That isn't true at all. There is a reason everyone wants to do an MBA at Kellogs or UPenn rather than Idaho State.

MBA in those schools is mainly for networking. All organizations can't pay the salary of a Kellogg MBA graduate. If you finish from Idaho your own job will also be waiting for you. The current Indian global CEO of Deloitte Punit Renjen is an example!

Then I got a response from the director of the unit where the position is opened asking for my intended course of study.
My intended course of study is among the eligible programs list.
Sharparly I sent it to her and she responded by acknowledging the receipt of the update.

I finished my master program on scholarship here in Turkey and i have just been accepted into the master program at Georgia State University for Fall 2021 with tuition waiver and graduate lab assistantship position but with a meagre stipend (not upto my expectation).

I have upto 1 month to decide to accept or not because I still have about 8 other pending decisions from other schools that I am waiting for.

I guess I should wait for a school with better offer. What do you guys think? Anybody with any idea about this school? Is it a school with good reputation?

How much is the meagre stipend? And have you checked the average stipend paid to graduate assistants in the USA to compare yours?

More dates in Lagos will definitely be opened for fall from April, since your I-20 will be ready next month, there is no need to fret. By then more dates should have popped up. If it doesn’t, you will have to request for an expedited appointment.

If you want to know the old email address you used before (in 2018), create a new cgi profile with a different email and use the exact same details as what you must have used during your application in 2018 like your name and most importantly your passport number. When you try to save those information, a message will pop up showing that another profile with so so and so email address has used those exact details. You will get the old email address from that pop up message. If you still have access to the old email, you can use the forgot password button to reset your password. But if you don’t have access to it any longer, you can call the embassy’s customer care for help.

I love how you've been able to help people answer difficult questions on this forum. I will be going to the USA for fall admission and full funding but this appointment date in Lagos January 22 will be too late and I might lose my funding. Congrats, that's a very good offer. I think you can use the "fill & sign" tool on Adobe to electronically sign the offer letter, and email to them without having to print it. That should work.

I think if they asked you to send a hard copy of the signed offer, you should. You may not get i20 until the form is probably received by them.

Some schools don't mail i20 and if they are one of them, they would send it to you using courier which you should get in days.

Sevis is $350. Visa fee as at last week was #67200.

Appointment date starts from 2022 January and starts coming down as days of your resumption draws near or as the embassy opens dates.

You should be Interviewed before your resumption date though. The emergency route too is available.

If you ask me, get your i20 first as you can't do Visa registration without it.

I drove my car (Toyota Corolla 2004) on a 3 hours journey down to my location for Christmas today. I drove down on full AC and no issues, except that the air vent brought out water vapor when it was very cold from the air vent. On getting home, I wanted to get somewhere after an hour.
