ancientbanana: stop killing freedom of speech, stop padding budgets, stop police brutality, stop one sided probe n probe bruntai, stop speaking for Palestinian secession n speak on biafra secession, stop disregarding the court orders etc. So u c d govt has a lot to change first
Freedom of speech , you don't deserve (since you're still mostly unintelligent and, under normal circumstances, shouldn't be speaking without parental/Governmental guidance a la North Korea) but you still get it. Its nobody's fault if you don't know your rights.
Your budget is your internal issue, you have a problem with it then take action against your leaders.
Well, most of you act like goats anyways so its no surprise that anyone with a little more power will be itching to beat some sense into you. On the contrary, if you hate being brutalized by cops, then insist on change. This also goes for your request for a probe.
The Palestinian issue is not one of secession. Since, its obviously a topic thats beyond your mental capacity I'll refrain from commenting further. No need wasting time talking to a wall.
If you want Biafra, take the needful steps. First would be leaving other's lands and go back to yours to agitate, next would be building the right political alliances.
Anyway, just stop sh8itting in the streets and urinating in public view; thats what animals do. I don't understand why you insist on continuing it.
Dont urinate in the streets in full glare of others ,thats indecent exposure. Stop shi8tting in the streets, stop littering by throwing garbage everywhere, stop offering or accepting bribes, stop trying to cheat your way through life, stand in lines and wait your turns, improve on your overall hygiene; cover your mouth when you sneeze or cough. Use deodorant. Wash your hands when you blow your nose in a tissue paper or visit the toilet. Be polite to people especially when theyre customers at your business. Talk less aggressively and more soothingly.
You want me to go on?
Theres a lot of things Nigerians need to improve themselves on. Pretending that all is well just shows the type of people that inhabit that country.
Wingback: I am planning on buying a 750,000$ house next 3 years, the first thing I checked was a basement.
OP it's a great storage place, you can rent it out to college kids, your teenage kids can throw parties there without breaking anything valuable...and above all
You can drink away your sorrow and smoke off your regrets... making 300,000$ every year, the basement is the perfect place to indulge in your "leisure" and hide from your nagging wife and troublesome kids.
And contrary to belief, basements can be quite spacious and airy
You're buying a house for $750k, but will make $300k/yr renting out your basement?
dimieprincess: I received the "change begins with me" campaign of the Buhari's government with so much discomfort because I am now convinced they lack what leadership is all about. What kind of change do they expect from us? They increased gas, we accepted. They increased food price, we obliged. No salaries as workers have being subjected to live in squalor , yet no one takes to the street. Exchange rate is at all time high, we still accorded them respect.
The yearly 4000 MW they promised us is no where near obtainable, yet we obliged them their respect as our unfortunate leaders. The worst of all, there is no relics of improvement on virtually everything about Nigeria; we still pay our bills. There is multiple taxation, wit: increased in Stamp duties, introduction of communication tax and we are still willing to pay being Nigerians, increased in VAT etcetera.
Despite the hogwash and arrogance being shown to us, being Nigerians as the most religious country on earth we still pray for them in Churches, Mosques, Okija shrine, Orunmila shrine and in our private intentions. What change from us do they want? Is it until they sell us to China?
I think this campaign of "change begins with me" by the APC FG is a joke taken too far, "Change" does not begin with me. Change should begin with President Muhammadu Buhari and his government. In my candid view, this campaign is another diversionary tactics by the ruling class to alter the narrative of the leadership failure that has plagued our nation over the years. Just like previous similar campaigns, this one will not yield any tangible result.
Let President Buhari and his government practice the change that they preach and Nigerians will follow suit. The attempt to shift responsibility from the governance to the governed is unacceptable. Pro Buhari fanatics might have promised change or in any case, it was Buhari and his party that promised Nigerians change and not the other way round. If this is an attempt to distract our attention from the terrible and excruciating economic situation in the country it has failed already. Never again shall Nigerians be hoodwinked to such cheap campaign.
From Dimien
Its now clear to the rest of the world that most of you Nigerians are just animals on two feet--- like ostriches--- only that you've learned the manner of human speech. Who supports continuation of decadence in a society?
ahahnow: Its easy to figure out why the guy looks almost white. It could be that during the times of slave trade. Someone in his linage had intercourse with a white man. therefore, white traits would have been passed down to other generations..
saint7000: Another Afonja and envy of Igbo light skin. Go and tell Pascal Dozie, Bianca, Nnamdi Kanu's mother they have German mothers. You people need serious help.
Nnamdi Kanu's mother has German mother or father according to envious Afonja.
Good lord, you guys are mentally special.
The woman you have in the picture is a PURE black woman. That looks white to you? You must have not stepped out of your hamlet too much in your life.
kenny987: U need to understand the context of statements or posts like that which u just quoted. The main point is not relishing or rejoicing over the thought of borrowing from d IMF, World Bank and such other western bodies that only suck debtors dry with emasculating conditions.
Eh, thanks a lot but no thanks. I can comprehend the English language fully and properly, its my first language after all. I can also go through old posts to figure a person's mentality and intentions.
Your help and attempts at explanations weren't needed or called for.
NoreenUG: I'm a bona-fide citizen, you dumb m.o.ro.n. Can you now kindly face the thread and stop derailing, you unintelligent bore?
"Bonafide" because WE let you. Were you born here? Were your parents? How about Grand Parents? Great-Grand Parents, maybe? A blue passport doesn't mean sh*t except that you pay your taxes on time like the legal foreign worker you are. If you never understood that, understand it now. The day we're ready---and pissed off enough--- we will amend the Constitution, yank that piece of paper out of your rough African palms, rip it up, and throw your ashy butt on the first Steam Boat smoking across the Atlantic back to where you truly belong.
Go back to destroying your own homeland with your backwards mentality where everyone thinks in reverse just like you.
NoreenUG: PS: Oh, and another thing? I live in Columbus, Ohio, U.S.A, dumbass, and that's common knowledge around here, so you've only totally failed on that part too
Before you came out here to pollute our society, have you ever witnessed constant electricity? That was my question.
NoreenUG: PS: Oh, and another thing? I live in Columbus, Ohio, U.S.A, dumbass, and that's common knowledge around here, so you've only totally failed on that part too
So what are you doing in my country with your 3rd world mentality? When are you going back to Africa?
saint7000: You wan take laugh kill me. That's an Igbo Major General. If you think he is too light skinned, or albino for the military, make you see former DG of NYSC...Gen. Nnamdi Okore, that one nah white man oh with blue eyes. I have seen several of them Igbo officers in the Nigerian military as light as white or mixed. My good friend Nkem who is a major light pass these ones. The fact is they are pure Nigerians, born and brought up in Naija.
Why is chest beating so rampant among you guys? Gen.Okore-Affia was born to a German mother in Bonn, Germany. He was primarily raised in Nigeria. It doesn't make him "pure" Ibo who is just light skinned. HE IS HALF WHITE.
I dont understand how lies come so easy to you guys.
NoreenUG: So, after all of Buhari's stubborn theatrics of We-will-never-submit -to-world-bank-and-IMF, he finally falls on his knees and approves borrowing from World Bank.
Please mods (Dominique, Lalasticlala), help me edit my post and add in the full article. I'm on a crappy mobile phone, and character limit is killing me here. Thanks.
"The man has been totally demystified!"
And this makes you happy. Im willing to bet that since the day you were born, you've NEVER witnessed 2straight months of uninterrupted power supply? Know how I know that? Because you come across as a complete loser in life. Nobody that has anything going for them relishes their Government borrowing from the World Bank.
Its a shame what poverty has done to the psyche of the average Nigerian.
P.S: I just saw the last part about your "crappy mobile phone". I should've known better and ignored you. Most of you think poverty and a disorganized society is normal. You are wrong.
Nigerian Journalists, Law Enforcement, Soldiers, Customs/Border Agents, Lawyers, Judges and Civil Servants are amongst the most unprofessional and uncultured sets of beings I have ever encountered anywhere in the world.
nairaman66: NA gallivanting over an old already half dead man.. We should clap for them..
When this "old already half dead man" plans a scenario that involves, IEDs, Shrapnels and explosions that will decimate you and your entire family, I bet you won't be clapping for him.
Princewill1: How did it get there? Since there is no black person in the pic.By the way, this is not photoshop.
Actually, theres a black person in the picture: The man sitting in front of the flag with dark shades on is black (or at the very least multi-racial). If you look further behind theres also another black man in a blue shirt standing by a tree.
Justcash: How does having dormant and inactive politicians encourage a president or party to marginalize a geopolitical zone? Is the government not meant to develop every nook and cranny of Nigeria? Your excuse for the marginalization makes no sense. .
Either you're an idiot or you don't know the purpose of your elected officials; I'm guessing both. If your Senators and Governors won't do it, what do you think the President can do?
vivalavida: I don't blame the Kenyans and the Ghanaians for constantly taking potshots at this shitty country called Nigeria. At best they are a country with one or two major tribes that are related in one way or the other and separated by few languages. But this hellhole shouldn't be referred to as a country at all. We are too diverse to be one. That is why when one section gets the presidency, the other sections try to undermine it. In so doing, the economy of the country is hurt. So Biko I don't blame them. Nigeria as large as it is is useless to mankind
I don't think thats the problem. Kenya is just as diverse--- if not more diverse--- than you are . The truth is that you're just typical Africans; wicked and unruly. The ethnic problems you face in Nigeria is just as bad in Kenya.
I guess its just African to be wicked and blame it on tribe and religion.
searchiing4love: Since biafra is dead and buried, i think it's time we support an igbo candidate for presidency in 2023 so we can heal the wounds of the Civil War in their hearts. Nnamdi kanu is no longer a threat to our unity and most Igbo's have finally realized he was just using biafra agitations to milk them dry. Igbo's, yoruba's and Hausa-Fulanis are brothers and unity is all we need to build a prosperous country of Lord Luggard's dream cos he saw massive potentials in our diversity before merging us together. I think Rochas is the only presidential material in the south east for now. He has paid his dues and built political bridges across the ethnic divide
So after the disasters of the last 56years your genius plan is to give it to another man--- no matter how incompetent--- so long as he's Ibo?
FOLYKAZE: When some guys are wailing, lamenting and dishing out hatred because their beloved fedora hat son lost election, some are cashing in hundred of thousands to millions monthly.
OP, you should make proper use if your time. Coming online to wail when your colleagues are in the classroom or work field will not yield you a penny. The days of pay per post and free money is over. Hard work pays alot
Previous Nigerian Governments have created a generation of losers, wailers and loafers who can't think of any innovative way to make money but cry and stick their palms out for Government crumbs.
ChinonsoDike2: This is why no black African country can achieve anything. You hustle backwards. You should be encouraging business owners not destroying them. Animals.
"Nothing to see here folks, just a typical Nigerian Christian fanatic that somehow managed to escape from its habitat into our homeland. You can all move along now"
GossipHeart: I pray that this hardship gets worse.
I want everybody to feel the heat so that in the next election you go have enough sense to rebuke any presidential candidate from the northern part of Nigeria
Why won't you pray it gets worse, you're still poor and wretched either way, so? Right?
Its easy to know the hopeless ones in real life even online.
Jona and his finance minister told us to get ready for hardship so stop crying over loss of jobs. 16 years of PDP did not diversify the economy, did not save for rainy day, all they did was loot and share...
When are you going to get it into your skull that there are consequences when you steal, loot and share your money and refused to save for rainy day.
The useless woman confessing and telling you the reason why you are sufferer and jobless..
I feel sorry for people like you. Stuck with people who have the mental capacity of a mud wall. You see how evil minded they are? Denying the truth even when they know it and its staring them right in the face. But because they want this Government to fail....
Goodluck Jonathan and his gang did irreparable economic and security damage to Nigeria. It will take decades to clean up some of his filth i.e Security/Environmental degradation in the Niger-Delta and North Eastern parts of Nigeria. Couple this with the fact that GEJ wasn't in charge, Nigeria was basically on auto pilot, and there was a "free-for all" looting spree going on when Oil prices were at their highest. Only a person that doesn't have an affinity with the truth will say he/she is shocked at the present condition of the country when oil is at its lowest.
Stop wasting your time explaining anything to them. They know the truth.
I have been in the National Assembly since 2003 but things keep getting worse; I think they paid us last month’s salary on the 16th of the following month or thereabouts,” Ndume told newsmen in Abuja.
How much was this salary because I know your non-political colleagues have their salary pegged at a minimum wage of N18,000.00!!!
Nigerians just like to deceive themselves. What "technological advancement" did they so-called achieve? Rigging bits and pieces of other materials to make crude weapons is now "advancement" ? Why haven't they then reproduced this same method in advancing their home societies? Oh, wait, let me guess: Nigeria is keeping them down.
Reno Omokri's is an idiot and his only reason for writing this illogical, senseless and unprovable crap is to pander to the ibos and fester Religious/Tribal intolerance, albeit, indirectly.
Well, its not as if GEJ never had ties to Militants and Rebel Groups in/from the Niger Delta. He has made use of them from the very beginning of his foray into politics, so why would it be odd that he still makes use of them now?
