So many twists and turns

The contrast between the motivation of both men to magic was great. One is pushed by love for the art of magic. While the other was pushed by the moment of thrill he gives the audience.
There is also the length both men are willing to go for their tricks

Also, I always suspected that Borden's trick was just as Cutter suspected...
But I felt a double wouldn't go the length of cutting off his fingers when Borden started performing without hiding his fingers


For the ending, why do I feel like there's still some final twist with Angier...?

One thing with Christopher Nolan movies. You don't finish them and just forget about them. Instead you keep thinking about them over and over again.

These are movies that leave an impression. Not one you forget 5 minutes after viewing

Dwayne Johnson's first appearance in the franchise. And he did deliver.
I didn't expect him to take much hits in this movie but he did.
Maybe he hadn't signed the contract where they limit the hits he takes...

They are dragging this series. At the end of every episode, they always make someone feel like the next episode will be a banger. Then the next episode, they drag it again until the end. Rinse and repeat.

There's a lot of story to tell. They should just tell it. It's a good show. Has a lot of potentials too.

I don't think the air is polluted. I feel there's something wrong with the head gear or helmet (whatever it's called). If you don't wear it out, you're fine. But if you wear it for long, there's a problem

I believe the head gear is designed to give false image and also it doesn't protect against the toxic air outside. It's designed not to protect them.

That's why they see the green image and clean for others to see it too. But before long the air gets them and they die



For the pacing of the series...they are dragging it truly...I heard they're only adapting half of the first book in this season. I heard that the repair of the machine scene was very short in the books but they wasted an entire episode on it in the series...

The pacing helps flesh out the Characters but they're overdoing it...and the flashbacks are annoying...I don't care about the romance between a dead guy and a living woman.

I'd prefer flashbacks that actually add more to the plot

I think the air outside is toxic. The suits have limited air and what the sheriff saw was a manipulated feed probably to fool him and others before him into cleaning. When he took the helmet off after he ran out of air, he actually saw the true toxic nature of the outside and thats what killed him in the end.

I feel there is only one path for Juliette. She will probably be sent outside. The only way she survives which I think she will since we can't invest this much time in her character and she just dies like that. Is if she gets a good suit with enough air. And she somehow finds out that she is seeing a manipulated feed.

That way she won't be tempted to remove the helmet and just wander what left of the planet. Maybe if there are other silos like Baddestguyp suggest, she will end up in the closest one.

I don't see her surviving past this season tbh...

I think she will go outside and die

The best of the FF franchise so far from my rewatch. The racing and stunts are far better than the first 2 movies.

It seems they actually used very good professional stuntmen for this movie cos the street racing is very good. Based on racing alone...it's probably one of the best in the entire franchise imo...
Everything here felt doable but still so well done...

Not like the latest movie where they were using cars to drive a bomb bal and even a steel safe l around the city without anybody getting hurt

And I like the Character of Han.
Even though I know his death later got retconned and he somehow survived...watching him die here was painful

I can see why he's a fan favorite and why they chose to bring him back

Erwin if he was alive, I believe he would choose negotiation. The existence of the rumbling is a major threat...and it can be used to negotiate deals in favour of Paradis instead of just wiping out the whole world...

The reason has been hinted at already in the anime...but gets confirmed later in the manga. It's been shown in her flashback but was very subtle so it's easy to miss

6. A civil war is brewwing on Paradis cos some people will definitely oppose this new empire...a lot of people are already unsatisfied with all the silencing that the Yeagerists have been doing
7. 9 Titans with no enemies leads to another Great Titan war...that's how the first Great Titan war started when Eldia had no enemies anymore and began fighting themselves until Karl Fritz ended the war with the help of the Tybur family and Marley

If the Hizuru could ally with Paradis for resources (especially the Iceburst stone), and share technology, then it's possible for Paradis to gain another ally too...
In fact they would have, if not for Hizuru's greed to monopolize the resources.

If they had time, Paradis could form get technologically advanced and form a military that doesn't rely on Titans. A mini-rumbling that destroys Marley's military bases could buy further time too
