This epitomises the corrupt mindset and Atiku's lack of principle. Here he is ready to use his vast wealth (and no doubt would do same with govt treasury) to buy a man's conscience; it didn't matter to him that the man joined him only for the money and not for any other reason - imagine such a person as your President!
In any case, the car is only a cheap tokumbo old model not even new one as you would have expected from a loaded tycoon like Atiku; it would not even surprise me if the man should go behind his back and still vote Buhari - chop and clean mouth kawai!
Ziggylady: No sane person expected President to attend the debate.
..He does not have the mental and physical capacity to do that, never had and never will...His foolishh followers know that too.
He has no need to sell himself to Nigerians any more than he has already done; since nearly everybody knows his policies and capability both as president and former head of state.
He is therefore done with debating, having already gone through that routine before - since 2011 when others like GEJ a supposed PhD holder couldn't face the same challenge.
Some ppl are incorrigible and pathologically stupid; pls how could the blatant misrepresentation of facts in a doctored series of tapes put together by a serial liar to discredit the president be misconstrued as vote of no confidence against him?
PMB is like the boxing champion who has attained his peak; while contenders will jostle for a place in the queue to fight him; he on the other hand would have earned the right to the privilege of choosing when and where to fight his battles.
President Buhari has completed his rounds of debate since 2011 and moved on to the next level where his opponents are yet to reach.
In the same vein, Atiku should also not have sent his running mate Peter Obi (a.k.a. Him Tu Lie) to represent him in Amelica?
The Director-General of President Muhammadu Buhari Election Campaign Council, Rotimi Amaechi, has dismissed an audio recording linking him as saying that President Buhari did not read newspapers or listen to news on the economic situation in the country. He said that he was not aware of the presence of such audio which is now being played on several online platforms. When he was for his comments on the audio that went viral, Amaechi said: “Nothing. I am not aware of any audio recording.” Further told that the audio was gaining momentum on different online websites, the immediate past governor of Rivers State and incumbent Minister of Transport said: “Do I do website?” It would be recalled that an audio detailing Amaechi’s criticism of the Buhari administration went viral some days ago. In the audio, Amaechi was reported to have said: “This country can never change, I swear. The only way this country can change is in a situation where everybody is killed.” In the audio, Amaechi was also reported to have said: “This country is going nowhere. When Magnus (Abe) was secretary to the Rivers State Government (SSG), I told him that this country is hopeless and helpless and he told me, ‘Oga, stop it’. This cannot be coming from a governor. “But two months in Abuja, Magnus came to meet me and said, ‘I agree with you; this country is hopeless and helpless. All they do in Abuja is to share money. “I have already written to the governor of Katsina State and I don’t know why he has not replied to give us the land in Daura for a university in Daura. The next university would be in my village. There is a popular saying while we were growing up, that charity begins at home. Will my own begin abroad? “The president does not listen to anybody. He doesn’t care. You can write what you want to write. Does he read? I was flying with him in the aircraft and we saw a news report where a goat seller was complaining that he couldn’t sell his goats during Sallah because of Buhari’s administration. And the president said what’s my business with goat sellers?”.
Useless blogger; all this long epistle to confuse gullible PigDiots (who are the ones that obviously can't read or comprehend well) while what the man actually said, was he wasn't aware of the alleged leaked audio nor does he do websites (i.e. read the social media) - shekenan.
Turantula: My muslim friend, just becos of 30k you have decided to be foolish, did you read what you just typed? You said that he is not a poor reader? Or maybe you meant to say he can't read?
Foolishness belongs to a person who depends on innuendos and speculations rather facts; if you have the evidence that he is indeed a poor reader, pls advance it - I am waiting.
Note some of us have actually gone to school and are not intellectually lazy.
As usual the PDP ranting machine distracting attention from more important campaign issues and concentrating on frivolous personal matters between lower rung actors down the line.
What a disgrace; the person in the news clip can't even read the script written for her, let alone discuss it intelligently - SMH @ intellectually lazy you youths with poor comprehension; many among them here in Nairaland masturbating over yet another fake news from Reno Omokri.
SalamRushdie: Ameachi Leaked Tape is an eye opener into what the president's aides actually think of him, see below 7 (seven) things to takeaway from the tape .
1. The President doesn't care about Nigerians
2. The President doesn't care about Small Businesses
3. The President doesnt understand the relationship between govt policies and the economy .
4. The President is a poor reader.
5. The President laughs at the suffering of Nigerians .
6. Ameachi doesn't believe Nigeria is going anywhere
7. The President's aides know that poverty and suffering is escalating but prefer to lie to him all is well

How unfortunate that some ppl have apparently fallen for that proven doctored lie from a renown serial liar like Reno Omokri, a person who has been caught in so many lies of recent.
If anything could have been learnt from the doctored tapes is that the president has decided to develop a thick skin against personal attacks and lies against him. The President is not a poor reader, because he reads the insults and ranting; but instead of taking offence he opts to amuse himself by laughing and sharing them with them others. He prioritise his attention on more important national issues rather than on individuals - which his aides and assistants are paid to attend to. He therefore does not micro-manage policies but believes in the power of delegation and non interference; especially as he had set up strong economic team, as judged by improving economic indices - indeed what business would a president have to do with a goat dealer when more urgent matters like Boko Haram; Benue, Zamfara killings are begging for his attention.
Thatdopekelly: Hahahahahaha, Epic troll to these zombies. Meanwhile, say no to #APC and #PDP. They both attend same class
Please do not include me in the list of those you call Zombies, it is an insult; otherwise I'd be oblige to apply forum rule no2 against you - especially over what is obviously a fraudulently edited version of the original tape by a known serially discredited liar, like Reno Omokri.
I have said before and will say it again; the Reno tapes were doctored, edited out of context - Reno is a liar and had been caught in far too many lies already.
I am yet to be convinced that Amaechi was not being quoted out of context; all the recordings are far too short and could have easily been lifted out of the main body of a conversation to give it a different meaning.
Amaechi sounded more like someone catching fun; he was laughing and joking throughout the conversation; he didn't sound sound bitter or disappointed like someone frustrated and therefore bad mouthing the president - it is quite possible that he could even be jokingly mimicking someone to another person when that short version was cut out.
Reno should try harder next time and produce more convincing evidence which had not been severely edited out but the conversation still intact and within its main original body context.
I was expecting a big bombshell, real damaging expose' and not a short anecdote; a completely harmless amusing gossip with no ill intent at all - indeed why should the president be concerned about an obscure goat seller when he had more important national issues waiting for his attention.
Yet again the recording is so short; could have been easily taken out of context; Reno should try again and release the complete version so that Nigerians can judge for themselves.
If this is only what they have; then it must be true that PDP are clutching at straws - their campaign is based on frivolity and not on serious issues.
