Make I just share small heads-up on how to get cash(New notes) from banks in this tough times:

1. Try and locate any of the new commercial banks/islamic banks closest to you. (When I mean new banks, I mean banks like parallex, Jaiz bank, Globus, Premium Trust bank, Lotus bank, etc)

2. Open an instant personal account with them. Some of them have DSA's who would guide you through opening an account via their mobile apps which u will download from your app store ; while others have agents outside the bank handing account opening forms to customers.

3. When u are done with opening the accounts, you can trasfer cash from any of your bank accounts to the new account you just opened and u will be able to withdraw at least 10k over the counter immediately( Their withdrawal limits vary depending on the amount of cash they have at hand and the number if customers waiting to withdraw cash)

4. After successfully withdrawing over the counter, u can still withdraw cash off their ATM's outside. (They dedicate at least one or two ATM machine to solely their customers for withdrawal)

NB: It's advisable u run this package early in the morning before other people already frustrated by their banks will join the queue to scatter things .
This one na for Lagos people.

On my way to work tomorrow morning, I'll snap the crowd at premium trust bank and post here.

This your strategy may work for those who have endless hours to go and queue there.

You should also note that we have 1 Globus bank, 1 Premium trust bank and 1 titan trust bank in the whole of PH.

If these banks have one single branch in a place like PH, how many do you think they will have in Ekiti or Abakaliki grin

Yes it's true. One of them told my wife she bought 40k with 4k from market women.

She now sold the 40k with 8k. She said people were even rushing it.

You were given 31st January to deposit all old notes, you didn't. An extension of ten days was given, you didn't. Even if you were given till thy kingdom come, you still won't.

I know I am being insensitive as there are many who are just victims of this whole thing.

The real blame goes to the APC governors and Buhari that gave the extension of the deadline. And also the Supreme Court for medling with economic policies that doesn't concern them.

Irrespective of whether you support the policy or not, the key point here is just comply. If it fails then we can now hold the appropriate quarters responsible. As it stands now, what we will be hearing is accusations and counter accusations.
Comply and transact with what? Hope you know the main reason people are not complying is because once you deposit the old note, otilo.

You will have to buy it from POS operatives at black market rate the day you need money

And guess what, they will still give you old notes.

Can any Bible-believing Christian explain to me why these people are making life so difficult for Nigerians? cry
The situation is pathetic. I dey owe one market woman N2,300 and the vulcanizer I use 500 naira. It's not because I don't have money to pay but because I don't have cash to pay. I asked madam to bring money from work, she was only able to get N3,000 of dead 100 naira notes. What will I use N3,000 to do?

One woman narrated her ordeal in the market yesterday on radio. She bought something from an Aboki. The Aboki initially insisted on cash but after she pleaded with him, he agreed to a transfer. Unfortunately, due to the Abokis bank network issues, she couldn't send money to him. The Aboki now took her to another Aboki selling in the same market to help him receive the money. Do you know this other Aboki insisted on collecting 500 naira charge just to help receive money and transfer to the original owner. The woman had no choice.

This week has been the worst I've seen since this policy started. Old or new notes, no one even dey again.

POS agents are there collecting 2500-3000 on 10k.I work hard for my money and I can't be throwing it away.

Abuses won't help your course. Wike has failed woefully. Amaechi also did lots of roads. Lots. That did not stop him from investing massively in human capital development.

So those abusive points are not carrying weight.

By the way, before Wike, there was very limited traffic along Aba road. It is just because people became used to spending hours on Aba Road when Wike was doing his roundabout in Garrison, the blocking of road during election, and then the flyovers.

In Amaechi's time, it used to take me ten minutes to move from Spar to Rumuola.

Wike is just a glorified failure.
Just to be clear, that you lack wisdom and have a heart filled with hatred is a statement of fact and not me abusing you

That's because banks were not collecting old notes yesterday but later in the evening, it does appear as if the CBN has told them to resume collection of old notes.

Wike's infrastructure is just waste of scarce resources. People can't feed and he was sinking hundreds of billions into irrelevant flyovers.

That was a waste, not performance.

By the way, it is a huge lie for anyone to tell you that Federal policies hindered job creation.

Amaechi created jobs with Banana Tai plantation, Buguma fish farm, Songhai farm, Timariv, teachers training project, running health centres etc.

So, the Federal policies did not stop Amaechi. Wike just wasted resources. He did not perform but failed woefully.
You lack wisdom. I used to average 12mph and 10mpg when driving within town between 2018 and 2020. With what Wike has done, I now average 23mph driving within town and easily do 18-20mpg.

Those flyovers and infrastructure you say are a waste of resources has saved me a lot of money I would have spent buying fuel and also considerably reduced the time I spend on the road.

I can't even imagine how much I would have been using to buy fuel now that its between 300-400 naira per litre if I was still doing 10mpg.

The internal roads he has done and still doing everywhere has reduced wear and tear on vehicles, resulted in improved earnings for landlords since most of them can now charge more rent.

If you have ever driven on Aker or Nkpor roads before now, you won't even open your mouth to say the roads are a waste of resources. Go and see how Wike turned both roads around. How about the dualization of Tombia all the way for Ikwerre road to Stadium road. That was a brilliant masterstroke by Wike.

Wike has done tremendously well and only a blind person or a heart filled with hatred like yours won't see it.

The ground troops understand what is going on in Rivers State. They know this is a different situation for them in Rivers. While Atiku may not be visiting Rivers in person, he is definitely working with leaders of PDP's strong hold in Rivers State. PDP is not going to disappear just like that after decades of building strong structures because of Wike.

Rivers is fluid at this time but it is Obi's to lose.
Baba you don't know what is going on. If you openly paste a campaign poster of Atiku, you may not make it out alive. These same people who will attack you are the ones you say understand what is going on.

As I type this, there is not a single poster of Atiku whether small or big I have seen anywhere in portharcourt.

Atikus campaign is completely dead here. If he gets 20% of votes, I will be very surprised.

PDP throwing in the towel there is not a good thing for them. Who are the politicians on ground that will mobilize for them? Is there any PDP politician on ground in Rivers pushing for Atiku?

Anyway, Good thing for Tinubu, Any state that Atiku fails to win in the South is a positive for APC

Buhari didnt win Rivers but he won Kano, Lagos Kaduna Katsina some of them with landlide >> 60%. which of these is Atiku sure of 50% in? To throw in the towel on Rivers something sinister is going on

Last year, I said I was happy with how Atiku was handling Wike/ Rivers by ignoring him. Wike is an attention whor.e and when you starve people like that of the attention, they become upset and erratic.

As it stands, Atiku has evaluated his/ PDP's chances in Rivers and I think he is okay if he doesn't pull the most vote in Rivers State. Consequently, it makes no sense going to Rivers and it has nothing to do with Wike because it is now obvious that Wike himself cannot guarantee any single party bloc votes from Rivers State.

Rivers State is traditionally a PDP State with strongholds in certain areas irrespective of Wike. They have established structures that go deep into the ward levels in those areas. Atiku will utilize these structures to gather as much as he can without expecting to win Rivers State. I think PDP can gather 40% of Rivers State without winning it. Asiwaju will also benefit immensely from this fluid state of Rivers State but I don't know about 25%.

PDP cancels rally in Rivers

https://www.nairaland.com/7567479/pdp-cancels-presidential-rally-rivers

So what will happen in Rivers, will they mobilize PDP agents, who will do the mobilization or is Atiku conceding Rivers state to Obi

Hopefully Tinubu gets 25%
Atiku is conceding Rivers state. I saw Reno do an analysis of states he believes they will win and he didn't include Rivers state. You know there was one time Atiku loyalists were saying Buhari didn't win Rivers state but still became president. They have always believed that Rivers state is dispensable.

Tinubu will definitely get more than 25% in Rivers state. Maybe even close to 40% than 30. I hear that Wike has promised 1m to any polling unit/ward that delivers Tinubu cheesy
