Culture › Re: Why Would A Human Being Classify Another As An Outcast "Osu" ? by iterator25:
Black Peni5: The culture and tradition of every society does not only tell the story of their past, but is also an indication of how well that society will develop in the future.

Everything we hold dear today as "tradition" started with a ruler many hundred years ago. Most of these rulers made these laws based on the society of that time.

A lot has changed but we still hang on to some old primitive traditions such as the "Osu" syndrome which classifies human beings as outcasts.

I find it appalling that this tradition is still being religiously upheld in the Eastern Part of this country (I wonder if it exists anywhere else). Unfortunately most people who discriminate call themselves Christians and all what not.

I am not an Osu...besides I don't even come from that part of the world. But I think it is a Stvpid Tradition.
are you Nigerian at all huh

I can't and will never be deceived by all these unfaithful musicians. I once liked Olamide but the way he's behaving these days and the kind of people he associate with made me hate him. Street boy gone bad. Gosh[/quote]what's this one saying huh

sonickay: Seconded. This looks like an "assembling point" to me, that shud be the right phrase not "manufacturing", Armoured Personnel Carriers are not plastic toys, it requires lots of manpower, time and resources to build.

Politics › Re: Richest Countries In Africa According To Their GDP by iterator25: 11:31am On Nov 10, 2013
HolyHolla: Where to?

In Egypt, you have the Muslim Brotherhood uprising and they are killing Christians.

In South Africa, Nigerians are fast becoming 'persona non grata' and are under attacks and harassments.

In Algeria, you also have the throat-cutting Muslim Brotherhood killing Christians.

In Nigeria, you have the fraudster government officials stealing us dry.

In Morocco, you dare not be caught stealing as common in Nigeria.

In Angola, you'd better be an Angolan to steal like a Nigerian.

In Libya, Nigerians are still suspect in protecting Ghadaffi, and many are still languishing in prisons, plus, they are burning Churches and forcing Christians to convert under threat of beheading.

In Sudan, you may be caught up in North-South conflicts over control of oil.

In Tunisia, there are many Nigerians already, trying to cross the desert to Europe, do it can't be 'Uhuru'.

In Ethiopia, you have only the maize farms to work on and I doubt if a Nigerian would want to fit into the rigors of subsistence farming with cutlass and hoe. Even tgen, where is the land for you in a country fast encroached by desertification?

We'd better find ways to get our acts together as a nation so we can enjoy Nigeria. Even, "Andrew" died without being able to check out!!!
bros, no vex o, Who be Andrew?
