I have a cousin who was in final year of PHD in UK under Rivers scholarship when Wike came in. Amaechi had used all the money for 2015 elections and Rivers was owing his 2nd and 3rd year fees. Wike refused anything till date and bros has not graduated. 3 years of sweat down the drain. Hundreds of Rivers students were stuck abroad like this and came home with nothing. Why won't such students rob the Govt if they ever make it into power

This is why I always insist that Federal Govt is infinitely better than State Govt when people start talking about State Police, more state power etc cos I have never seen FG owing salaries while many states are approaching 3 years unpaid, not to talk of pensioners.

I don't remember ever telling you you you were a fan of Wike. The conversation was centered around who will offer the delegates more money and consequently who will win the presidential primaries for the PDP.

If you knew that northern moneybags will add to Atiku's money what was the point of all your analysis about the money Wike and Udom had at their disposal knowing that it would still not match up to what Atiku and his northern gang will have to offer?

The dispute is not that complicated. You are a well-researched guy. Throwing snide remarks like "trust me bro" and "beer parlor analysis" is uncalled for. From the beginning I had already said that Nigerian politics is not the way most people are overanalyzing it here. For instance, you can see them quickly switch to Okowa this, Tinubu that, North Central bla bla. Most of it is emotion laden.

If Tinubu gets the APC presidential candidature, he will be Nigeria's next president. People can clearly see the writing on the wall but they'll rather pretend they did not just because they don't like what it is saying.

Unlimited22, actually Okowa is the perfect VP choice as he brings in Niger Delta and Igbo to the table, and Delta return big numbers. If they can create a good bridge with Wike and Udom, they can lock a lot of votes in AkwaIbom and Rivers too. Those are your 3 big Southern States

I don't see how Tinubu can pick an Igbo running mate, that's a losing ticket against Atiku and Okowa

APC need to think hard. Jonathan seems their only viable way out
