It rained black in Eket on Tuesday, 8/8/17.

A carbon laden rain was noticed in the oil city of Eket today. Residents woke up today to witness what could rightfully call a “Black Rain”.
According to the Facebook user Daniel Edon, he took sample of it for a lab test and promised that the report will be made public.

“Incessant gas flare and oil spill is destroying our environment, while our people are only interested in politics and elections.

I just witnessed a drama this morning.

A blogger had issues with his blog and requested help in the "respected" facebook blogging group.
Someone offered to help but the next thing we hear is that the supposed helper after getting the WP login details reset the login, "kidnap" the blog and started asking for for ransom before he could release the blog.

After confrontation in the group, he said that when he saw that the blog was doing well in traffic, he decided to block the owner and put his adsense on the blog to run for some days.

Sir, it is not a black thing. Humans all over the world fight themselves when they tend to be oppressed. Best unity is when you respect each other boundaries. Europe is the most fragmented continents with countries so small that 10 of them can fit into Nigeria.

They realized that they have distinct culture and way of life and divide along that line in other to develop at natural speed, afterwards, they decided that in spite of the difference, they can accomplished many things together so they formed the European Union.

Yugoslavia was divided, Czechoslovakia, USSR etc and today they exist in mutual respect. But in Africa, a group is forcing others to remain in an unwilling union and you are talking about black awareness?

It is not a black thing, it is common human sense
