Girlwithwings:Kill your joy?! Obese girl, are you confused? Did you somehow manage to eat the part of your brain that deals with memory? Do you forget how all of this started? You sent for me and I came, remember? Don't start playing the victim now. |
BiafranNigerian:Maybe that's how things will be in your proposed Biafra, but in other countries once they see suspicious transactions that fit the criteria of money laundering/crime proceeds, the investigations start off exactly as you said they shouldnt. Why do you people love crime so much? |
BiafranNigerian:You reason like a pauper, it is hard to believe the above statement. |
Girlwithwings:Typical perpetually hungry girl; always trying to put something in her mouth. Young overweight lady, you are too far below the spectrum to ask me for my wallet. Oh, that was meant for the other poster? Ok, so now let's move on and continue talking about the death sentence your obesity is sure to bring you. I do not see "boobs and a flat tummy". You need to stop deceiving yourself. Aside the huge ass stomach and breasts that'll definitely fall to your knees (and probably to your ankles) when unleashed from the restraints holding them up ---making you deceive yourself into thinking they're fanciful and attractive--- what I see are fat, obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol and a host of other potential fat related diseases that are sure to knock you out of commission before you hit 30yrs old. You need to take care of your health instead of running your mouth online at strangers. |
Girlwithwings:"Tried"?! If that's you in your profile pic, you need to go check your BMI, you're obviously severely overweight --- borderline obese, actually--- maybe the extra fatty cells are what's clogging up your medulla because it behooves me the insults and what sense you think you made with that crap that you couldn't seem to catch the sarcasm in my post. You're Nigerian anyway, so maybe I shouldn't be expecting too much when it comes to using your brain. |
cmart09:Believe that nonsense if you want, but I guarantee you, here in the good ol' United States 99.9% of the time you are getting dragged out of your car, beat down, tased, maced, peppersprayed, beat down again and --- depending on the color of your skin--- getting shot. Just pray to whatever you worship that on the day you decide to pull such a stunt you actually run into a cop that gives two sh*ts about that law which you profess to know so damn well. |
Mr. Obi Nwakanma, just a couple of questions for you: 1. Who is the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of Your country? 2. What is the chief function of a law enforcement officer? 3. Why do people whose name(s) bear a semblance to yours always have an affinity to crime and seem to dislike the idea of a society run with law and order? |
They were born into an Era where suffering and a disorganized society is all they know. It's not their fault. They think it's their right to be paupers |
babadee1:Ignorance of the law is not an excuse, or a defense. |
rusher14:Accepting a plea deal/bargain is an admittance of guilt. You have to go in front of a Judge and plead guilty before a plea deal is enforceable. I think the mistake Nigerians, and Mr.Metuh, are making is thinking a plea deal means they get a slap on the wrist. It is not. As AUSA (Federal Prosecutor), I remember off the top of my head more than a few cases where I offered plea deals (and secured convictions ) of Life In prison without the possibility of parole---- meaning they accept to die in prison (as opposed to me seeking the death penalty on behalf of The People, at trial). If I was the Prosecutor in Mr.Metuh's case I would offer him a plea deal of 10-15 yrs in prison. I would go this hard because (as can be seen from his vituperations through his Attorney in the Dailies) Mr.Metuh still doesn't believe he is guilty; meaning he hasn't learned his lesson and will most likely commit the same offense if the opportunity presented itself again in the future. Either accept that or proceed to trial and get hit with the maximum sentence for wasting the court's time and tax payers' money when your guilt is finally established. It's not in the Defendant's right to ask for, or propose, one. A plea deal is not a slap on the wrist. At least it's not supposed to be. That's not why it was created. A plea deal simply means: "I'm guilty, I deserve to be punished for my actions, I won't waste your time or money trying to pretend I'm innocent, so please go easy on me at sentencing". That is, in essence, the meaning of a Plea Deal. |
Emmysteve:You're not normal. |
Flexherbal:Or the hawkers should go to public school or go learn a viable and more respectable trade. |
Emmaoga:You're missing the point and that's why these politicians feel no remorse treating you guys like goats in barns while they live lavish; because you poverty minded followers feel it's your right to be poor and theirs to live rich on your commonwealth. Do you notice that they put all the protection around themselves while they give you street lights as if they're doing something special? Why don't they give themselves the street lights and give you the CCTV? Do you get where I'm going now? Yes? No? It's high time you realize the Government's job is to work for you and not the other way around. |
AtlanticBreeze:Tomorrow, if this same man Is properly accused of diverting State Funds into private coffers, you same clowns will deny that's he's ever been in the employ of the state government. |
TTdouble:This is EXACTLY what it says: "These CCTV Cameras are being installed in front of the Government House and at the Udensi Roundabout all situated around the Government house and Police Headquarters." If comprehension is a problem for you, its not for me. |
collinsVP:Why don't you come over and take your chances, then after 15yrs in a state Penitentiary come relate your experience to fellow NL members? |
ProfyJay:Alternative?! Provisions?! Whose problem is that? They are entrepreneurs, they should start another business that conforms with the law or move to a state that allows street hawking.... or pay N90000 and go to jail for 6months after each arrest. |
TTdouble:"Working for their people" by installing the cameras mostly only "around Government House"? So, tell me what if they want to work ONLY FOR THEMSELVES what would they do? |
I Googled the name of the main suspect, Chidiebere Onwudiwe, and what I found made the DSS allegations believable. He preached violence in the name of Biafra. That said, those claiming it is unreasonable for a fellow Ibo to detonate bombs at the computer village because it is mostly made up of Ibos should think up a new defense. That's like saying it's impossible for Boko Haram to be Northerners because most of their atrocities are carried out in the North against their fellow Northerners. It would make sense to me that if an Ibo was to bomb anywhere outside his region, what better place than one highly populated by his fellow tribesmen so as to stoke ethnic discord, paranoia, violence and complete breakdown of law and order? Although I await more evidence on this issue, my immediate impression of the named suspect is one in which the accusations should not be put past him because if his own words and writings are to be weighed fully, then it seems highly likely than not that he is capable of that which he is presently accused of. Feel free to Google his name before his supporters start to delete his writings from the web. |
In saner climes Mr Metuh, you will go through the rest of the trial--- or plead guilty(the choice is yours)--- get convicted, get sentenced to prison time and probation, pay restitution, then pay a fine. Basically, your guilt will not be in doubt at the conclusion of court proceedings. In the end I know this is what will happen to you because Nigeria is trying to restore sanity to the land. You can blab all you want to the press, the decision to declare yourself not guilty is not vested in you but in the hands of a Federal Judge. Keep on talking since you seem to be the offspring of a parrot. Clown. |
Dottore:Most of them have mental issues and they don't even know it. Imagine a society where corruption, bribes, stealing, murder, voter fraud and everything else bad you can think of became a culture so much so that the younger generation (not knowing anything else) thought that's how life ought to be lived. What a sad society. |
realemmyz:Disturbing what proceedings? The ones where they give themselves Millions of Dollars as allowances and you the ordinary citizens $43/month as minimum wage? Proscribe as law the right to marry 13yr old girls? Attempt to ban social media so they won't get criticized? Jail hapless homose*xuals for 14yrs while they run around trying to ra*pe hotel maids overseas before soliciting prostitutes in dark parking lots? Tell me, what proceedings are they disturbing by jailing the two crooks that head your Senate? People like you are the reason why your National Assembly is full of mediocres and imbeci*les. |
onepluone:That means you should look in the mirror. |
onepluone:You never had a Democracy until 2015. |
freeze001:Seriously?! What of Dasuki? Why aren't the other tribes defending FFK? The truth is most of you are bigots, intolerants and tribalists . And quite frankly, I personally think a majority of you have gone mad with hate. You can't even see that most people don't take y'all serious anymore. |
OjukwuWarBird:The sad thing here is, NOTHING this man will show you will be satisfactory. You hate him because of his religion, tribe and the fact that he despises crime and a disorganized society (which most of you love and would rather). The rest of Nigeria just needs to ignore you guys and keep on marching to their destination. |
aresa:Unbridled hate has made most of the people from a section of Nigeria run mad. |
olaitoro:Same reason Obama withheld his Birth Certificate when dumb people called his citizenship into question: To make them look like the fools they are until it is indisputable even to the duncest of dunces. Don't refute anything they say, let them talk and blab until they can't blab anymore, and then when you get to the final fork in the road where you part ways, you show them the proof, make them look stu*pid, and keep on moving. This semi-literate, so-called lawyer, was a clown of the highest order. |
This tribal, bigoted, clown needs to be sanctioned and then disbarred by the governing body for lawyers in Nigeria. He is a total disgrace to the profession. Very sick individual. |
andyanders:Either you're shortsighted, halfway literate, just plain dumb or all three. Below is exactly what I wrote: "That's Beverly Hills. That's a Mansion" Then you replied with the bolded and dare compare my birth-language with your learned one. Typical Nigerian. |
sweetgala:If the Clerk should make the mistake of taking the fall for those two crooks (Mr.Saraki and the other Ugly Paranoid one) Im willing to bet that he will be hit so hard , that by the time he comes out of Prison his Grand Children will have Grand children. My money is on him turning Federal Government witness against the Speaker and his Deputy; thats assuming he's a smart man. |
49cents:Riiiigghhhttt.... "Tax palliatives" in a country that you can't tell who's a citizen and who's not. Until Nigeria can do such simple things, they'll keep running around in circles. The Naira is not overvalued, the last Government destroyed the economy by stealing what should've been used to protect the Naira at this time, thats why Nigeria finds herself in this quagmire. N165-190/$1 would've have been a reasonable rate if there wasn't so much scarcity of foreign currency. |
