hey tumininu am very sure u wil get ur rm as early as possible except if u dont want to and concernin the sch fee, i think it is a deliberate attempt by the authority to delay the sch due to the increase so that the student wil not be able to protest

yes you have to sort the accomodation out the very 1st week of resumptn and then u can go home durin weekend to bring ur thins the ffl wk.The sch shd paste ur names and hall at the student affairs on the 1st or 2nd day of resumptn after which u can go to ur hall to pay some dues and u will be allocated to a rm and orientation and the jaja clinic etc registration wil follow and u shd be able to get ur hall and room the very 1st week of resumption but make sure u bring all ur credentials along,snap enough passport etc wil gist u later

Hello all.
just write to inform u that as at today no official sch fees but then just relax cos am very sure that they wil release it latest on 3rd of sep and just on saturday,i saw the unofficial one and i was able to know that i as a returning student that wil not take any Ges courses wil have to pay 19k plus as sch fees only and the new student wil pay sometin from 25k to 27k dependin on ur faculty.i would have photocopy and give u all the unofficial one but for some reason i wil not but be rest assure that i wil let u know immediately it is out.And u can just send ur nos to me @08082087131.

When to resume?
i think it depends on u but then 3rd is a good day to resume.And as we all wait for 3rd of sep i wish all good luck and oh let i forget by 3rd of sep i will be out of ibadan for the next 2mths cos i wil be posted to Ilesha and ile ogbo for my pytp God willin but b4 then i will try and write a general overview of what the whole registration process wil look like to u all.And in all u do plz put God first and be ur self.

A forex trader will understand what i mean by the subject matter.yes i become a victim of volatility yesterday when the Gbp/jpy moves by a pip of more than 900 and almost all my money i withdraw from my online investment was gone after using it to trade on forex.

thanx for the comment. i think zik or indy hall will be better for u cos they r close to ur dept and also to faculty of sci where u will receive lecture for ur 100level but honestly kuti hall is the coolest undergraduate male hall and that is my hall and i was only fortunate to get it and ui do not place u in a hall base on ur dept they just do it systematically. as at today sch fee is not out but am in sch now and shd be able to let u know when it is out.see u in ui.

well,am a uite but not in pet eng and what i know abt ui pet eng is that it is a dept for the smart ones as in u dont need to know everytin but u must be smart to know what u need and what u dont need and at the same time i want to advice that u tight ur belt cos the dept require hard work atleast my room mate in 100level was in that dept and then send am out after 100level cos he was unable to cope and there is another guy that make 7.0G.p after 100level so u can see but then it is all an interestin dept and u can check ui website and click on faculties and then dept to see all the list of courses u will offer from 100-500l .As a graduate of pet eng,u can work in a oil company etc

well it ranges from 20k upward depending on the location around the campus. but i will try and ask my guys that live in bq 4 u so that u can know the exact amount

i just write to inform you that a special release of the university of ibadan dated 3rd August 2007 was in circulation on 8th August and it contains the details of how the comin session will runs.In brief,new student will resume on 3rd september,2wks for their registration(sch registration,jaja clinic reg,faculty reg and dept reg,Ges reg and queen 101 or india 101 reg as the case may be).Lecture for 15wks and 2 wks for end of the year break and school resumes on 4th jan 2008 and faculty of education exam will start and on 14th jan 2008,other faculties xam will start.one wk for mid semester break and another 15wks of lecture for the second semester and then the session will end on 30th of may 2008.stalite will resume on 10th september as usual BUT

they are yet to release the school fees as at the time of this report but i hear say the prof are plannin to increase the sch fees and that is one of the reason for the delay and i think any moment from now the tin will be out. lookin at the calendar, a regular student will know that the calendar is dangerous(sunamicious) considerin the period where the 1st semester exam is but my advice for all is that u need to set ur goals now and make sure that God willin when the time comes u r not carried away 100% cos ui na borin sch but around december it is always lively so all the best.

well,gettin a room outside the sch is not really a problem once u get ur money and most of the houses is say 1000/month around agbowo and u will have to pay for atleast a year and wen u want to stay around bodija then u will need double that atleast,and there are bq on the campus as well.for me,i like stayin on campus and that is why ever since i have been in ui i have always stayed on campus and it pays.atleast electricity,water are better off than outside.security outside sch is hun cant just say but i know that on ui campus,cultist are in a diapause stage but outside the sch,they do perform so am not advicin u stay outside atleast for the 1st year

i will definataly keep u posted and wish u get the accomodation in Queens hall and who knows den fit put u for queens just like myself,i was given a space in kuti hall and since then i have been a kutite and yet kuti use to be a kind of reserve hall as well and fortunately i was given kuti so i hope u get queens as well.

hun.accomodation in ui is automatic for 100level students .The only accomodation problem ui have is with the female student and becos 2 of u r in CLA,queens hall will be better 4 u cos it is closer but the problem is that if u get queens hall,what it means is that u will have to stay in queens hall till u graduate and accomodtion could be a bit difficult for 200L student in queens hall except if u get luck or ?but my prediction is that wen the list is out u might find urself in india or awo cos those hall accomodate more female and queens hall is kind of reserve hall for the prof pikin and the likes.

yes.the official bullletin release by ui lastweek says the resumption date for freshers is 3rd september why 10th sept for the stalite and this can become untrue only if the authority change it again but as of today it is 3rd and 10th and infact the new bulletin for today does not carry any info on anytin partaining to resumptn or admission so just chill.

u know what?university of ibadan na d best.try and check the list of ur lecturers and find out how many attended unibadan and u shd atleast knw that ui is the first and the best.
