MajesticIgbo:Yes, indeed; but not forgotten. |
MajesticIgbo:In retrospect, I agree; however, we have to stay as one in order to punish those who had caused our pain - and we have been doing that ever since. |
It is not going to Amelica but leturning home flee. ![]() |
Peaceplay0:He is there most likely negotiating how he would mortgage Nigeria to the Americans in return for his freedom - and the gullible ones are over themselves in jubilation. |
MajesticIgbo:Unfortunately, the British ill advised us to reconsider and having already expended so much in the prosecution of the war; we can look back at it as restitution and Karma served a thousand fold for the innocent lives of our leaders killed in cold blood. |
Kahujadekadura:My friend, either challenge the issues raised head on or just keep quiet - I have little patience for time wasters. |
marvinsync:I am glad you actually agreed that the Igbo coup was a mistake. However, the irony remains that many of you are professing Biafra in name only while being the main beneficiaries of One Nigeria. If you guys are quite serious why not waka commot from other ppl's region, dem give una quick notice but una no gree commot; even for Boko Haram Borno sef una still dey kampe - just tell me, who is holding you back or stopping you from regrouping in your Biafra, what forces are blocking your way ? Meanwhile, Kanu from safe away Israel is telling you to follow his order of "no erection only lefelendum"; yet many of you are still falling over yourselves Atikulating for yet another northerner, in defiance to your own Dilector - who therefore will ever take you seriously?

Its unfortunate that many are failing to read the message but reacting to the messenger with their usual ill directed venom. |
Somebody should have informed the judge that Dino was busy in rehearsal for his next action comedy |
What an act of unkindness; even if he meant well, he shouldn't have blown the man's cover, especially as the man's livelihood seemed to have depended on it. |
lonlytroy:While others are also Atiku Pigs.
|
We no care; even a dead Buhari with integrity is better than a live corrupt Atiku - sai Baba all the way. |
Abeg free the man; even late Kofi Anan, the former UN Secretary, who was quite erudite was also known for his habitual slip of tongue - and was not as aged or over worked as PMB. |
Tripleanthony:When it comes to votes in the north, Buhari is the ppl's choice; even the opposition aspirants know whats up and clamour to hitch a free ride on PMB's train of popularity by openly supporting him - at the expense of their own party. |
Truth is bitter; many here simply can't handle it - mostly unfortunately some of them will our leaders of tomorrow. |
Kahujadekadura:Rather than ask me questions; why not go and read then come back and counter my points with the facts you must have read - it is obvious you are not saying anything but only relying on mere innuendos without making any point. |
You can see how he has completely lost his moral compass; he felt absolutely no shame in making that statement because in his corrupt mindset, that supposedly a valid position to hold - and some ppl want to make him president; so he could share out our national assets to his friends and cronies, as he did before.

Kahujadekadura:What utter rubbish! Nigeria was a true federation made up four regions where each region operated almost like an independent country with its own flag, foreign policy etc; developing at its own pace, using its own resources and charting its own destiny for its ppl (this was unfortunately what the Igbos destroyed with their coup and which everybody has been paying for). The regions were also engaged in healthy competition where each fought fiercely to protect the interest of its ppl. Your problem with the Sardauna was that he passionately championed the interest of the north and did not therefore open the region to southern domination; especially to those from the SE - much in the same way the southern premiers did not opened their regions to northerners. Unfortunately the Igbos would not accept that (they wanted everything; their region for themselves and the north as well) so the killed him. |
rexwalters:I am sure you are not serious with that question.
|
Started by Kwankwaso finished by Ganduje - we have continuity of governance in Kano. |
OGHENAOGIE:So Chukwuma was not Igbo because there were no Igbos in Bendel and because he was born and bred in Kaduna? - very nice try; yet you call me ignorant. |
The evil old man should just shut up; if they had not intervened and disrupted our nascent democracy, Nigeria would have been a better place today. What corruption, when their main targets; the Sardauna and the prime minister hardly had any assets: mere modest houses/farms each and almost empty bank accounts? What nepotism, when most of the appointed positions made by the prime minister Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa (including all the service chiefs) were filled by Igbos? What Jihad? How could the Sardauna have waged jihad on the whole country when he as the premier of northern region had control and influence over only ONE out of the FOUR existing regions at the at time? Blatant lies and excuses for their evil deeds Their motivation for the coup was clearly tribal and regional hatred fuelled by individual and collective bloated egos - they just couldn't stand the fact that those they were looking down upon as inferiors were in charge. If the plotters were truly patriotic and their mission was to rid the country of all the evils they claimed; then why didn't they come up with any vision or blue print plan to address the said problems when they took over, beyond their short sighted goal of the lopsided killings of mostly northern leaders? No matter how much they try to twist the truth or re-write history; they cannot remove the facts that: the coup was an Igbo coup; planned and executed by mainly Igbos; which targeted only non-Igbos; Igbos stood to benefit and indeed benefited most from it. In order to consolidate power to themselves; they interrupted our nascent democracy; dismantled the regional system of government and replaced it with the unitary system we have inherited today - which had since been the bane of this country; yet they are the ones at the forefront of those calling for restructuring while blaming northerners for the very problem they caused themselves. |
See his oblong head. |
Chai, Atiku come see something. |
Yes, we know how you sold our national assets for peanuts to yourself, friends and cronies.
|
Can you imagine, 2.2Billion from just one person - and they say Buhari is not fighting corruption.
|
eagleeye2:There is a big government machinery always working in support and on behalf of a president; he doesn't have to know and be involved in every decision; since there is such thing as the power of delegation and responsibility within the system. |
When it comes to insults, it is second nature to some ppl, we know them. |
FFK, Reno, PDP now confirmed source of Fake News - they love to mislead their gullible followers.
|
So Southern and Middle Belt Leaders were the source of this Fake News; they directed you to throw caution to the wind and release this lie without any verification? Yet if the DSS were to arrest and put you in detention, you and your ilk would be the first to be shouting witch hunting. |
OGHENAOGIE:Many like you had tried to re-write history and failed because the facts are incontrovertible: the brains behind the planning and execution of the coup were mainly Igbos; those targeted and killed in the coup were non - Igbos; those who stood to benefit and indeed benefited from the coup were Igbos; the unitary system that formed today's basis of complain and cry for re-structuring was introduced by an Igboman; yet those critical and blaming the north for it are mainly southerners and majority of them Igbos. The coup plotters gave corruption as the reason for their action; yet took power without any vision for the future of the country or concrete plans of reform to address the very issue of corruption they claimed existed at the time. Ironically, their main targets; the Sardauna and Tafawa Balewa, had virtually empty bank accounts and surprisingly only modest houses/farms to their names - which disproved the allegations of corruption against them and further gave credence to the speculation that the only motivation of the plotters was sheer hatred and their egos. Yes, the subsequent counter coup, the pogrom and civil war were all individually terrible but wouldn't have followed if the 1st coup, which many historians agreed was an Igbo coup, did not happen at all; and furthermore Nigeria would probably had been better off had it continued practising its regional system of government i.e. true federalism - which the Igbo apparently destroyed. |
