Politics › Re: Boko Haram Militants Overrun Prestigious Mobile Police Training College In Gwoza by ITbomb(m): 6:50am On Aug 21, 2014
tit: How do you reconcile the police running a training college in Gwoza and at the same time, Gwoza is said to be over-run by BH?
This is exactly the issue I'm trying to reason out before I can believe this story.

What is exactly happening in Borno State?

If you are free, you might consider her
Politics › Re: Question Of The Day:- What Will Nigerians Remember Goodluck Jonathan For? by ITbomb(m): 8:46am On Aug 20, 2014
nurey: I will remember him as a president that didn't support Agriculture sector which could have provided millions of direct, indirect and legal jobs.
You really need a better source of info.

Lots has been achieved by Goodluck in Agriculture.
Nigeria is a net producer of rice now.
Fertilizers are more accessible to rural farmers due to the innovative e-order by mobile phones.
More dams has been constructed to aid all year farming.
Loans with less interest rates are available to farmers.

Romance › Re: I Dnt Know If I Shud Tell Ha Mum by ITbomb(m): 7:01am On Aug 19, 2014
Akpaife: @OP
And u told d boy dat u dnt wat 2 him in dat room again n tell d girl 2 put on her pant n go wash all dishes
Just listen 2 ur self an adult like u,u r asking me wht 2 do so if dat girl is ur sister u dnt no wat 2 do u let d corrupt he n she goat 2 go free just like dat
U cnt handle dat matter let mum no abt it
A lot can be achieved without spanking.
Spank the girl and she plans to be more discreet next time. See for yourself, upon all the spanking our parents dealt with us, we still did what we did.

The two are definitely going to meet each other and you probably may not be there.
The best way is education and telling the mum to be careful of usual behaviour of the girl with the boy.
I could say, she left the unwashed dishes and was in a locked room with the boy and encourage her to educate her daughter
Romance › Re: Can Friendship Work Out After Breaking Up With Your Partner? by ITbomb(m): 6:20am On Aug 19, 2014
firstEVA: Except of course, she's an angel who holds no grudge.
Girl, it is more of maturity than being an angel.
A wise person should know when something is not going to work out and strive to be at peace with all men.

Personally I believe the world is getting smaller and I have this notion that as much as possible let my last meeting with anyone end up peacefully, you may never know where or what circumstances you will meet again.

That girl you saw selling okrika might be the wife of the president tomorrow, (apologies to mama peace)

Romance › Re: Can Friendship Work Out After Breaking Up With Your Partner? by ITbomb(m): 5:05pm On Aug 18, 2014
Actually it is happening to me.
The key there is knowing at an early time when it is no longer working and playing the game called "the beginning of the end".

The guy she left me for didn't really turn out as expected so she decided to take a break from relationship and I'm now the chairman of the Advisory Board

Strictly online only
Romance › Re: How Do You Cope When Your Partner Is On Nairaland by ITbomb(m): 4:47pm On Aug 18, 2014
I always believe in openness in a relationship.
Here's what to do baby, install two browsers on your phone, the one you use for everyday use, you use that one to log in to this account. Be a good girl and give him your password. And make sure the shortcut to that browser is on your home permanently

Then, open another nairaland account with the other browser for your personal use and tell us everything that is going on in your relationship, we are here to help

Romance › Re: Should I Or Should I Not Tell Him? by ITbomb(m): 4:34pm On Aug 18, 2014
Since it is a once in a season prob, the best is to tell him.

Don't wait for it to happen to come back to nairaland and cry whether he really loved you.

Do 'let's play a game' title of the game, "what is your worst embarrassing moment" and tell him. He might be surprised and tell you he doesn't believe it. Just tell him you have been dealing with it and you hope it will never happen again.

Nairaland General › Re: Beware Of These SCAM Mails From Banks by ITbomb(m): 12:48pm On Aug 18, 2014
I have been seeing many from banks and yahoomail

The people most susceptible to this scam are those that use email app and especially iPad and iPhone users and safari browser.

The scammers uses the feature that hid the full email address and display only the name of the mail owner which can be customised at will.

Seeing Yahoomail email address and logo, some people might not even check for the full address of the sender.
Health › Re: Ebola: Nigerian Research Firm Submits Sample Drugs To FG by ITbomb(m): 11:05am On Aug 18, 2014
The logic I'm seeing here is that the aspect of Ebola that kills is the internal and external bleeding, others are just symptoms of a weaken body system.

So get a drug that can stop the bleeding then the disease is 80% cured as we already have drugs for the other aspect of the disease.

Let's see the outcome of the verification
Business › Re: NACCIMA Proposes Naira For ECOWAS Single Currency by ITbomb(m): 6:38am On Aug 18, 2014
"So all we have to do is to work on our own Naira because in the past, people were traveling with the Naira to abroad because the Naira was more or less the single currency in West Africa. If the value of the naira today is N50 to the US$, a lot of experts in America would come back to Nigeria because the value of the currency. If you are mighty, other economies will run after you," he said.
I'm yet understand why people are still listening to this "mighty currency" mirage.
Right now the Japanese Yen is almost at par with the Naira yet the economy is buoyant and businessmen are running to it.
A mighty currency without a production economy will collapse on it own weight.

The strength of any currency is in its stability over time not necessarily its strength against the dollar

Romance › Re: Guys - Would You Consider Dating A 19 Year Old If You Were In Your 30s? by ITbomb(m): 3:35pm On Aug 17, 2014
ailehwise: I will be in my 30s very soon an girls seems not to bliv my age cos am younger than my age.
So guyz, sb lyk me to this age.
For someone like you, I would advise you to go for a girl with an age difference of 7 to 10.
Because, if you marry your age mate or even less than 5 years difference, at 40 years you will be living with an older woman while you are still a young bobo. Worse still if she gets fatter after childbirth, she go resemble your senior sister and that could be a cause for infidelity
Romance › Re: Guys - Would You Consider Dating A 19 Year Old If You Were In Your 30s? by ITbomb(m): 2:01pm On Aug 17, 2014

Politics › Re: This Generation Of Leaders Have Failed Us As A Nation! True Or False by ITbomb(m): 1:56pm On Aug 17, 2014
IGLE25: The last ASUU strike would have been the best time to make our voice heard by our leaders rather some of us were so happy to return to our parents house. What I was thinking then is that the NANS President and other Excos would have initiated the move while others follow. Is as simple as telling students residing in various part of the country to take to the street and make our intention known to our leaders. Telling them how far they have badly led us and put us in a stagnant state. We all know how to go about this. It is a simple logic. If we allow our aged parents to do this for us we will grow old and our children children will be waiting for their paarents too to go on their behalf.
Aluta Continua.... Victoria Ascertain.....
Abeg ..
That was when I lost hope on Nigerian youths.
I expected mass actions by the students to improve learning conditions but unfortunately the undergraduates, just went home waiting for when they will call off the strike not caring to know whether the issues have been resolved or not.

And yet you will see youths wearing branded t-shirts with politicians names standing in the hot sun to show solidarity and expecting some peanuts.

They overstayed their welcome and ran out of ideas.

It is a pity, the next generation were not prepared to take over.
That is why Jonah Jang is still a governor and Buhari still wants to be president
