A Hollywood remake of a 2002 Hong Kong movie called "Internal Affairs"

Anyway, my score would have been higher but I'm not a fan of the ending.
While I know that many people had issues with the message of the last scene of the rat running on the window...that is not my issue with it....


My main issues with the ending is the choices characters made. All starting from William.

Both characters have been shown throughout to be really smart...yet at the end they were making sîlly decisions that didn't make any sense at all.

All William needed was his identity and some money. The moment he saw that envelope, he had enough view of it to know what was written, he shouldn't even have touched it or acted like he saw it...

Get back your identity and money first, then make some insurance before you leave. It's that simple. Even if he wanted to report he could have, but instead he simply just left the office...

That's dûmb af...

The other spy Castello had had 0 reason to give himself away...
What did he think was gonna happen?

He was free...no one knew who he was...he knew who the spy was instead...
All he had to do wait things out...walk away free

Even if he suspected Castello might have a back up plan the worst move ever is to give himself away to a spy trying to cover his tracks...
That's childishly stûpid...


For a movie so we'll written until the last 20 minutes, it's such a shame what the writers did...it wasn't even that hard to end the movie well imo

Another inconsistency I noticed is why did Castello even need a rat in the first place?

He was literally an FBI informant and had the protection of the FBI. Why then did he need a spy in the state police?

That makes no sense imo...
Why also go on the run when he was raided? He knew he could be shot...
A better choice would be for him to be arrested, FBI takes over and set him free...

The 4 sef is for the animation and character designs...
The characters are all dull and sîlly making the most useless decisions possible

The writing took a massive nosedive from the original show

Richter Belmont who as a kid was a novice at magic, was unable to use magic for years cos of trauma...

But not only was he suddenly able to use magic, he suddenly became a master at magic when he couldn't use it for many years and he was a total novice when he last used it....

The dialogue is awful...just a bunch of random words being strung together trying to act deep...lol

Edouard singing in the prison all through made me want to punch him so bad


Not surprised by the reviews on IMDB.
But critics will rate it high cos of all the woke gày nonsense and characters trying to be free from slavery iish

Seen countless series start with a bang and fall off in subsequent seasons..... Seen a few start with aplomb and maintain the standard to the end.


I don't think I have ever seen a series ever go from 0-100% like WOT S1-S2.

Seems it has finally broken the anime to live action curse.
It was goofy just like the anime.
Wasn't perfect and some scenes showed amateur acting...but it was great overall...

Some actors put in a very great performance...better than I expected....

This show has just 7 episodes ..
I'll try to make this as spoiler free as possible...

Synopsis:
An office worker who is insecure about her looks, becomes a masked internet personality by night — until a chain of unexpected, ill-fated events overtakes her life.

This show is very unpredictable. I like how the story is told with multiple twists and time jumps...

Unlike what the premise implies, it mostly follows multiple characters connected by an unfortunate bloody event...with every character given enough screen time and backstory and motivations to properly flesh them out...

It also explores the relationship between physical appearance and identity... especially in the quest fame

Currently watching

I'm at episode 3 already. This show is so unpredictable
