Please anybody with an idea of how to go about a suspended account?

Recently, my account was restricted and was asked to verify identity. After much trying, I was able to verify it using the digital NIN card. Immediately, after verifying, I saw the notification of account suspended and was asked to reach out to support center.
I reached out to the support center and was told that my issue would be forwarded to the team that should handle such issue but till now no show.

Usually, if you check Upwork, there are lots of gig requiring one who has play store account to upload their app. Seeing those gig always, made me conclude that, most of those app might be violating the play store policy.

Getting into MIT is good but it's very hard from Nigeria. A first-class and a perfect GRE score doesn't guarantee an admission and the CS program is the most competitive program there.

There was a time I was trying some of those ivy league of schools, their feedback no gree give me joy, I con dey reason say even with money, one might not get into some of this school.

You do know there are Nigerians with no degree working at FAANG. Daniel Ayobami has no degree and is working at Meta. If you look through the Nigerians who regularly solve leetcode you would see some Google engineers and most I have seen only have a first degree from Nigeria.

It's tough. If you can get scholarship and get into a school like MIT, Caltech, Waterloo, Carnegie Mellon even if only for Masters, then you'll improve your chances

@ Telegon, savedInstance is still there but the modern way of designing android app prefer you to use ViewModel/LiveData and it is use in the MVVM pattern of design.

In my case, the first round was a technical test(with one test platform). A leetcode easy and one medium(maybe hard)

The second round should be an oral technical interview with a senior developer but I didn't get to that stage

Please I am trying to integrate remita into my app but I can't move forward after much searching and reading the docs.
Any request I make requesting for RRR send a response of
"INVALID _HASH_VALUE" The hash value of the parameters do not match.

In the docs, it was written in JavaScript as:

My Java implementation is this:

Yes it's like your individual Net.flix. For use within your home. Some people host it on a cloud server and are able to watch their content from wherever they are. But it's kind of a grey-area because na mostly "pirated" content people dey use am host. So for example most of use here are only conversant with Netfli.x. But there are many other options like Hul.u, Disne.y, A.mazon and a few others, each with their own series. So what goons like us do is download content from all of these providers and aggregate them into one place using the previous software I mentioned. I no wan mention their names cos I got hit with a 24 hour ban twice.

You need a computer (regular desktop, laptop or single board like raspberry or a micro computer - anything that has OS sha), A router, a hard drive with stored Media content, download a few applications and your good to go. That's all!

In my case, i only need the internet to pull down the movie information and pictures to make them look beautiful on screen just like Netflix.

That's the good part! It works locally without the internet. Even when your internet down, as far as you have a router, you can access all your movies and content on any device, phone, tablet, PC or TV.

I think this one is applicable if you are exposed or well aware of stuff. Most started without being aware of options/opportunity in other areas.

Schools in my area in Lagos pay teachers 15k.

I know grad who earn less than that in teaching.

My advice for those still in the teaching and looking to move, na to get an exit plan and implement ASAP. Easier said than done as usual. (I think this is applicable to all job sef).

Lol! I am happy to leave the conversations out here. Mesef na learn I dey learn and I didn't know we had a few Home Automation hobbyists on here. A lot of the stuff being thrown around fit confuse you and that's normal. Just step back and start from the top by Googling Home Automation. I also heard that Home Automation is also called Domotics so you can also use that as a keyword. The long story short about home automation is to have IoT control of your home (or dare I say entire building for Commercial Real Estate buildings).

1. Learn the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.(Not indept, but basics. On a scale of 10, It should be 5,5 and 6 respectively).

2. Pick up Java. Don't compromise the basics. Learn the syntax and semantics well.

3. Pick up Spring/Spring Boot Frameworks(Understand the MVC)

4. Learn a database. MySQL is ok.

5. Learn Unit testing (This will set you apart and get employers interested in you)

6. Learn Maven, Hibernate, JPA and Maven(These are just implementation processes. Don't be scared. After you learn the basics, you can pick this in 3weeks)

7. Most important part: Build at least two solid projects that implement all the above. Two sold projects are better than vague 10 random projects.

8. If you want to stand out as I did, write one cloud certification. Got Google's scholarship and wrote GCP, and did Microsoft 30 days challenge and got a discount of Azure, which I paid just $40(17k). This will make you irresistible.



All this looks like a lot, but it's what I did in a space of a year. Now our IQ might differ, but dedication and commitment can be the same.
