TruthinAction:
Yes, the past government did not do well in the fight against Boko Haram but this government is worse and in fact appears to be the sponsor. They release prisoners of Boko Haram and empower them to continue their attack. They send soldiers to fight and refuse to equip them for the fight. When the herdsmen kill, they call it a clash with farmers. No security personnel is immediately dispatched. No arrest made. But kill one fulani man, armies are immediately released and arrest made. Rustle one cow, armies are immediately released and arrest made. You want to continue to have a government that values the lives of cows more than that of humans. Unless you are a blood thirsty terrorists, this government does not deserve a second term.
You have apparently overlooked an important point in my post : when it comes to killings, no government had presided over mass killings of its citizens in peace time than during the GEJ administration.

The Fulani herdsmen vs farmers killings is nothing compared to the Boko Haram murders under GEJ's watch - when the terrorists held massive land territory and were murdering innocent families at will without military protection, because he had diverted the money needed for the war; the terrorist were even bold enough to bomb Abuja, the very seat of the government while the then president continue to dance Michael Jackson in Kano after declaring the said terrorists as his siblings.

What happened to the campaign for Atiku?
The words Atiku and Atikulating have suddenly gone down.
Has PDP and her Supporters lost the energy to carry on?
Have they now realised that they have no chance, thereby resulting to PROPAGANDA?
Why is PDP not educating Nigerians on their manifestoes (if they have any) instead of raising false alarms every hour?
If you ask PDP supporters, what are their manifestoes, they may not be able to tell you one ?
Why are they placing form over substance in the case of suspended CJN?
They are in mourning because they just realise that they have lost their Chief Returning Officer in the person of Walter Onnoghen; they are also worried and have suspended their campaign in order to strategise how to cover up all traces of payments made into the former CJN's account from being linked to them.

All north with exception of probably Benue and Taraba already in the bag; not to mention most of SW and one or two SS/SE - PMB will win hands down.

No matter what you people do, let God’s counsel concerning Nigeria. My deepest prayer for Nigeria is that God will deliver us from this terrorist government. Too many blood has been shed. So many children are now orphans. I certainly don't want to see this repeat itself. Enough is enough. If you wish him to continue, then you are equally a terrorist and the Almighty God will judge you all. There will be no CCT to bail you out.
Terrorist government is the one that was openly friendly with Boko Haram associates; whose own security adviser indicted the its party of being synonymous with Boko Haram (and was probably killed for that exposure); a government that selfishly diverted billions of dollars of the defence budget meant to fight Boko Haram towards its re-election at the expense of its own ppl and army - no government had presided over so much killings, except during the civil war, than the last government; however, etno-religious had blinded from that reality.
May God help you along with those lost to such gullibility.

I have already given you the basic difference; but apparently you are too dull to understand - yet you have the audacity to question my intellect.

BTW, the president wasn't acting outside the constitution; he was relying on a legal loophole; among them Onnoghen himself gave a landmark judgement in 2013 pertaining to the powers of the CCT.

Go and get better educated before you come here and start insulting ppl out of your sheer ignorance.

Then, you don't understand what is true federalism. There is separation of power and the three alms of Government must operate within the ambient of the law. Please, go back to school and learn rather than support an act that virtually everyone including the international community has condemned. Unless you are one of the criminals in Nigeria.
You are the one who apparently needs to go back to school to learn the difference between federalism i.e. sharing of power between physically distinct composite federating units that make up a country and the separation of power between the three arms of government in a democracy - big difference.

Politics › Re: The Cjn’s Removal: The Lamps Are Going Out All Over Nigeria- Opinion by ItsMeAboki(m): 9:11am On Jan 27, 2019
oladele00:
Almost everyone on social media voiced former Finance Minister Kemi Adeosun into resigning. Some even asked that the President remove her to prove that he's truly fighting corruption. When the brilliant woman saw that she truly erred by submitting a fake NYSC Exemption certificate, she did the honourable thing. She tendered her resignation letter and left. She RESIGNED!
By that time, those of you ethnic jingoists didn't see Kemi as a Southerner. You screamed at her, cyber bullied her and even hurled abuses at her. Now it is the turn of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen, who admitted himself that he 'forgot' to declare his domiciliary accounts which was loaded with £23,409, €49,971 and $391,401, including 55 houses undeclared, and by so doing, he breached the Code of Conduct as a Public officer and was suppose to have resigned straightaway if he had any modicum of honour, integrity and shame as the custodian of the Nigerian Law, but he didn't. Instead, he was doing everything to stall his trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal. All those times, you didn't call for his resignation the same way you did with Kemi, you didn't bully him to resign the way you bullied Kemi, you were instead urging him to stay on, you were drumming support for him and some of you that were deceiving yourselves with your forming neutrality didn't say anything all this while too, you deliberately turned dumb. When it was first revealed a fortnight ago that the Chief Justice of Nigeria didn't declare his domiciliary accounts with dollars starched in it, all you were vituperating was that the President wanted to remove him because he's a southerner. You acted dumb on the offence he committed. Now that the CJN has been suspended, those of you fake neutralists are now crying foul. You're screaming that democracy is in danger. Can y'all see how nonsensically hypocritical you are? Your hypocrisy is legendary. Your hypocrisy stinks. You shouted and bullied Kemi Adeosun into resignation but aiding Onnoghen who can't explain how he got the foreign currencies starched in his domiciliary accounts which he didn't declare plus 55 houses. A whooping 55 houses.
Instead of the CJN to resign honourably and go clear himself, he was busy running from pillar to post buying injunctions to stop the case against him. Just a couple of days ago, another $630,000 and $800,000 was discovered in his separate domiciliary accounts again. Y'all pretended you didn't see the news, abi? Sensing that he could be suspended by the NJC, the CJN quickly suspend their meeting indefinitely. Why? So that he can stay on. You can imagine!
You asked Kemi to resign but Onnoghen who was selling justice for dollars and deliberately didn't declare those dollars in his domiciliary accounts including 55 houses should stay on, and he should be left alone.
Arrant nonsense.

PDP are just wasting their breath, they are merely a party with no power to accept or reject any appointment by government.

The 72 hour suspension of their campaign over the Walter Onnoghen case goes a long way to show how they are in mourning concerning the loss of their member, especially his strategic position as CJN from where he could influence court judgements in favour of their party and also their individual corruption cases.

Never forget!

By this time 2015, Jonathan, the then sitting president was declared person non grata by some northern states. He was forbidden to campaign. Infant, his convoys were being pelted with stones in some northern cities.
Never forget, that by this time 2015, jonathan's coffins were being carried in campaign rallies in some northern cities.

But today, president buhari, despite all his nepotism against the south south and south east, is being welcomed with songs .

Never forget, that by this time 2015, Obama invited all the northern governors to scheme on how to remove jonathan by all means.
But today, president buhari, despite his obvious and smelling nepotism against the south east and south south, is being supported by some governors from the south.

God bless Nigeria
Never forget when Jonathan sacked northerners and replaced them with southerners - nobody complained like southerners are complaining today.
Never forget how GEJ allowed his kinsmen, Asari Dokubo and his wife PEJ respectively threaten and insult northerners at will.
Never forget how GEJ allowed SE governors to arrest and detain travelling northerners without any evidence at all as Boko Haram suspects - until northerners threatened retaliation.
Never forget how GEJ allowed same governors threatened northerners with the discriminatory policy of profiling/registration and issuing them with special ID cards.
Never forget how GEJ openly and publicly courted Igbos, saying they were the pillars of his cabinet.

ValCon888:
Your first point is baseless and pointless. An ex-parte order that was issued without any application from either party.

Secondly, let me disabuse the minds of many people who say Goodluck did it to Sanusi. Get this in your head; The Central Bank Governor is under the executive arm of government. The Central Bank regulates financial institutions and executes policies to that effect. The Central Bank Governor is also a political office holder who serves at the pleasure of his president.

The CJN on the other hand is the head of an entirely different arm of government. He is not a political office holder but a judicial officer. Under the principle of separation of powers, he does not serve at the pleasure of the president and as such cannot be suspended by said president.

He can only be removed and the constitution has laid down steps and procedures for his removal. The purported suspension is not only illegal, it is also dangerous for our democracy as this can lead to anarchy in the future where presidents and governors 'suspend' their CJs for not carrying out their bidding.

*Modified*
For the zombies quoting me; Justice Ayo Salami was suspended by the NJC on the 11th of August 2011. I detest being quoted by mindless fools who fail to understand the integrity of their country is in jeopardy.
Although your attention has been drawn to the legal differences between Removed and Suspended but to no avail.

Did you also know that the same Onnoghen gave a landmark judgement according supremacy to the CCT over decisions pertaining to the present subject matter?
