RESOLUTION for a CALL to PRAYER

UNDERSTANDING... that we are children of Abraham by faith, the "wild olive branch" grafted into the root of G-d's covenant (Romans 11:17-26), and,

RECOGNIZING... that G-d has kept his word to Abraham and His descendants and settled them in their homeland again, according to the word of the prophets (Amos 9:14-15), (Ezekiel 36: esp. v.24), and,

RECOGNIZING... that we have a biblical mandate according to Psalm 122, and many other Scriptures to seek the good and prosperity of Jerusalem, until the Lord makes her a praise in all the earth, and

AFFIRMING... that G-d's love and intended blessing is for all nations and peoples, and that we have goodwill and love for all mankind, including all inhabitants of the Holy Land, and desire peace in this entire region;

WE, THE UNDERSIGNED call upon all men and women of prayer to yearly set aside the First Sunday in October, near the season of Yom Kippur, as the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem.

Romance / Confessions Of A Married Woman by israelbenzion: 9:00pm On Aug 08, 2012
Someone had this confession to share:

“Hi readers, I just want to share my true life story with you so that you can learn from it. We are human beings, we make mistakes every day but it left for you to learn from your mistakes.

“My name is ‘anonymous’ I wont mention where I come from for security reasons. I met this guy in 2001 when I was writing WAEC, his name is GuyA. We fell in love.
“He was everything a woman would ask for; he is fair, handsome, intelligent and God fearing, he loved me so much, he shared the little he had with me, he was willing to do anything I ask for though he didn’t have much because he was still in second year at university of Nigeria, Enugu campus.

“He did everything possible for me to gain admission into the university. I eventually gained admission in 2003 at Enugu State University of Science and Technology and graduated in 2007. ,

“I don’t know what came over me. I had a fling with this guy named GuyB. Though I never loved him, but I became pregnant for him. I didn’t know what to do, but terminating the pregnancy was not an option. I didn’t want to lose GuyA. It was as if my world has crumbled.

“I didn’t tell anybody not even my best friend because I never could tell what would happen if I did. I made a smart move by telling GuyA that I was pregnant for him.

“Of course, he believed me because he trusted me so much but I betrayed his love for me. He came to see my people, though my parents are dead.

“I eventually put to bed; a baby girl. This was in 2008. Do you know what my baby was exactly the carbon copy of GuyB; the guy I had a fling with?

“I was not surprise because I knew the pregnancy wasn’t GuyA’s but I thought the baby would’ve resembled me. Of course, I was wrong. GuyA accepted us even when he knew the baby does not look like him or me.

“Ever since, I have been dying in silence. My conscience kept killing me. At a point, I hated my own child seeing a picture of another man in her. My husband, GuyA loved her so much more than anything.

“In 2010, I had another baby boy for my husband. My joy knew no bounds. I was really happy, my husband was happy as well.

“In 2012, I had another baby boy for my husband, GuyA. Even at that, he loved my daughter more than her two biological sons. At a point, I became jealous but what can I do. I just couldn’t bear it any more so I decided to give my life to Christ and beg God for forgiveness which I know he has done.

“This I did because I couldn’t continue to die in silence. It was now for me to confess to my husband but how would I achieve that without breaking my home? I didn’t want to loose my home, I loved my husband and my kids.

“He is a wonderful man but I betrayed him. I prayed and asked God to give me the strength to confess to him… On the set day, I first called him on phone to ask him if he would ever forgive me. He asked what I meant by that. He asked if I was alright and I said yes. He hanged up on me. I cried like a baby.

“When he came back from work that same day, I served him his dinner. After that, I went with him in the room and told him to forgive me that he should not punish our daughter for what she does not know about but punish me.

He Already Knew That He Is Not The Father Of Our Daughter:
“He asked again what I meant by that. I narrated everything that transpired between GuyB and I. To my greatest surprise, he dropped a bombshell. He said he knew all these years that he was not the biological father of our 4-year old daughter.

“I asked him if he knew about it and didn’t bother to ask me? He said that he knew that someday I was going to tell him but he never knew it would come this soon.

“It was as if the ground should open and swallow me. I was so ashamed of my self that I bowed my face in tears but he cuddled me and said he’d forgiven me long ago. He said that we pray every day OUR FATHER FORGIVE US OUR SINS AS WE FORGIVE THOSE TRESPASS AGAINST US, why won’t he forgive me?

“He said no one is perfect and that we make mistakes in life. He said that I was a nice person and that we have been through a lot in life. So, he cannot abandon me now that i needed him most. He told me that he could possibly throw me out so that people will laugh at me but he has always loved me.

“As for my daughter, as far as he is concerned, she is his daughter. He’s has always seen her as one and that he will always love us. These were his words.

“I was short of words, all I could do was to cry and thank him and thank God for the kind of man he has given me because I know that no man would take that from any woman no matter what except by the special grace of God.

“I am now a happy person and I have given my life to Jesus Christ. We must learn how to confess our sins no matter what so that Satan will be put to shame and as well learn how to forgive.

“We now live in the UK. I also had my two boys in the UK.”

teminoni: There have been reported threats on mosques, including shootings and bombings, but I have not heard of any casualties what so ever. The muslim worshipers are always saved by one mysterious obstacle or 'premature' explosion before getting to the mosque.

What I'm trying to say is churches are attacked and there are dead worshipers. Mosques are attacked but there is never a single dead worshiper.

I think this is just a tactic by boko haram to make us think mosques are being attacked by christians so they have the right to attack more churches. Or they are trying to cause confusion and thus, a religious war.

1. (A). You say:
jerusalem was totally sacked by the babylonians.even the bible confirms that all the isrealites were taken as slaves for 70years. the isrealis didnt actually own the land.they forcefully took it from the jebusites.then they lost it and the palestines occupied it.bear in mind that the palestines didnt migrate there, they had always existed alongside the isrealis. (B). I say: Jerusalem was not sacked totally. Old men and d infirm were stil left there. Now, even if it were sacked, did it destroy d ownership rights of d Jews? U conveniently forgot to mention that Nehemiah, a Jewish leader, rebuilt Jerusalem, even wit the permission of d colonial masters of d Jews then. Did they not return to their homeland after 70 years? Did it cease to be theirs? When they came back, they continued staying on their land witout meeting any Palestinians. Mind u, there was no distinct tribe called Palestine then. U lie wen u assert that Jews and Palestinians hv always stayed side by side. Where is the proof of such outrageous falsehood? 2. (A). You say: if the isrealites claim jerusalem as theirs despite having taken it from the jebusites, why shouldnt the muslims also claim it as theirs haveing taken it from the isrealite on occasions?do you think the al-aqsa mosque was sent by bluetooth to its location?
(B). I say: the jebusites were annihilated totally and their land occupied. That was part of warfare in those days. Even wen d so-called muslim warriors overran J'lem, there were still Jews living there. There has never been a time wen J'lem lacked Jews resident in it, no mata d numba. Conquering a city and claiming it as ur own is different from just subdueing d people their for a short time for economic or other gains. That is colonialism. U hv d power but the people own d land. Al-Aqsa mosque was built by d land 'thieves' who were in chargee of J'lem then. It was rumoured that Mohammed ascended to heaven from there. He is just a poor copy-cat of Jesus Christ. Just cos he heard that Jesus ascended to heaven, he sought to appropriatee such fame to himself too, even though such claims are steeped in lies. Al-Aqsa mosque was built as a mockery to d Jews and to ensure the obliteration of d Jewish xter of d place. They tot Jews wil never come back. 3. (A). You say: nothing is impossible.but if the al aqsa is to go down, full scale war will be the result. (B). I say: yes, that may be d case but it might aso not be so. As I type, all d prefabricated materials for rebuiding d Temple ar ready. Even d levites hv bin trained in Temple service. Aprons and Temple utensils ar ready. The final events await a trigger as contained in d ancient prophecies. Of course there will b WW3. Weda that wil trigger it or not is left to d imagination. But believe me, Israel as a nation is here to stay and is goin no where again. 4. (A). You say: the issue of the current isreali-palestine land struggle is strictly political and the crisis was created by the british.it would have just been easy to have seperated the 2 cultures as seperate nations but churchill decided he needed to invade syria and thus the problem began.isreal contributed largely to it by refusing to give up the golan, gaza and east jerusalem.then it started its crazy intifadas and the situation is the way it is. (B). I say: then u don't know ur history one bit. Let me assign to myself d task of enlightening u. When d British Mandate was abt to end, d league of nations (d 4runner of d UN) divided d entire and from d Sinai border to d western bank of d River Jordan into 2, one for the Palestinians and d oda for d Israelis. D Palestinians rejected the partition pan outright, saying d whole and belonged to dem and dat d Jews wil never stay on one inch of d land. D Jews accepted their then meagre portion and declared Stateehood, whereupon d whole Arab nations surrounding Israel attacked her in May 1948. She quicky and roundly defeated al of dem. It had notin to do wit Britain invading Syria. I challenge u to prove it. As for d Golan Heights u refer to, u also show that u do not knw ur history and just joined d bandwagon of Jew-critics. Arab nations again attacked Israel in 1967 in d Yom Kippur War. Israel again defeated dem within 6 days and took Golan Heights from Syria, Sinai from Egypt, and East Jerusalem from Jordan. And y wud they give up East J'lem that is part of J'lem? It happened to be under d control of d Jordianians due to d lack of foresight of d British then. Israel simpy took back wat was hers all along. And d Golan Heights is just a hill that divides Syria from Israel and is strategic for d defence of Israel. So y shd it giv it up?

1. Islam has many places in its Hadith where killing of Jews is advocated. So don't come here posturing as if Islam has ever bin friendly to Jews.
2. On the issue of Jerusalem, I wil hav u know that that city was a city of d ancient Jebusites, b4 it was conquered by d greatest Jewish king ever, David. And since then it became a Jewish city witout challenge or re-conquest. It was d capital of d Jewish Kingdom and has always been under Jewish control apart from brief colonial periods. So d claim of d Palestinians to d land is baseless.
3. Jerusalem had long bin a Jewish holy land before Islam was invented. Yet the hating Arabs claim it as theirs, as if the holy Jewish Temple had not stood there b4.
4. How come Mecca and Medina ar no longer enuf as 'holy' sites? Must Islam be connected to anywhere d Jews hold sacred?
5. For ur info and anticipated trepidation, know this: the HOLY TEMPLE of G-D wil be rebuilt on that land that currently houses that mosque called Al-Aqsa. And there wil b nothing the Arabs can do abt it.
6. All I get from ur posts is a fanatical devotion to a lie, a false religion and a hatred-filled way of life.

If u remember well, d first enmity started with Ishmael, whom d Muslims call Ismail. Because his own mother was sent away by Isaac who was declared d child of d promise, his descendants became sworn enemies wit d Jews of old. History even suggests that Ishmael is d father of d Arabs and other non-Jewish Semites.
The second time d enmity crystalized was between Jacob(Israel himself) and Esau, d father of d Edomites. Their wars and enmity was recorded in d Bible. And till date, all those who might have descended from that bloodline still carry on with the avowed hatred of d Jews.
But more importantly, it is d Devil's own way of instigating hatred against the race that produced Jesus Christ, his eternal nemesis. More so, the Devil seeks to destroy the race closest to God's heart bcause of d great love God has for them. All this is enuf to arouse jealousy in their neighbours. And they wud also seek to destroy d Jews so that God's words concrning them will not b fulfilled.
But of course they can't. Never!

Why Muslims Must Hate Jews
by Nonie Darwish

Recently a Pakistani religious leader, Pirzada Muhammad Raza Saqib Mustafai, said: 'When The Jews Are Wiped Out... The Sun Of Peace Would Begin To Rise On The Entire World'. The same preaching is routinely done not only by clerics but politicians, in Iran, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, etc. This is not just Ahmedinijad, it is at the heart of Islamic theology that world peace will be established only when all the Jews are wiped from the earth. But few people in Western media are alarmed by this kind of rhetoric or care to expose this dreadful dark side of Islam’s obsession with Jew hatred.

I do not believe one has to be an authority on human behavior or group thinking to find out the obvious pathology in Islamic Jew hatred. It is time for all of us to uncover and expose this atrocity against the Jewish people. We owe that to humanity and the truth.

No true Muslim can see that such hatred is unbecoming and unholy for a world religion to focus on and that the credibility of Islam is tarnished by such hatred. No Muslim is allowed to go far enough to self analyze or question why such hatred. Muslims defend Jew hatred by claiming that Jews betrayed Muhammad and thus deserving of this kind of treatment. Even when I was a Muslim, I believed that the one sided story against Jews by Islam, was enough to justify all the killing, terror, lies and propaganda by Islamic leaders against Jews. To the average Muslim, routinely cursing Jews in mosques feels normal and even holy!

After a lot of thinking, analysis, research and writing I discovered that Jew hatred in Islam is an essential foundation to the Islamic belief system that Muslims cannot seem to be able to rid themselves of. Jew hatred masks an existential problem in Islam. Islam is terrified of the Jews and the number one enemy of Islam is the truth that must be constantly covered at any cost. It does not matter how many Muslim men women and children die in the process of saving Islam’s reputation. The number one duty of Muslims is to protect the reputation of Islam and Mohammad. But why would a religion burden its followers like that? This is why:

When Mohammed embarked on his mission to spread Islam, his objective was to create a uniquely Arabian religion, one created by an Arab prophet, which reflected the Arabian values and culture. Yet to obtain legitimacy, he had to link it to the two previous Abrahamic religions, Judaism and Christianity. He expected the Jewish tribes who lived in Arabia to declare him their Messiah and thereby bring him more legitimacy with Arabs, especially with his own tribe in Mecca, the Quraish. Because his own tribe had rejected and ridiculed him, Mohammed needed the approval of the Jews, whom he called the people of the book. But the conversion of Jews to Islam was part of the scenario that Mohammed had to accomplish in order to prove to Meccans that they had made a mistake by rejecting him.

That was one of the reasons Mohammed chose to migrate to Medina, a town that had predominantly been settled by Jewish tribes and a few impoverished Arabs who lived around the Jews. The Jews allowed Mohammed to move in. At the beginning, the Koran of Mecca was full of appeals to the Jews, who were then described as “guidance and light” (5:44) and a “righteous” people (6:153–154), who “excelled the nations” (45:16). But when the Jews rejected the appeasement and refused to convert to Islam, Mohammed simply and literally flipped. The Quran changed from love to threats and then pure hatred, cursing and commandments to kill Jews. Rejection by the Jews became an intolerable obsession with Mohammed.

Not only did the Jews reject him, but also their prosperity made Mohammed extremely envious. The Jewish Arabian tribes earned their living from legitimate and successful business, but Mohammed earned his living and wealth through warfare, by attacking Arab tribes, some of whom were from his own tribe, and trade caravans and seizing their wealth and property. That did not look good for a man who claimed to be a prophet of God. The mere existence of the Jews made Mohammed look bad which led Mohammed to unspeakable slaughter, beheading of 600 to 900 Jewish men of one tribe, and taking their women and children as slaves. Mohammed had the first pick of the prettiest woman as his sex slave. All of this senseless slaughter of the Jews was elaborately documented in Islamic books on the life of Mohammed, not as something to be ashamed of, but as justified behavior against evil people.

One does not have to be a psychiatrist to see the obvious, that Mohammad was a tormented man after the massacre he orchestrated and forced his fighters to undertake, to empower and enrich himself and his religion. To reduce his torment, he needed everyone around him as well as future generations, to participate in the genocide against the Jews, the only people whom he could not control. An enormous number of verses in the Koran encouraged Mohammed’s fighters to fight, kill and curse Muslim fighters who wanted to escape fighting and killing Jews. The Quran is full of promises of all kinds of pleasure in heaven to those who followed Mohammed’s killing spree and curses and condemnation to those who chose to escape from fighting. Muslims were encouraged to feel no hesitation or guilt for the genocide because it was not they who did it, but “Allah’s hand” was behind the killing.

Mohammed never got over his anger, humiliation, and rejection by “the people of the book” and went to his grave tormented and obsessed that some Jews are still alive. At his deathbed Mohammed entrusted Muslims to kill Jews wherever they found them, which made this a “holy commandment” that no Muslim can reject. Muslims who wrote Sharia, understood how Mohammed was extremely sensitive to criticism and that is why criticizing Mohammed became the highest crime in Islam that will never be forgiven even if the offender repents. Mohammed’s message on his deathbed was not for his followers to strive for holiness, peace, goodness, and to treat their neighbors as themselves, but a commandment for Muslims to continue the killing and the genocide against the Jews.

Killing thus became a holy act of obedience to Mohammed and Allah himself. Mohammed portrayed himself as a victim of Jews and Muslims must avenge him till judgment day. With all Arab power, money and influence around the world today they still thrive at portraying themselves as victims. Sharia also codified into law the duty of every Muslim to defend Mohammed’s honor and Islam with their blood and allowed the violation of many commandments if it is for the benefit of defending Islam and Mohammed. Thus Muslims are carrying a huge burden, a holy burden, to defend Mohammed with their blood and in doing so they are allowed to kill, lie, cheat, slander etc.

Mohammed must have felt deep and extreme shame after what he had done to the Jews and thus a very good reason had to be found to explain away his genocide. Thus by commanding Muslims to continue the genocide for him, even after his death, Mohammad expanded the shame to cover all Muslims and Islam itself. All Muslims were commanded to follow Mohammed’s example and chase the Jews wherever they went. One hundred years after Mohammed’s death, Arabs occupied Jerusalem, and built Al Aqsa mosque right on top of the Jewish Temple ruins, the holiest spot of the Jews. Muslims thought they erased all memory of Jewish existence.

Mohammed’s genocide of the Jews of Arabia became an unholy dark mark of shame in Islamic history, and that shame, envy, and anger continues to get the best of Muslims today. In the eyes of Mohammed and Muslims, the mere existence of the Jewish people, let alone an entire Jewish state, de-legitimizes Islam and makes Mohammed look more like a mass murderer than a prophet. For Muslims to make peace with Jews and acknowledge that Jews are humans who deserve the same rights as everyone else would have a devastating effect on how Muslims view their religion, their history and the actions of their prophet.

Islam has a major existential problem. By no will of their own, the Jews found themselves in the middle of this Islamic dilemma. Islam must justify the genocide that Mohammad waged against the Jews. Mohammad and Muslims had two choices: either the Jews are evil sub-humans, apes, pigs, and enemies of Allah, a common description of Jews still heard regularly in Middle Eastern mosques today, or Mohammad was a genocidal warlord and not fit to be a prophet of God, a choice that would mean the end of Islam.

Then and now, Mohammad and Muslims clearly chose the first worldview and decreed that any hint of the second must be severely punished. Jews must remain eternally evil enemies of Islam, if Islam is to remain legitimate. There is no third solution to save the core of Islam from collapsing; either Mohammed was evil, or the Jews were evil. Any attempt to forgive, humanize, or live peacefully with Jews is considered treason against Islam. How can Muslims forgive the Jews and then go back to their mosques, only to read their prophet’s words, telling them they must kill Jews wherever they find them? It does not add up, if someone wants to remain Muslim.

That is why, the number one enemy of Islam is, and must remain, the truth. If the truth exposes Islam’s unjustified Jew hatred, Muslims will be left with an empty shell of a religion, a religion whose prophet was a murderer, a thief and a warlord; without Jew hatred Islam would self-destruct.

For a recap, The Government refused all through 2011 to investigate the subsidy fraud issue. NASS finally took the initiative, and then the Government decided late in the game to also set up it's own committees to do the same. Since April the House had made information on it's findings available to all, and the EFCC. However, not until July/August are we finally getting reports of possible prosecutions.

Just a question to get some clarification is all.

Ok. The reason I said so is because, despite all d idealism we all front here, dis is still Nigeria and all and any judgment must be given in dat context.
I am close to d system and I know d rot in d system as well as d enormous pressure these guys face from different persons to do corrupt acts. It is not easy resisting someone who gave u 20 million to help in ur elections. So wen u see d names on d subsidy trial list and rememba dat these ar movers and shakers of Nigerian society who past leaders ordinarily wud not touch. So for him to touch dem and damn d consequences, he deserves some credit.
Take BH for example. Was it not cos of some political and economic 'toes' that GEJ stepped on that was partly responsible for BH?

Dude, it is the extreme positions of the opposition that makes us up the steps beyond their reach. I'm happy to take a much less attacking posture, but not when the red-eyed, desperate opposition see's raw hatred, boko haram, deaths of innocents, lies and fraud as ready political tools.
When armed robbers visit with matchets, it is the sane thing to respond with an AK, even better, with a rocket launcher.

As always, the red-eyed will lose.

I have no apologies.
If you anybody is smallminded enough to hate the govt, because I solidly defend it, then they are immature.
Well, looking at it from dat angle, ur view-point becomes understandable. U r saying ur own approach is in direct proportion to d level of hatred that exists on d left. Cos if no one speaks out that forcefully FOR govt, all its gud wil be drowned wit d 'bad'.
All the Left want is for u guys to admit once in a while that there are errors which need to b fixed. Just like ur own crew wudnt mind the Left giving govt worthy credit wen it is due them.
That is how it shd be.
I therefore call on d Left and d Right to embracee d New Shift and approach issues wit that philosophy in mind henceforth. It wud be wicked for anyone to cum here and say GEJ hasn't bin trying. He has. Personally, I never tot there wud b such a tin as a trial for subsidy thieves, and especially a trial for the 'owners' of Nigeria. He has balls. Weda the trial is killed at d inception or not is another mata: this wudnt hv happened 3 yrs ago! He deserves credit for so so so much. Most times it is wen a Leader leaves that we miss him.
But it wud also be foolish to pretnd that he doesn't hv areas where he can improve. I still pity those who call for his death or stuff like that. It is not fair. We shd bring out these ills and areas he needs to improve on in a constructive manner. There ar areas that d Republicans and Democrats agree on. Such agreemnts usually produce bi+partisan bills. Why can't w do same here?

Let's all come to a compromise on this so we can appreciate the govt bettr and also distill valuable advice from constructive criticisms.

I would have concurred with your post but for the following reasons:

1. There is a big difference between criticizing someone and insulting someone. Most of you don't critisize. You don't even read the article most times. You immediately proceed to insult his family and tribe. That is why some people will continue to resist you.

2. Most of the people who insult GEJ always defend Tinubu, fashola, Buhari, El rufai, etc. So how can we take them seriously? If these people criticize all politicians, then we would have a different issue on our hands. They defended Fashola when he put up the Lekki toll, when he increased LASU fees to 250k, when he sacked 788 doctors just like that, over his failure to improve the lot of the masses, etc. They defend Buhari's callous approval of violence, etc. They defend Tinubu's many attrocities including being a dictator and his excesses in handling Lagos finances. They even tell us El Rufai is a saint. So why should we take them seriously when they attack GEJ?

3. They will never, never, never commend any good move by GEJ. It is like they will go crazy if they ever do. It has become a thing of bitterness and they will actually tell you it will not work like they actually don't want it to work.

4. They will echo every falsehood and blackmail about GEJ that they find around the Internet. They will even twist every thread into a GEJ bashing thread. Sometimes, you read some thread and you wonder what the heck has GEJ got to do with it. I even found guys bashing GEJ in the thread that talked about legislators salary. And when an article is found to be false, there is no rejoinder, apology or even an acknowledgement of the fact that it is false. Instead, some will even go philosophical and say "time will tell", "na today?", "who is fooling who", "they are deceiving us" and so on.

If you want to critisize the president, first show your willingness to be just and non partisan then you will be fully supported.

Just to add. How come those being labelled 40 laptops are not even up to 10 persons while those shouting 40 laptops are actually up to 40? Irony?
Personally, I think this post settles it. I try to pride myself in being at the centre, because Beaf and Co on d extreme right make no sense watsoever and only bring more enmity to d govt wit their statements. They ar not even good spinners: just wannabe PR image-cleaners wit no success.
On the other hand, those who find it deepy satisfying to bash GEJ even for thir dog's poo are also extreme and d game is not only stale but has robbed any objective and constructive views they wud hv had of any credibility. They simply over-over-over-do it. And it is clear that it is borne out of hatred, why, for d life of me, I can't teell.

So d best option is urs. Perfect. If it were llike this, there wudnt b much rancour. There wudnt b dis feeling of sworn-enmity and parallelism of opinions.
But dem go ever gree? It wud seem as if one side has 'won' if any shifted grounds. Well, for me, I try hard to present a balanced view.

You are an internet Nigerian like the rest of them. I don;t know why you left the romance & family board, even though they are only fooling themselves the internet Nigerians here at least pretend they are Nigerians, on your board you all claim that you are from the USA, UK, Australia and Mars. You should try and learn the political terrain before you open your mouth and speak.
The selfsame thing u are berating others for:insults. Yet u cudnt do witout sarcastic innuendoes in ur own post.
And btw, if they attack u for bin pro-GEJ, and u now attack them for attacking u, ar all of u not d same now? If ur convictions r soid, why bother wen people e-persecute u for ur views? Is dis d same kind of paranoia d so-called leaders hav too?

Beaf: Sadly, there is a lot of truth in what David Mark is saying.
Presenting robust opposition is a completely different thing from sedition, lies, false rumours, slander and other forms of lawlessness.

Right here on NL, we even have mods like OAM4J who take their unethical and irresponsible behaviour to common sense defying levels that can only be described as stup!d. In my opinion, a couple of people need to learn a legal lesson or two.

Ask the foolish London teenager (Luke Angel) that called Obama a pr*ck in an email after one too many beers. All the way in the UK, the police popped round, took his picture and explained to him that he was banned from the US for LIFE. At 17!
You can imagine that secret services will be on his tail for life and he now has no future.

US security services regularly haul in people who make demeaning or threatening statements on the web for questioning (or more). The Nigerian constitution is tailored after the US one, so why not do the same thing?

Lets just be civil and truthful.
