artisticallyart:The best answer would be 'All of the above'. There are a lot of factors that you have to consider. Like if the students have the lackadaisical attitude to learning, if the school is not conducive enough, if the student has family problems, if the parents don't give students time to practice school work by consuming their after-school hour, if the teacher has a lot of issues bothering him/her from non payment of salary to delay in payment to small stipend. It goes on and on. @least if more than average understand in the class: No Wahala. |
Topkush:I thought the issue of photographs have been clarified here. It is left for one to choose based on the available evidences. But if you ask for my stand: I follow the opinion of those who prohibit photographs. Again, am not infallible because I once attended a wedding ceremony, did not take picture, then somebody scold me to stop deceiving myself as he has a picture of mine. #WeAllCannotBeASaint! May Allah forgive us our shortcomings. |

As for us #TeamFreeAgent: #KeepTheFaith But even the kereje schools for my area don dey form o. Gaskiya the thing no funny again. After I write exam for one, do micro teaching they still call me back again for another micro teaching. For kereje school o. * DroppingCV Continue* |
Then it has to be through either FSB or ministry of education. The application process has started already. It will end by November. Normally fsb will open their portal for application but last year I was not aware if they really opened it. I might apply also. |
artisticallyart:But this your post made me laugh this early morning. Well me go reserve my comment because things are not always as they seem. Let all hope for good things ahead. |
coolhamid:I just confirmed it jor. In our chat during the day he said went there and was told there is vacancy but it will end on twenty something. Na pple plenty apply or na wetin? Anyhow we keep the hope alive! @biggal: seen ur PM & have replied. |
akanduteenah:Thanks for the response. Good night. @chrisdenis01: Since you are yet to resume your new club, it means you are still in the look out. Don't settle for less. *In Abraham Lincoln voice* Sell your brawn and brain to the highest bidders, but never put a price tag on your heart and soul. Good nyt house! |

prudence123:which type of common wealth scholarship? They are many: there is the Commonwealth shared scholarship for MSC where you apply via the participating institution. There is the Commonwealth scholarship where you apply via your country ministry. There is that of fellowship also usually between institutions. Am not a beneficiary but hopefully I will be a beneficiary soon. You can check the Commonwealth website for detail. |
Worth reading. The networking part is my undoing. |
@artisticallyart it seems oga goldenDr has drop the mic for you to continue as co - commentator as the transfer season gather momentum. |
akanduteenah:Thanks for the wish. I haven't been to Calabar. All I know about Calabar is mouth say. My hustle has not carry me to south south and south east. @least it has carry me to lagos and I might say lagos is ...... No comment! Gaskiya me I value comfort much which is one of the reason I was reluctant to be a free agent. Please if I may ask: Do you based in Calabar? |
artisticallyart:I have had enough laugh this evening just going through the thread. I am really considering the Calabar thing because I think the packaging should be worth it. |
I just saw mails from eden solution inviting me for interview in Calabar. It was from one of the post in this thread that I applied. They promise refund of transport fare for those coming outside Niger Delta. Its an international school. Niger state to calabar is a serious case o. They also sent questionnaire to be answered. |
[quote author=GoldenDr post=37124327]islamics would like to leave NPFL to Europe to ply his trade. [quote]Am yet to get an offer oo. Am not hoping play in the NPFL in the forthcoming season. #KeepTheFaith. As advice by the ogas in house: am still submitting my CV around. It's just that most of the school around me are the 'kereje' type. One of the school where I submitted CV called me today: I went, wrote lesson plan and did a micro teaching stuff. They said they will get back to me. In an old news, while dropping CV around: in one school I met the director and some staff doing meeting, so I waited to submit my CV. When I was allowed in after some mini interview, one of the staff asked: Young man is this how you will dress when coming to teach the small one? Gaskiya the thing susprise me. I just smile and told her that I was only dropping my CV around and not coming for a formal interview. Na chinos and shirt I wear o though I folded the long sleeve up. |
yemmybx:I guess 'silat' has answer your question. It has to be Kaduna branch of Skye bank. |
Just confirmed today that you have to buy the form first. It cost 1.1k according to them in Skye bank. |
artisticallyart:Instead of finding Alisha I found you here again. Which one is Assistant Examiner? Which state are you marking? I intend/hope to mark in Abuja. Again which day will you advise us gatecrashers to show: tomorrow or next? |
@nyankpa: please are we to pay any money for form. I thought we were asked to just submit application and credentials. nyankpa: |
It was long but @least I read it all: very inspiring. Get in touch with the inner mind. |
[quote author=talk2yommex2000 post=36870991]it seems u asked a question above but I dnt understand u well pls. i mean where u said... Which center? State it here for others to benefit I dnt really get wat u mean. [quote]I think what he meant is that you should post the address of the center so that others might benefit. It might not be the same that of WAEC posted previously: who knows? |
aalymah:You can send your application to info@taqwaschools.org or The Managing Director, Taqwa Private Schools, 7-11, Taqwa Crescent, Off Iju Road, Ifako-Agege, Lagos State. According to my Google search 11th might be the deadline |
@Sunnypar Is there any new as regards to NECO marking? I gatecrashed during WAEC marking but did not get a parcel. I intend to gatecrash during NECO. |
artisticallyart:Alisha should be in the city of 'Kannawa'. Hopefully well. You made me wanting to search Nairaland for Alisha moniker. Funny indeed. Sai da safe |
OCcool:All is Well. |
Salam Alaykum Ya Ikhwan Wa Ukhtee Just stumbled upon thread: @op actually i follow the view of those who see taking pictures as haram. But @least we all have to recognise and respect the difference of opinion since it is not something that bring one out of Islam. With regard to calling those preachers celebrity: I think the word celebrity is below par. In the very least we can all say they are caller since ALL SCHOLAR IS A CALLER BUT NOT ALL CALLER ARE SCHOLAR. They may not have attain the status of being called scholars because we all know that those we call scholar have made lots of research and sacrifice which have stand the test of time. The issue of spoon, fork, knive are non issue since they are not act of Ibadah. For those undermining the issue of Aqeedah: it is a vital and important aspect as the prophet spent most of his time preaching about authentic belief, when the belief is there other acts of worship will fall in place. The issue of shirk is part of Aqeedah which shows the importance of authentic belief. May Allah forgive our shortcomings, purify our heart with Tawheed and stregthen us upon the truth. #JustMyOpinion |
lobell:I will check it out. I kind of like spoon feeding. |
