which he got but the customer service representative said she doesn't know.
she would rather insist that he swap his line instead as if swapping the line will bring back the money..

My question now is please, how would my uncle quickly get back his money stolen from his banks?
Please what steps do we take to resolve this issue

It's ironic because you're the one supporting negativity. She was 100% responsible for those who trooped in to that venue.

Those kids would have been alive if she had made adequate allowance at the entrance gate, and people processed into the venue quickly. That there was a massive build-up at the entrance and a stampede thereafter is wholly her fault.

That people didn't die at her event before this one doesn't exonerate her. It's a bit like saying because I've been doing good, then I deserve to be set free for robbing a bank.

It seems you are not up to date about the chronology of events. Are you aware that the event was scheduled to start at 10am, and the security personnel that was to handle the crowd control was to resume at 8am, but our fellow Nigerians had assembled there as early as 3am and started their tossing their kids over the fence like burglary tools as early as 4am when honest people were still in bed. The processing you mentioned was going to begin at 10 am when the event started. Between 6am and 7am, our brethren became too impatient and proceeded to break down the gate, and it is that point that the kids were trampled to death.
