There is a noticeable change this year: The scholarship will be taken in Nigeria unlike in previous years when the successful candidates undertook their studies in foreign universities.

I hope the change will improve one's chance and if possible increase the slot from each state.

Off course you will move if you have better offer. I think one of the aim of the scheme is to keep one engaged with skills while searching for job.

Mostly that of Federal Government is through the Federal Ministry of Education or you can be posted to Federal Ministry of Education from the Federal Civil Service Commission. That of state depend on the state. @least Kaduna state did their own some times back.
Just as Oga sunnypar said sometimes it's all about who you know and you might be fortunate.

@airsaylongcon Sorry about my late response. I have not been chance to log into Nairaland for a while.
The school is a secondary school. We are looking at about 200 students. Being the first time only one subject is going to be involved then probably the other subject can join later. It is an internal exam. For now the questions will be strictly multiple choice and other format can follow later.
The school has no Internet connection. We are looking at a longer time frame of about a month plus because it is not feasible this term again.

I once needed a solution for a situation like that. I went to the embassy myself, I was not allowed in despite explaining to the men at the entrance what I came for. I was asked to apply through an agency who will then bring my document for certification.
I waited till they closed and told one of their staff my situation and he said they no longer do individual certification except if the school send a letter from Saudi Arabia to them which will be copied to you.
I don't know but you can try your luck. In my case I was trying to apply for scholarship.
