BlueRayDick: If u read this link and can’t find answer to ur question, then I can’t help u further https://dailytrust.com/january-vow-wike-led-g5-fails-to-name-presidential-candidate Lmao, this is your evidence? Let's see what's in the link you posted. Speaking, while commissioning a project in Port Harcourt, Wike said he will not only tell his people who to vote for but will campaign for his choice of the presidential candidate throughout the country I would have expected to see "we will" and "our choice" to buttress your point. Let's read further A source close to the G-5 told Daily Trust that the governors might not come to a compromise on any preferred candidate as they might be forced to work individually based on local peculiarities. What source? When you have an actual evidence and not this peice of junk journalism, let us know. |

seankafor: wike literally said he'd name his preferred candidate by January.. which made everyone sit on toes to know who his anointed candidate would be
But atlas.. man chickened out like a chicken I agree. He's a coward. A lot of people were disappointed. However it was always obvious they can't support a single candidate. We have even discussed it on this thread. Makinde for instance will not support Obi. Ugwuanyi and Ikpeazu cannot publicly support Tinubu. The idea of them having a consensus candidate was always a pipedream. What I don't get is where all these G5 said they are supporting a single candidate is coming from. |

BlueRayDick: Which kind talk needs this ? When they were forming alliance and threatening to name a consensus candidate did they put a caveat on it that Atiku must must win against their candidate before they anybody can say they failed ?
See the kind excuse wey u invent on behalf of Wike 🤣
Wait a minute , do u know Buhari scored Less than 5% of the total votes cast in Rivers state in the 2015 presidential election ? Yet Amaechi who boldly decamped to APC was regarded as more influential in the victory of Buhari nationwide ?
All these excuse u are giving doesn’t hold water . Amaechi was wasn’t a coward that Wike is today; he knew APC wasn’t sellable in Rivers state but still supported Buhari’s APC with full chest, not all these chest beating ur man Wike is doing .
This is why I call him a neophyte and coward Except that you didn't answer the question Do you have any evidence of them saying they are endorsing a single candidate or you got it from PDPs propaganda media houses. The G5 governors are united in their lack of support for Atiku. As long as Atiku doesn't win, the goal has been achieved. Simple as ABC |

BlueRayDick: None of these things u've posted has negated the fact that Wike and his G-5 project failed woefully.
Wike has been revealed to be a political neophyte who led his fellow green horns astray. He's been grandstanding and making promises he couldn't keep. Till now he's unable to name his presidential candidate as promised.
They claim they will name one single candidate they will support but today we see Ortom supporting Obi with fill chest while Wike still dey zuzu. He even begged his people to please vote the candidate he will name.t9 save his political career. That's what political neophyte do bro. Atiku will have to win against their support before you can say they failed Do you have any evidence for the bolded? |

https://www.nairaland.com/7575538/polls-ortom-breaks-ranks-g5 Na so you post Ayus lies the other day that Ikpeazu has broken away and has now joined their camp. How market today? The man is still quoted as saying that the fight is beyond the 2023 elections. So much for someone who has joined their camp. The Ugwuanyi they said has chosen to now support Atiku did not even attend their rally. Cross Rivers nko, what happened when PDP went there to campaign? What of Ekiti? Whether Ortom supports Obi or not is besides the point. The koko is that they are all united in their lack of support for Atiku. There is no amount of lies from Ayu or PDP propaganda media arm that will change that fact. |

larride: Amaechi problem is his inability to shift ground and accommodate other party members. His constant battle with Magnus Abe is one of the problem. Magnus is also quite popular about in the riverine areas of Rivers (I stand to be corrected itsrm) which means what should be his leverage at the national level has been eroded. A man that cannot control his base wont be respected outside politically. Yes, you are correct. Magnus Abe is quite popular not just in the riverine area but generally in the state. The major problem he has is the party he is using to contest. |

Children test boundaries and once they know
The child that threw that tantrum outside has been getting away with it at home for long.
My mom used to have a saying
"omo oju" - Children where you only need to look at and they adjust immediately. They know what looks mean
Omo oro - Children you need to talk to or scold verbally before they adjust
Omo igi - Children you have to use cane for before they adjust You have to know which one the child is. Some if you use harsh words on them they cry for hours while some if you like use words, take away things or even beat them, they are on the way to the next mischief. And after a while they learn to dust it
I've heard Children boast to their friends that they can do stuff and get away with it. They always test boundaries
All options should be on the table and they are aware even if you don't willingly use it chrisooblog: Bro you'll surprised at the perfect brain resetting powers that a perfectly timed Igbaju or Ibarun will do to a troublesome child.
I think the trouble with most parents in Nigeria talking about the old school kind is always using physical punishment as discipline for every situation. I think spanking should only be used as a last resort that will make the child understand that they messed up badly but truth be told most times na prayers. You can beat your child like a runaway slave yet he turns out to be worse than Escobar others can be super indulgent with theirs yet he is more saintly than Mother Theresa. Maturity matters a lot sha. Its not by age though, but by being wise and sensible.
Itrsm supported Atiku, today he is supporting Obi. None of Batists crucifies him and we are still flowing here as Brothers.
Seankafor switches from BAT has balls to Obi, and at worse Atiku, I have not seen any Batist comes after him.
Izzou has finally come down from Fence to wholly support Obi, yet we are still relating well and he remains respected by every sensible person on this board.
Monerozi5590 stops believing in Obi candidacy, alas! He was roasted not even as Berbecue but as Suya.
Some Obidients are so reasonable sha on this same board - TrebleChamp, Segedinho, EmmanuelScott1 are typical examples.
Even though I have had lot of encounters with liveLongNprospa, I still respect him to some extent same as Theflint1.
Election is next week, next President will emerge and new hope gonna be renewed for a prosperous Nigeria.
There is no essence going dirty with anyone at this point. It's gonna change nothing or influence any goddamn thing.
Tinubu is coming!!! As you don give me another username, I'm just seeing this The bolded is not correct at all. I never wanted Atiku and I still maintain that Obi will not be able to do much differently. However, if I have a gun to my head and must vote, Obi has it. I can't for the life of me vote for Tinubu or Atiku |

BlueRayDick: Some of these things don't work like that. Growing up I wasn't really sold in on food like that. If u use no food to threaten me, it certainly wouldn't work cos ordinarily I can skip two meals and nothing would really happen.
There are children who wouldn't listen irrespective of any kind of reprimand u employ.
What I believe is there should be a balance, a parent should not subject the child to physical violence but then children require spanking once in a while when they cross the line. I don't support inflicting serious bodily injury to a child but a parent shouldn't totally spare the rod. The key is to take away something the child cherishes. If it's not food it will be something else. It works quite well for me. |

Ihebu4chelsea: he is stll young!! Even the bible recommended "spare the rod and spoil the child" I have a close friend who was never beaten by his dad and very rarely by his mum. He and his siblings turned out quite alright. Beating a child may not necessarily stop them from doing what made you beat them, they will only make sure you don't find out next time. My view is that we are a product of our environment and the friends we kept while growing up and not necessarily because we were beaten. |

One thing I've noticed as a parent is that taking something a child cherishes away from him pains him and makes him behave better than beating him.

I think if he persist and CBN doesn't seems to shift ground....
Banks and other major establishments will have to shut down....and watch as d state burns BlueRayDicks: That's the annoying thing ; they do everything for political reasons. Dem no dey even out their own people for mind when dem dey take decisions as such. I can bet the branch won't open to customers for a long time.
The management will fear Dapo may revoke their C of O if they don't collect old notes, but they also know collecting old notes translates to a loss to them cos CBN won't take it off them. The wise decision na to shut down and claim no money at all. The HOP of a branch in PH collected 2.5m old notes. I have no idea what he was thinking. The Zonal office of his bank has refused to evacuate it from the branch because they can't take it to the CBN. The guy has tried taking it to the CBN himself but he wasn't successful. Now the guy is stuck with a debt of 2.5m. That will be the fate of any HBS or HOP who collects old notes. Last last, all of them go kukuma close shop. Everybody go rest. |
